Omegaman1971Support Your Local VillainLive - Laugh - LurkFirst To Find: 206Sidetracked Cache Finds: 141Out with Rebel Acts on this scorching day, tracking down some new local caches and a few farther out. Would definitely prefer cooler weather for caching, but it's still a great time hunting for hidden plastic!
A new cache only 400m from home? But it took me a few weeks to find the time to walk to it and search. Great little spot I've been to many times. Took a few minutes to find the elusive cache which as others have noted is well hidden. Thanks.
Out and about with Tiz13 for another caching adventure, my other caching partner had already done most of the caches on our list as he chased the FTF'sThis is one of the caches found today. I swear it's a conspiracy, the only day with parking restrictions was Tuesday, the day we came caching. Thanks MrNick1972 for the cache.
Today, I hit the Geo Road with Rebel Acts on a mission to clear his map of the new caches that have been placed recently. This was one of those caches we found today after having a chuckle at the street sign and wondering WTF is so special about Tuesday's around here?
I finished work today and had no commitments so decided to head to Ringwood to look for some caches. Of course just as I reversed out of the driveway the rain started but nothing the umbrella didn't fix for the first 5 caches anyway. After that the wind died down and the rain pretty much stopped which was much more pleasant.Took a couple of minutes until I moved something and spotted something out of place. Thanks MrNick1972 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
After having dinner with a girlfriend who lives in North Ringwood, and being unable to find a cache near her place, I came looking for this one on my way home. The most difficult thing to find was a pen in my car! I refused to be that person who logs, "I couldn't find a pen so here's a photo" I searched in every nook and cranny, every compartment and bag in my car. Eventually, I found an old pen, a little bit sticky, in the bottom of my glove box. It did the trick!Having found the cache and signed the log, I saw a critter in the middle of the path on my way back to the car! Photo attached. Thanks for the cache, MrNick1972
Ugh....searching, searching, searching.....muttering and more searching......and then just as I was ready to call it and head for home, Crustyvarmint came up with the cache.....and right where we had both looked previously! Thanks for the cache MrNick1972
Well, this took us quite some time. With Redcb, and Pilot the dog, we searched the places that matched the hint, without success. After expanding the search area, we were still unable to find anything of interest. Sitting down, and reading the previous logs, led us to believe it was still in play, but very sneakily hidden. Resuming the search where our devices indicated, we spent way more time without noticing any signs of a cache. After moving something, we suddenly saw an interesting object. It turned out to be the container we were seeking.Thank you MrNick1972. Another favourite point coming your way.
I saw that this new cache had popped up and I was heading in this direction to find a couple of other caches, so I thought I would swing by, expecting it to be a quick find. I could not have been more wrong. I searched and searched and read the hint and searched some more. Nothing, Bah! I then did a more thorough search, still nothing. I don't like DNFs, especially when I am sure that the cache is there, so I gave it one more shot. I found the cache where I had looked previously, but just not well enough. This cache is very well hidden and I must look more carefully. This is a lovely piece of bush land and a great spot for a cache.

[FTF]New geocache publications often land on a day I'm working in the city. Fortunately, today was a WFH day, so despite being trapped in a meeting I thought I might have a chance to nab this. I jumped in the car straight after the meeting ended, about 90 minutes after publication alert, as there were still no online logs.A lovely bit of urban greenery here. After making my way to GZ I hunted around in all the logical spots without luck for 5-10 minutes. After speculating further on the hint the prize was revealed with a fresh log sheet to sign. Thanks MrNick1972 for bringing me here for a mini-adventure to break up a work day.
