We carried on dodging the muggles on our way to Gorby's picnic and swimming session. Net61 and I decided to check out one object whilst Jag50 followed her gps to the correct hiding place.
We 3 ladies (Net, Flossie and MrsJAG) continued along the track collecting the caches as we went, on our way to a geocaching event at midday. MrsJAG had her hands on this one by the time the other ladies caught up to her. TFTC SN
? Been a good day, but we needed to head back, and this cache was found by KBclannz or the C.O supernannny. G-2 and myself, were pulling up the rear and we had the benefit of having the cache in our hands when we arrived at GZ. Thanks H.
We are on a walk up the stairs, glad of the caches to pause. This cache seems to have migrated since SN had placed it so once we hunted it out SN replaced it where it came from in its original spot. We had fun helping.TFTC
Again this is the easy bit, the going down, this track always had stairs, and now it has a lot more Loving the hides, its been so long, over 6 years, but it is good to be back. Thanks for the hide and the adventure supernannny
Probably last cache before reach Fairy Falls Event area ... Nice and easy! Many thanks for extra jo when going down ...
A solo excursion for Mr CobletAfter an enjoyable walk along the trail I was excited to now be able to hear the sound of the falls. The new steps here are nicely constructed and very impressive, I can't recall what the original trail was like but am sure this is a huge improvement. As I headed to GZ I saw a tree formation that looked a lot like a crocodile's head sticking out of the bushes. This was one of many animals I saw within the shape of trees today, not sure why but I guess my mind was captivated by the magical feeling of this place and tuned into the many wonderful shapes that nature gives us. I made a nice quick find at GZ in the first place I checked before continuing on down to the falls. Thanks Supernannny for another great hide on the trail.
After seeing these new caches published a plan was hatched for some Team SEAC to head out for another one of our adventures.Nice quick find here...still having fun on the walk still no fairies seen yet although a few of us did joke that we should have dressed up....now that would have been a surprise to see! Thanks for the cache.
Yet another team SEAC adventure with stikacrane, Kelylev, hemaludy and fifinz on what we thought would be a dry day after all the rain. Fingers crossed. TFTC Signed SEAC
Heading out with team SEAC consisting of Keylev, HeMaLuDy, NurseDr, FefeNZ, to locate the falls and maybe the odd fairy.....Signed as SEAC to save logbook space. This waterfall is quite impressive. Thanks for setting this trail and maintaining. TFTC.
We headed out west today for this walk to fairy falls. What a lovely walk it was - but those stairs!!! Beautiful falls after all the rain ove rthe past few days, luckily it was dry today. Here today with a number of Team SEAC - stik-a-crane, keylev, nursedr, fifinz, cragger. Signed as SEAC to save space. A nice quick find here.
I noticed on Friday that the Fairy Falls Track was going to be reopened quietly that afternoon, so I decided to head out there on Sunday morning to check it out. Yesterday I saw that 2 Supernanny caches had been published on the track, so I updated my GPS before heading out here this morning. Struggled with this one on my way down, so left it for the journey back up the hill. Turns out that my GPS had me in the wrong place earlier, but seemed more settled on my second visit and I soon found the cache at GZ. TFTC!
We're on a roll! Another {FTF} with Ratcache1!! It's lovely to hear the water and birdsong Find #83 TFTC
Nearly there, to the falls that is, and imposing sets of beautifully constructed stairs to get out again TFTC.
