I took a drive around to the carillon this evening to attend this event and enjoy the postcard-worthy sunset.Quite a curious little event location in this renovated toilet block, but the decorations made it very thematic for world postcard day.It was great to catch up with everyone and sign a few postcards along the way!Thanks to isopeda for hosting this event! 
Nice to catch up with a few locals on this nice sunset hour in such a nice location. Very beautiful at the lake. Signed the postcard. A lot of effort went into setting up this nice event tonight. Thank you isopeda for putting this event on and organizing it all.

#22783 @1730It was nice to catch up with others on a pleasant evening watching the sun set. Introduced a muggle visitor to geocaching. This event helped me complete a challenge: attend an event in all 53 weeks of the year, and before this event, I had attended events in all but week 40, which happens to be this week. Thanks for the event.

Attended with minniek and a nice group of locals.Well the CO went all out for this event with the decorations and the post card to HQ - Well Done ! Thanks so much for organising the event and putting on such an amazing sunset! It was great to meet a few more people in Canberra and catch up with those I know. (I mentioned to some people just before I left that BlackOpal2005 was sprinting to a FTF in Melbourne... she got it!!!)
Thank you all for coming. I had to ask MinnieK to take some photos as my phone was dead by the time I got to the venue to set up. Flintstones is right, the shelter has the windows on the wrong side. Well, it was the old toilet block....

I initially deleted my WA for this event because I have had way too much on and had to water my friend's plants at their mansion. I finished watering them earlier than expected, I was 15min from this event with 15min to go, so I decided to make the drive over. Thankfully, the CO and Aykayem were still there and I was allowed to log a find. A really cool concept, sorry that I wasn't here to make my own postcard but I loved signing the joint postcard. TFTE!
