Spending some time caching around the NSW/ACT southern tablelands with lots of side trips. TFTC. A long trekking day in Goorooyaroo Nature Reserve collecting puzzle caches. Lots up up and down hills. Noticed roo callings were happening as I walked out. Didn't take a ladder so so crazy tree climbs.Finished the day with a CITO and dinner event. Excellent. Nice turnout. Great to see everyone and new cachers. Joint *ftf*
Attended with minniek and a great bunch of locals including a Newbie !I managed to sort out the bus routes to get here by 4:30pm (with free travel at the moment - bonus) in case there were any early birds. And of course there were. Newbie Past_Time soon arrived as did ALL7. They searched far and wide and as more people arrived the bags began to be filled. A great effort by everyone. Well Done. Thanks for a neat CITO GLISS! !! It was my pleasure to help you hold this CITO. Also thanks for the Joint *FTF* !
Arrived a little late in the session with Czechboy14 and MilesMorales2, seemed all the good work had already been done. Boys brought the footy along so ended up kicking it around for the last 15 minutes.Thanks for hosting another well arranged event.

21036 - 5:55:04 PM; After a few days away in the Blue mountains and Sydney, I wasn't sure if I'd be back in time for this event. Made it with a few minutes to spare and still failed to claim a last to find as minniek turned up just after me! Anyway, enjoyed a bit of chit chat with the others in attendance before heading over to another event nearby. Joint *FTF* was an added bonus! TFTC GLISS! 
Rocked up this afternoon and claimed my garbage bag to try and find some rubbish to klean!Much of the immediate area was looking pretty tidy, but venturing across the creek in the direction of a nearby trad ended up revealing some odd bits and pieces.A tree fort was explored, half an umbrella was discovered, and I wound up returning with a decently full bag before catching up with the other locals who had shown up in the meantime.Thanks to GLISS! and fitzy_1965 for hosting this CITO!

Arrived half way through the event and collect smaller bits around. It was pretty clean already so came over and meet a new cacher Past_time and had a great to talk all things caching. Thanks for the *FTF* !

Woo hoo. Great to be out with Unsuspecting Sausage for a little gorilla cleaning with the cachers. Managed to grab a nearby cache whilst we were here, not fall in the water at the culvert, and miss getting swooped by the magpie.. an all round win!! Thanks for the fun way to spend the evening and the group *FTF*
I arrived after finishing work and just after the big clean up. 3 bags of rubbish were found and are now in my wheelie bin for collection tomorrow. Thanks everyone who helped clean up this little corner of Kaleen. (FTF)

(FTF) my first CITO event, and an opportunity to meet some wonderful geocachers.Although the reserve looked fairly clean to the casual observer, myself and others managed to fill numerous collection bags. So a job well done.Gliss + fitzy_1965, thanks for organising the event. I will keep my eye out now for other nearby events that I can attend.
Cache # 11491 on 2 Oct 2024Managed to make it to this event with 10mins to spare, after attending a late afternoon meeting. Still a good crowd hanging around and I was not even the last to turn up! The area looked pretty clean by the time the crowd left to attend the next event! Thank you GLISS! for hosting this event and the fun!
