#15,560. Visiting from Wellington, we were staying in Richmond and arrived early at the Speight's Ale House Nelson on Quarantine Road / Cadillac Way in Annesbrook, Nelson. Met taybeedragon in the car park and we had a good catch up. Great to meet vistra and TheLandGirl and the other local geocachers around the overflowing table at the full restaurant. All the best for the house hunting and the move south in the next few months.*Thanks for organising the event, and **.T h a n k s. .f o r. .t h e. .c a c h e.**.M a u r u u r u. .k o e. .n u i. .a t u. .h o k i. .t e. .k e t e r o k i[.](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCAY3Y8_joint_{FTF})*---### LET US HAVE A BLOCK PARTY!!! ###On **May 3rd, 2025**, we will be celebrating 25 years of geocaching in **Rotorua, New Zealand** with a special **Block Party** event. A little jiggle to plans and not sure either of us will be able to make this catch up but looking forward to meeting you when you relocate. The current weather does remind me of a weekend we were looking at property in 'sunny Nelson' where it poured with rain so between property viewing, we thoroughly enjoyed some of the local hospitality at a cafe or two to discuss options. Enjoy the weekend.
Welcome to sunny Nelson. I promise it is not always like today. Thanks for organising this get together. Sorry I could not stay longer but I had another previously booked appointment. Looking forward to catching up with you both when you make the move.
Wonderful getting to know everyone while enjoying a lovely meal. Thanks for all the tips and tricks.
Great time with lots of friends. Best of luck with house hunting and the move. TFTE.
Nice to catch up with some locals and meet some not so local.Thank you for organising this event.
Great to be able to catch up again with the local caching crew, visitors and welcome to the soon new arrivals. Thank you for organising the event.
What a brilliant way to introduce yourselves to the local caching community. Lovely to meet you both and to catch up again with the huhugrubs and the other locals. A lovely evening thank you.
It was great meeting you both and catching up with everyone and having a lovely meal thanks vistra & TheLandGirl for put on this Event
Great to meet you both, happy house hunting and hope the move down goes smoothly. Thanks for organising the event#17340
Had this on my radar, so its a trip over the divide today. Weather was looking crappy but stayed fine for the morning shopping and then crashed as I started caching. So that ended up in a disaster of trying a multi I did not find, loosing my pen and trying to stay dry as the rain set in. Gave up caching at headed back to the event early to read a book. But Huhugrub pulled up right beside me so we spent some tine catching up on news. Great catching up with Vistra again and will hopefully see more of them as they are become South Islanders and nearly locals. Great catching up with lots of Nelson Clan. Awesome event - thanks. Cheers
Awesome event Welcome to Nelson to you both, enjoyed meeting both of you and look forward to catching up with you guys at the next event. Great to catch up with everyone too. Thanks for the event.
Nice to catch up with everybody and meet you 2. Nice meal. Good to hear everyone's upcoming plans
Thanks to everyone who attended, it was a great event! It was nice to meet a friendly group of local cachers!
Only one of us able to attend for a short time as there is another prebooked appointment in Richmond at 7pm
One for dinner pleaseWhat a great way to introduce yourselves to us all. I am particularly interested to meet TheLandGirl and find out her connection with the sculpture but also as we have the same name - that doesn't happen very often .
Checked in with SJT_NZ and with a bit of a jiggle assuming no flight delays, both of us should make this one for a pop in at least. Always keen to welcome some new cachers to the community.
Will be there with aalis_01 cheers looking forward to the event. Will bring the trackable for you guys to take back to Auckland with you. Cheers Elliot13
