ooops, I could have sworn that I had logged this event, but no. I managed to carve out an early lunch break and zoomed over here on my bicycle. We sat down in a mini Floriade display and the rain held off except for a couple of drops. Thank you for organising this event.
Nice to catch up with a small group during a break in the day. The weather was holding out for us. Got some PTs from LL and had some short conversations before I had to head back.Thank you minniek & fitzy_1965 for putting this event on and organizing it all.
#20995 - 12:20:00 PM; Jumped the tram and headed in to Civic for this event. Arrived a bit after the start time to find a handful of the locals at GZ enjoying the Floriade themed seating. Took my place and enjoyed a bit of geobanter with those assembled, before heading back for another tram trip home. TFTE minniek
Attended this event with the CO and a number of locals in a very nice location.Well that was quite a nice event - the location was great with the Floriade theme and a number of attendees arrived on bikes and scooters - well done ! Geocaching general chitchat followed until people started melting away to get back to work of home. Soon it was my time to go do the family shopping. Thanks to the CO for this event. I know there will be more in this series
Thanks for hosting. I had the unique chance to be there. Did some caching afterwards.
Thx minniek and Fitzy_1965. A gorgeous Floriade location perfect for a lunchtime break. TFTC!
The rain held off and apart from a few spits it was a successful catchup. Nice spot too as the upgrades they have made look great. Had to get back to work though.Great event thanks for organising minniek
I should be able to abscond from my sewing day, and jump on a bus with my lunch and come here to eat, drink and be merry
There is a slim chance that I will attend this event. Just need a few things to line up.
Intending to attend, will see if I can make it into the city for some fresh air and sunshine, and thanks for organising minniek
I'll be at a meeting until midday. I'll see if I get a chance to pop in after that.(Update the night before...)Actually, I'm highly unlikely to get there. A colleague will be driving our work team to and from the meeting, and I don't think that he'd take kindly to a detour for geocaching ??I'll give some thought to driving myself there and back, but it is still unlikely...
Oh, oh, oh.... I will try to be there. I usually only have a 30 min lunchbreak, but should be good for that, especially if I remember to go to work on my bike.
