Out early before the rain, this time had to dodge the cyclists, a very sneaky hide, signed log and replaced. Thanks to wazza9

I went to the wrong end first and ended up with two feet covered in ants. All part of the caching process, but only for the oblivious!

Nice one, TFTC. Because of the works I was afraid it was going to be a DNF, but luckily it was there!

A nice quick find on the way out to Kurnell this afternoon. TFTC!

This took me an embarrassing number of passes to find. I had been within centimetres of the cache several times before actually locating it. Thanks. #1826

Frazeydaze and I headed to the Shire for caching today. Here we had a quick park and grab with no workers on site next to gz. SLRC as found. TFTC

After having to log a DNF last time and missing out on the FTF, we decided to retry this one today. Once at GZ, we nearly got stung in the eye by wasps before skimming over the cleverly hidden cache a few times. After about 5 mins we had CIH. Very creative camouflage and we actually have one ourselves accept we havent placed it anywhere yet. We were expecting a nano . Also, this was our 350 geocache find. ONLY 50 MORE TO GO BEFORE OUR 400 MILESTONE! WOO-HOO!!!TFTC, signed and replaced.Thankfully we had some NEW TOTTs with us and this was the first time we got to use one of them. *The bug protection TOTT.*

I think there must be some sort of "Kurnell Kurse", as not for the first time I have been caught out searching in the wrong location along this stretch of road, only to discover the corrected coords later. Anyway, after LegoLads successful FTF (it was their turn anyway) find in the dark last night, I was confident of where it might be and organised to meet up with Jackscruff, who happened to be visiting The Shire today. We found a legal parking spot about 120m north of GZ, but we noticed there was temporary fencing and a number of workers right where we wanted to be. We casually walked by and worked out where the cache could be, hoping they hadn't inadvertently removed it in their process of doing their job. Fortunately it was still in place, so we discretely grabbed and moved further afield to do the signing duties. Back to GZ, where we stealthily returned it and headed back to the cars.Of course, if I had noticed where the previous cache had been, I would have walked the extra 70m from where I had spent some time searching yesterday. Glad to tick this one off the list. Found with Jackscruff and GeodogZelda. TFTC

With a day planned in the Shire today I was pleased to see a couple of new caches published yesterday.Yesterday I discussed my planned visit with Brewmaker and this new cache. I did suggest the hiding spot of the original cache here but he couldn't remember the hide. Today we parked about 100m from GZ, the only place that seems to be available for parking in this section of Captain Cook Drive. As I drove past to that spot I could see many trucks and workers right at where I remembered the previous GZ. Walking back we discussed the hide. Luckily we had GeodogZelda with us as she helped provide a decoy while we looked for the cache. After several minutes searching with surprisingly no interaction from the workers here we found the cache. With the log signed we positioned ourselves for a safe replacement of the container.TFTC # 6215

Just stating that the coordinates are in the middle of the road and reading off a log, there are CCTV cameras in the area which is no good. I have emailed and messaged the CO so can the CO please check?

Coordinates changed from:S 34 1.968 E 151 9.745Coordinates changed to:S 34 1.995 E 151 9.715Distance from original: 223.4 feet or 68.1 meters.I am sorry, I just coppeid the shown coordinates on the cache I archived. Forgot it was a puzzle and that the GZ wasn't at the same location.

Got very lucky with this {FTF} as I just happened to be out here at the time the coordinates were updated. From there it was a quick find of a cache type that I really enjoy. And on the up side, between Brewmaker and I we have done some nice clearing of a nearby fence line. I did manage to encounter a very dehydrated and quite dead possum during my initial search, which certainly had the adrenaline levels spiking. Thanks for another great adventure wazza9!

Looked at lots of places and felt all around. No luck. Felt a bit suspicious as workers were leaving the plant.

After moving my car to a legal parking spot (southbound near the bus stop), I tried again. I still felt suspicious with signs warning of trespassing and searched further afield. High and low, but still, no luck. I'll let some other hounds have a go before I return.

Saw the First to find log still available when we got home from doing some other stuff. So we decided to head out and make an attempt. Upon arrival at GZ, we saw that BrewMaker had logged a DNF and that he has had a very detailed and experienced look around the areas. Not a very good starting sign for us. After 30 minutes of searching, we decided to give up and head home whilst awaiting CO to message us back in regard to this cache. We noticed a lot of worker activity in the plant as the water treatment facility had begun to close. Maybe they saw something and decided to take a closer look? Also, the coordinates seem to be in the middle of the road and there are signs informing people of LIVE CCTV in operation, and there are 3 cameras at and around GZ! Possibly security came and had a look??? Who knows but our guess is that something has happened to the cache.**Can the CO please check?**MaxI125
