Logs
Wouldn't like to extract this one on a busy day. Thank goodness all quiet on this watch.
We always love visiting Puketutu Island, especially if there is a cache or two to find, and today was a real treat as there were three new ones along the trail. This was the first and it was a reasonably quick find although not quick enough for Mrs Coblet as she became the target of some hungry mosquitos and began slapping herself all over to try and stop their rampage. It reminded Mr Coblet of an incident with ants along the nearby Watercare Coastal Walkway a few years back where a swarm shot up Mrs Coblet's leg leading to an unexpected display of highland dancing. Mrs Coblet wasn't very receptive to Mr Coblet's attempt to reminisce at this stage and just wanted to escape the swarm so gave him a look which loosely translated to "Please speed up the search or these mosquitoes won't be the only things getting slapped", followed by a description of something he didn't quite understand but sounded rather painful. Thankfully the cache was spotted shortly afterwards and no action needed to be taken. The log was soon signed and we were on our way leaving the pesky mosquitoes behind, and Mr Coblet unharmed.Very nice cache by the way, not quite what we expected and very clever. A favourite point from us.Thanks G-2
Nothings better than a nice calming bike ride. Last time we were here this cache haven't been published yet but now it's time to get this cache. Relatively easy find with the hint. Now fly away butterfly !Tftc
Sunday morning bike rides are perfect for collecting caches, especially when its early and no one is around. Biking around Puketutu Island today. TFTC.
Nice one. Visited while passing by on my bike. No logging yet. Will do when needed. Cheers!
Sweet as! I'm absolutely giddy about this {FTF} ! It's my first one that isn't associated with an event. I'm on foot/bus and on holiday in Auckland. Thanks for placing this out at exactly the right time for me!
