Logs
#23130 @0955Day 3 of an 8 day trip: Drive from Canberra to Melbourne, then by air to Flinders Island, Launceston, King Island, and back to Melbourne, then drive back home to Canberra. Today, I was targeting counties, preferring to also find caches with certain attributes (e.g. size) to help with various personal goals. Cache soon found. TFTC.
Great day and we were the only ones to enjoy this beautiful peaceful place Thanks to other logs we finally found it after looking low and nearly disturbed Mr blue tongue lizard so when we thought smaller I wasn't game to stick my finger in so used a handy stick and yep out the otherside came the cache but forgot the pen lol
Last time we were here I'm sure there was a cache down along the waters edge slightly to the west which we couldn't look for at that time as there were too many people (aka muggles) loitering around but when I looked at the Geocaching map of nearby caches that one no longer existed for whatever reason. Anyway this one brought us here again and as we had the entire area to ourselves Mrs B & I could rummage around looking for it without beady muggle eyes watching our movements and wonder WTF are they up to! So, yes we found it after a search although I shouldn't have stuck my finger where biteys could be lurking.TFTC
Thank you grannyapple64, enjoying finding some of your caches today, again, a lovely spot for a cache although it did have us stumped for a while until that light bulb moment, great hide.TFTC TNLN
I wasted a lot of time searching the most obvious place... But spotted another feature that had possibilities. I found it soon enough! It pays to think small. TFTC
It's always nice and tranquil out here at the lake has been a favourite place of mine to visit since the 80s thanks again for placing another cache here grannyapple 64
Love Blue Rock DamIt has this incredible timeless quality enjoyed by all.SO searching for this cache i saw a huntsman leg poking out and thought "hell no!" I'm not going there. However after some searching I had to. Yep that's where it was. Got a stick and a whole bunch of nerve and went for it. log retrieved and signed without further drama. Thanks for another sneaky hide in a great area grannyapple64regardskbucky
{FTF} when this was published yesterday it was poring down and I was getting over the flu, today although the wind was freezing the rain had stopped so I headed out to try for the FTF's. For a 1.5/1.5 this took way longer than it should have but I eventually came up with the cache and a blank log book. Thanks grannyapple64 for the cache.
