Found the cache on 18/11/24 with TBU1BIKESU. Signed the log .Tftc. grannysmith1947A fav point from me
During the GCLOGAN events we tackled this series of letterboxes. All letterboxes deserve a fav point for the awesome decoration! It was a pleasure to open the outer container to see what is inside! So I give random fav points. Tftc Grannysmith1947
BrissyCat and I spent most of the day chasing caches with a certain attribute for a November challenge. She had found most of this series recently but without a 4wd, hadnt found the final few, so back today in the 4wd, we drove to the top and made our way down, easily finding all of this fun series. We loved how much work has gone into them. Logbook signed and replaced as found. Tftc
On a trip to the south side to pick up targeted caches to fill another loop in the DT grid and to work towards a couple of challenges I have on my radar. After finding a safe place to park o made my way to ground zero where the cache was quickly located. Log extracted and mark made for prosperity.Returned to the car and was soon on my way to the next set of targets for the day.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found and for all the efforts that go with future maintenance.Cheers
Noticed I didn't have many letterbox finds and then saw this lovely trail. Thanks for putting these out here and for the thought and work that has gone into them. Only grabbed half today so that I can come back for the rest and more fun another time.Utterly frustrated by the first in the trail, so this was a lovely quick find to keep me chasing the rest.
I was out today chasing attribute. I found 17 caches today with 4WD attribute. All were signed and replace back. grannysmith 1947 thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for enjoyment of the caching community.
Its November, which means its all about off-roading. Peppa and I have let Miranda loose, we have a 4wd and we are going to use it! We teamed up with GUR to tackle this series, loved the themed hides. Thanks for the cache grannysmith1947Find #6604
Today is all about Off Roading Theres a challenge for thatDavinells and I have a list, well Davinells has a list, I just have a sense of flair and good shoes An early start, our day included a CITO at Dutton Park, and a good amount of off roading around Logan There would have been more, but Logan Council seems to have an unlimited budget for bollardsHaving joined forces with GUR we were able to motor through this series without any real issues, other than admiring the COs abilities with a glue gunThanks grannysmith1947
I met up with my long time caching buddies Peppa and Davinells to find this lot. A good caching day out. I AM GUR

After attending GCLOGAN - Postcard Day event Alisan, 0B80B8 and I set off armed with the appropriate information to look for this letterbox series of caches. After meeting a truck at the most inappropriate section of road we reached this cache and the find was made. Thank you grannysmith1947 for the cache and the adventurous drive.
Collecting these guys that werent here the other day when we were out and about.
We got an early start this morning to go letterbox hunting and after that weave our way home through a few of the many new pockets of GLM idiom caches while picking up welcome strays along the way. This was our first of the letterbox caches and geobuddy jumped backwards as she opened the lid thinking there was a spider coming at her.We hadn't been expecting the great diorama inside.Great work! Thanks grannysmith1947
After the event GCLOGAN Tuesday - World Postcard Day I joined 0B80B8 and icybeetas on the bone rattling drive to the magnificently themed series of letterbox caches. The mailbox was located and the log signed by the three of us. The cache was returned as found and we continued on our way. TFTC
Looking forward to all the GCLogan activities and events; during the events and caching activities, I teamed up with Bluewattle, Grannysmith Kerrie MG and Snickersallan as we worked our way around the areas collecting the new caches, and even some older ones. We managed to attend most events, a few citos and some meal events. It was great to see the many different faces turning up to the different events.Today I was chasing a few caches and a couple of the events. Our team was happy to grab a whereigo or a UGO as they are known down this way. I am glad we got to do these as a group, we always seem to run into issues like the phone dying or the app dies off so there is safety in numbers. It was a little drive along a dusty road that we found a few letterbox caches. Large caches and all worth a favourite point. We signed the logs and continued on, thanks for the great caches.
After the GCLOGAN lunch event, I teamed up with Icybeetas and Alisnan to tackle this new trail of letterboxes. The road was certainly quite interesting, especially when meeting a large truck on a blind bend, after it had just dropped off a bulldozer up the road. Luckily we managed to squeeze past. This letterbox trail was amazing and I wish I could allocate a FP to all of them, but I just don't have enough unfortunately. Was really pleased though, that this one I considered extra special, was my allocated FTF cache, so has to have a FP here. Thx GS1947 for your efforts on all the caches in this great trail.
A wonderful 9 days spent exploring the length and breadth of Logan in the company of great friends and family. I was so fortunate to have GreenGecko1 both drive me around and accompany me in the kayak, allowing me to fully participate in the whole experience. A fabulous selection of caches, some of which had great camouflage, some adorable guardians, some perfectly matched the cache name and some really well hidden. I really enjoyed my time paddling, bushwalking, fishing, chatting and finding new and interesting places to visit. Thanks to everyone who put so much time and effort in to creating and placing all the caches and organising everything behind the scenes. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed. Thanks for this one grannysmith1947
GCLOGAN TripFound while attending GC Logan. What a fun day we had. I am travelling with GrimRaider to GCLogan and then to western NSW on our first trip with the van. Thanks for hiding this cache grannysmith1947
Out and about this afternoon finding some caches after attending an event at lunchtime. This letterbox series as well as the other letterboxes has been put together with a lot of time, effort, love and creativity. Well done and thank you grannysmith1947 for all the letterbox caches you have made- magnificent job. Fav point awarded. I stamped my passport as I went along the way too. TFTC
This afternoon I travelled with Kittykatch, Albida33, Shazzarr66 to hunt down these new Letterbox caches that Grannysmith had placed out to add to the enjoyment of our game. Please excuse the generic log but there are so many caches to log today. TFTC Grannysmith1947 SL
#757 4:04 PMIn the car with 5 geocachers including myself driving around finding these caches. 3 of us got out of the car to find the cache and sign the log and I stamped each stamp I found. Each cache was very beautiful inside and some caches was a little mini adventure. The mini stamps in some of the caches in this series was very cute. A couple of times our driver nearly drove off without one of our fellow geocachersThanks for placing this cache grannysmith1947
GCLOGAN TuesdayLooking for another full day of caching, I packed my car the night before so I could get an early start for the day.Given that its World Postcard Day its only fitting there is a well attended letterbox hunt.Quick find.I found your cache, Occupation Defence Force today., TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF

Out with Wollaston AustreesNAustPark Flaker2rule and I posting a letter or two. Another great creation by my friend. Signed the log and returned to where found. Thanks Grannysmith1947. All good with this cache and letterbox
This turned into a very full and action-packed day commencing with some tree planting to loosen us up before hitting the roads. There was no burning daylight. Just go, go, go!Collected a few multis, wherigos, letterboxes, and a couple of traditional caches. This section of letterboxes, one of my favourite types to find, was wonderfully put together with a lot of detail, time, and effort put into each and every one. Our group was amazed at each one we opened along the trail and commented how great they were. Thank you, grannysmith1947, for providing these special hides and a favourite point from me!
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 153 - Logan Day 6. GCLOGAN event day 5. Today's early start was for a CITO to plant trees at Greenbank. It was way too early, but even though we were a little late, we still managed to make it for the planting. After the event we took on some labs and even managed to score a few of the UV surprise caches at today's prize draw. The only one I managed to get to. There was a midday event followed by a chaotic Letterbox hunt on a very small narrow road, with some very confused locals. We did a few caches around the park near the end of the letterbox trail before heading home to have dinner. After lunch I jumped in a car with Imbunda driving, Shazzar66, Smitten Granny and Kitty Katch. We worked our way slowly along this now busy road from the top (except the first one) to find these letter boxes. The themed large ones were all very impressive and a great effort to put out. Thanks for the cache grannysmith194749596.28 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2007 Compass Rose Silver A#75**Albida**
Teamed up with Snickersallan, Granny Smith 1947, KerriMG and chamad this afternoon. These letter boxes have been created with love and dedication to a raft of different occupations. I was pleasantly surprised with each letterbox that we located and opened. Favourite point awarded to all occupation letterboxes. Special place in my heart for this one. GO NAVY. Thanks to chamad for designated driver for the day. Thanks Granny Smith 1947 for creating and placing.
Today we are off to Jimboomba. I think the last time I was here it was the 60s! My parents used to travel with a club to play tennis and we came to Jimboomba a few times. I associate this area with playing on the riverbank; I see now that that is Maclean.I like letterboxes. We stop if we see different ones and I take a photo. So its a no brainer that I like letterbox caches!Wollaston very kindly drove us, team Benders and Flaker2rule around the letterbox caches. It was lovely to carpool and get to know more geocachers. Thanks for creating, placing and maintaining this cache.
Why was I expecting a bucket full of plastic soldiers.... the ones that get wedged in mint tins. ?? This was much better. Found after being given the relevant info at GCLOGAN's World Postcard Event. TFTC grannysmith1947. FP
