Logs
A quick find and another log jointly signed as Firebird9 and joint {FTF} with other event attendees. TFTC TwigNZ
An event based joint [FTF] @ 11:56.After the nearby event to celebrate the beginning of Daylight Savings Time two new geocaches appeared on the Levin landscape, and this was one of them.As soon as these new caches were made available to us, for reasons that came about an hour and a half later, I hastily departed the event and came here. The first to arrive at this cache, it was a quick find in the (as usual) well made hide type by the CO. All good here (before the hordes arrived).---Thanks to TwigNZ for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with Geocachers like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.
After the event here in Levin i set out with etherlord and others to visit the two new caches and this was the first of the two , We knew we must be at about the right spot there be the SPCA as well as the Pound and the cache was soon in hand having a little bit of the C O's signature style so it was soon signed by all and replaced Many thanks for this new cache . and another joint [FTF] as well !
Team ??arefootguru, ??ruzie, ??nfoferret, and ??rystalFairy are on a companionable day trip to On your marks, get set, GO 6 in the Wattmobile.I spotted the tell as we approached. Twisting by the pool another nicely constructed hide by CO, and an event {FTF} #??
Travelling with InfoFerret and CrystalFairy in barefootguru's wattmobile up to Levin for TwigNZ's Get Set Go event and picking up some new (and possibly some not so new) caches on the way and back.Another quick find done, and another joint FTF. Signed as BBIC.All good here, and thank you to TwigNZ for the placement of your Traditional Cache.Find #7142 at 29 September 2024 12:27pm
Found with others (FTF) after attending the local event celebrating the commencement of this years daylight saving. Thanks TWIGNZ for placing another cache within the Levin community.
{FTF} jointly with a number of others from the "On your marks, get set, GO! 6" event. When Talla64, monk3ybash3r and I arrived, there was already someone from the event searching (without success). I'm pleased to say my geocaching senses were on the ball today and it was a quick find. (Log signed as MB,FD, T64 for the 3 of us in our geomobile to save space on the logsheet). Thanks very much for setting these caches up for us all to find TwigNZ. Good fun.
After the completion of the sixth Ready, Set, Go event a number of us in pooled cars headed off to nab a few 'tricky' caches and a couple of new ones. This is one of the new ones, and a joint {FTF} with the Firebird-9, although I did sign it myself too. Clever hide. TFTC Twig
We travelled down to Levin enjoying the first day of DLS (which got finer and warmer as the day progressed) for the DLS celebratory event, "On your marks, get set, GO! 6", https://coord.info/GCAWPK2. Here we were able to team up with some others for a little post-event caching. For us in Levin there was only one outstanding cache to find plus two by our event host, just newly published. This was the second of the new hides for us. Thanks for the joint {FTF}. It's a nicely constructed little hide - gets a fav from us. We signed ourselves but I think the log was then signed Firebird9 as well, so we're doubly there! TFTC TwigNZ ??
**taybee** is caching again with **Jeanjeanie** for the dayJoin [FTF]Quick find here today All in good order, sign log book as **taybee** Cache was found at **29/09/2024 @ 12:30:56**
{FTF} with others after the after attending the Levin event put on by TwigNZ with Flowerydaze and a visitor from Texas USA, monk3ybash3r. TFTC TwigNZ
Joint [FTF] with the multitude of attendees from the TwigNZ event today. Now thats how to get 30+ people out of a cafe to give the staff a chance to recover before the lunch rush - publish a new cache. Thanks TwigNZ we had a great time. Having fun caching with Ethermiss, Etherlord (our driver today) and haydn.seek. Great to catch up and find some micros by the pound as well. Some doggos were just being taken for a walk as we handed our find over to the next group of cachers that pulled up behind us - caching after a event does that! On to the next one, superquick if Ethermiss has anything to do with it...
29 September 2024 12:27. Number 14795 for me & a joint [FTF]. 2nd point on our whistle stop tour of Levin after today's excellent event.I will admit that the cache name reminded me of a 1973 Genesis Album title.... Intentional?TftC
Joint {FTF} with other event attendees.Nice quick find hereSigned log tm/ww NZTFTC
Heading out after the event with a crowd of pers as you do - a new cache is a great way to break up an event. So anyway, we all turned up here. After a quick check of the obvious places we spotted something that might be becoming a signature hide.Nice quick find, that might be a little harder after it's been here for 6 months. Anyway, thanks for the joint [FTF].Found with the crew from the Ready Set Go event this morning.
Joint {FtF} with the rest of the attendees of the local event. We scratched our heads a little at GZ until I spotted something that didn't quite fit in. Just like a pile of sticks at the base of a tree, they belong at the location, but not like that...Once the host was identified, the logbook was quickly extracted and signed. Thanks!
joint [FTF] w/ YetiNZ and other event attendees. After a great event I ditched my father and joined Yeti for what would turn out to be a great afternoon of fun. This was the first cache of many I would do this afternoon. TFTC
An absolutely magnificent day for caching. Perfect weather. Good company (BBIC) - Bruzie, BFG, Infoferret and CrystalFairy. Todays objective to grab a few caches related to the On your marks Event and then a casual lunch and some easy caches up north. Cleverly hidden cache. Seen a few but still took a while to spot. Nicely crafted.. T4TC
#15,517. Joint {FTF} and first day find. At the conclusion of the On your marks, get set, GO! 6 event nearby, the event organiser published two new geocaches for all to enjoy. Many event attendees went in groups to find them. This was the second of the two for us.Park and grab on Mako Mako Road in Levin. The GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Relatively quick find. The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.Favorite point added for the hide.*Thanks for the geocache placement, and for bringing us to this site, and **.T h a n k s. .f o r. .t h e. .c a c h e.**.M a u r u u r u. .k o e. .n u i. .a t u. .h o k i. .t e. .k e t e r o k i.*---### LET US HAVE A BLOCK PARTY!!! ###On **May 3rd, 2025**, we will be celebrating 25 years of geocaching in **Rotorua, New Zealand** with a special **Block Party** event.
