A fun solve when I was on a holiday. Today while driving last I made a quick find. TFTC.
I completed this puzzle on the day it was published and got the green light from the checker. I even knew a couple of the answers without research as they are routes I use from time to time.The checker took 2 goes however.Why?It just happens that one of the routes in the puzzle has 2 different services with different numbers that run that route. Of course I chose the wrong one for the first attempt.Today I had planned some caches to find over in the Bexley/Kingsgrove area while I was nearby for GeoLorikeets milestone event. I had forgotten about this one though and did not notice it on the map.Thank you GMAU for reminding me!I was able to visit GZ without really detouring from my route home at all. Hope TNSW don't cancel the services and mess up your puzzle.With the new Metro they are often changing the bus routes in my area.TFTC # 6296FP for a well constructed puzzle and your ingenuity.
A nice puzzle which we could cope with. We enjoyed a cycle along the M5 today before detouring to some caches in this suburb. A very well hidden cache. Good of you to supply a hint for a cache in this area. Thank you GeoMonkeyAU
joint 3TF with MaxAdventurer and EverestHigh. I can't believe that Geodog Zelda's FTF-hound antics cost our group 2TF, I feel robbed. I solved this puzzle a few days ago, A nice puzzle. I don't catch the bus often, but when I do, It's usually the 786 to the Train station, or the 501 from Parramatta. thanks for the puzzle and cache GMAU

A new GMAU puzzle pops up, and I get to work on solving it. I'm glad it stipulated that I didn't need to travel on all those bus routes to get an answer, however, I would be getting my money's worth out of my Gold Opal Card if I had to. I sensed a pattern here, as did GeodogZelda, and we had the nod from the checker first go. GDZ says "Let's go!", but we're not using public transport. Besides, she can't travel on the buses. We arrive within 50m of GZ, and before I know it, she's out of the car and racing me to get there first. I'm too old to keep up with a 9yo, and as I got there she has already stamped the log and put the cache back. She was adamant I had to find it myself, and sign it myself, and so the FTF had been "stolen" by a true hound. "Three seconds makes you second", she says! Oh well, you snooze, you lose! Thanks for a logical puzzle that makes sense to solve. I have travelled some of those bus routes over the years, particularly the ones around GZ, from when I grew up not too far away. Ok, you can have a FP, since GDZ can't give them out. TFTC
[FTF] @ 11:25 with Brewmaker. We couldn't go on a bus to GZ, but we got there in time to beat any other hounds out there today. Thanks for the puzzle, so I can claim a monthly FTF. TFTC
