After skipping this on the way to the falls due to the number of muggles, there was nobody in sight on the way back so another cache to add to the tally for the day. TFTC

All good here, thanks for placing it for us to find.

It was like rush hour at this point on the track, so once there was a small gap in the muggles I put my hand in and grabbed the cache. We had the decoy geohound with us so nobody was interested in me signing the log and replacing the cache.

We 3 ladies (Net, Flossie and MrsJAG) continued along the track collecting the caches as we went, on our way to a geocaching event at midday. A nice quick find here with the hint, timing our extraction of the cache between the many groups of muggles. So nice to see so many families on the trail today. TFTC

This is the easy bit, we are finding the caches along the way, but I suspect the coming back up will take more effort Big GrinAnother fun find, loving the series of hides supernannny

A solo excursion for Mr Coblet. After finding the first two caches on the trail I headed toward this one and, as the CO says in the description, saw a wide range of trees and heard some lovely birdsong. I soon spotted the knobbly protrusions mentioned in the description and thought that one looked like a birds head with a eye and beak if you look at it from the right angle. I've attached a photo to the log if anyone wants to try and spot it.You have done a great job at finding perfect places to place these caches Supernannny, this one in particular. I peered into the cave and couldn't see anything so reached around and still had no luck. I thought it may have been hidden deep so reached as far as I could but couldn't find anything.I didn't want to log a DNF and was sure it must be there so decided to try again on my way back and continued my walk. But to my surprise I spotted the cache a few metres away just sitting at the side of the trail. I assume it must have been found by a muggle who didn't know what it was and had decided to leave it out in the open in case the owner returned. So a very nice gesture by the muggle if that was the case. After signing the log I made sure the cache was placed out of sight in the cave covered by a bit of natural camo before continuing my walk. I was also pleased to know my geosenses hadn't failed me on my initial search. I want to give a favourite point for this series and think that this cache deserves to get it as its a great hiding spot in a lovely location. Thanks Supernannny.

After seeing these new caches published a plan was hatched for some Team SEAC to head out for another one of our adventures.Unbelievably FefeNZ managed to extract the cache literally whilst a muggle was taking a photo of the structure above and they were completely oblivious and thanked us for waiting to take our photos!! Thanks for the cache.

We headed out west today for this walk to fairy falls. What a lovely walk it was - but those stairs!!! Beautiful falls after all the rain ove rthe past few days, luckily it was dry today. Here today with a number of Team SEAC - stik-a-crane, keylev, nursedr, fifinz, cragger. Signed as SEAC to save space. A nice quick find here. FefeNZ spotted the cache from the track, but there was a guy taking photos of the knobbly protrusions (which were very cool). Did that stop her, NO, she just leant in, retrieved the cache and we signed it. Not even sure he noticed!

I noticed on Friday that the Fairy Falls Track was going to be reopened quietly that afternoon, so I decided to head out there on Sunday morning to check it out. Yesterday I saw that 2 Supernanny caches had been published on the track, so I updated my GPS before heading out here this morning. On arrival at the carpark, I checked my phone and saw that 4 more Supernanny caches had just been published while I was driving out here! With the phone signal in the area being patchy at best, I saved the new caches offline while I had the opportunity to, then headed off down the track. 3rd find of the day and a quick find in the obvious place. Blank logsheet signed it for the {FTF}! Thanks for placing new caches along here, its great to be able to revisit this very scenic trail after years of closure.
