This is going to be an enjoyable series to complete - it is interesting learning from those various information boards which have been installed around Dunedin. But the finals are completely random, needing driving because they are scattered far away from the start point in irrelevant places, so pre-solving is clearly the way to do them. There used to be an octagonal building from the 1889 exhibition on a farm near Kuri Bush, visible from thd road - I remember reading that it was a ticket kiosk? - but sadly that has collapsed now.https://the-lothians.blogspot.com/2016/06/the-new-zealand-and-south-seas.html?m=1This cache was certainly exhibiting itself when we approached - it was fully exposed and visible to anyone looking..! Left it properly concealed. Satisfying to have one more dot day honestly filled in on what will be a multi-year challenge.
It was a good decision to approach from the top of the path, as it is relatively steep. No problem finding the cache. Thanks for the cache!
Some interesting history, and we soon had the required numbers. The cache was a fairly quick find in the rain. TFTC
Couldn't work out why my coordinates were sending me into someone's back garden. Good job I'd taken pictures of the information board - spent a good 15 minutes working out the puzzle again and again before realising I'd just plugged A and F around the wrong way - Doh! Finally had the cache signed, thanks
