Great to attend the Meet and Greet for Colo River event here and to join in on all the chatter of caching exploits. Not to mention a bit of planning here and there of even more exciting adventures.Let the good times roll Thanks Kittykatch for organising
It was great to see so many friendly cachers at this event today. Lots of chat and plans made for tomorrow's paddle.
A nice event for a Friday afternoon. Once again, I think the Canberra cachers outnumbered the Sydney cachers here! Thanks Kittykatch for the event!
What a great event. Lovely to catch up with everyone and then onto a delicious dinner.Great event thanks for organising Kittykatch
It was great to meet up with some of the locals and the Sydney crowd. The time has come for the Great Colo River adventure. I managed to get away from home about 10am as I have made a list of caches that I would love to find on the way up.The weather is glorious - sunny, warm and a slight breeze - just perfect for caching! However, not the same can be said for the traffic and I admit it made me adjust my list. Also it confirmed why I don't like living in the city. I arrived at the evening's event in good time, having enjoyed a successful day's caching as there were no DNFs. I even had time to start some ALs along the way. A huge thanks to all the COs who contributed to this fantastic game. This was one of the caches that I found and signed.
Drove up from Canberra to make it just in time. Then onto the pub for some fish n chips and a beer. Ready to go for a day's paddle tomorrow on the Colo. TFTE Kk

TFTC.Today was a trip to Windsor, Sydney to join a group of cachers from Hunter, Sydney and Canberra to kayak the Colo River.Prior to this trip I managed a walk through the back hills of Ginninderry. The day finished with an event in Windsor.Amazing turnout for this one. With a weekend trip up in the area, we arrived late afternoon to meet for an event, dinner and a bit of caching. Great to see so many from Canberra join the Hunter and Sydney region cachers for it.

Attended with minniek and a whole bunch of Cachers from near and far. What a great turn out. After we loaded up the KiaVan this afternoon for the weekends kayaking and caching we hit the highway, and got to this event nicely on time. Stood around chatting about all things Geocaching - mostly about tomorrows paddle - then headed over to the wonderful old pub for a dinner and a beer. A lovely event to kick off the weekends adventures. Thanks Kittykatch !!
I totally forgot a out a meeting I have at 5.30 in Parramatta, and by the time I am done with this and get here, the event would well and truly be over, see you all Saturday morning.
Looking forward to a start the weekend of adventures with this meet and greet. Thanks Kittykatch for organising!
I'll come to catch up with everyone and meet anyone I haven't previously met before tomorrows Colo river events.
Looking forward to meeting you guys.Ill be up early on Saturday morning for the Kayak side of things
I am planning on heading up here for the paddling the next morning, and hopefully I can make it this far in time for this event as well ... as long as I can juggle things so I am somewhere with phone reception for a phone meeting in the early afternoon, and organise myself enough to be able to go away for a weekend when I have too many things making me too busy
I'll be there! Looking forward to this opener for a weekend of camping, kayaking and caching.
I will be in the area and will try my best to make this event and meet other cachers, Thanks for hosting KittyKatch
