I found this cache on an early start to a wet Saturday morning. With the rain a bit heavier now, I was getting an answer, going under a tree to write it on the pad, out again for the next one till I had the answer. As I was getting the clues together, I noticed a tractor lawn mower cutting the grass about a hundred metres or so from WP1. Not sure why they were cutting the grass on a Saturday morning and in the rain yet, but I knew that with our usual geocaching luck, that the cache was going to be right there, right where this unlikely Saturday morning rainy event was happening. Imaging my surprise when it was exactly in the opposite direction. What? This never happens. But I'll take it. This is what it must be like for other geocachers. The cache was soon in the bag and I was off once more. This was our 6th cache find in this park. Thanks from D B-A
Find number 14675 at 11:06:19am on Wednesday the 27 November 2024Out to visit me doctor this morning, seems to occur more often asyou get older , well at least I get to go geocaching on the way home, hmmm, maybe I should find a doctor in South Morang, or Bacchus Marsh, or Vanuatu Anyway...Nice to see a little bit of history about an area, interesting to imagine how a place has changed over the years. Quick solve and find.**Thanks for placing this cache ahomburg**---*WOW, so much happening at home in Victoria*Dont forget to log your will attend for Victorias first ever Block Party in March 2025, the [**The Sunbury Event**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).Theres also all those lists of amazing geocaches at [Geocaching Victorias List webpage]( https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists), go check them out.
I enjoy walking around this area so was very happy to have a reason to come back and collect the new multi's here. Everything went smoothly with the calculations and find.
Found with icw. It's difficult to image what this location was like during early European settlement. Now with the plantings of indigenous trees, shrubs and under-storey local birds and frogs are returning. Tftc.
A very easy find withafter doing the puzzle which provided me with an interesting insight to the original land use. TFTC
Out and about today collecting a few caches. I stopped to grab this Multi after crunching a few numbers. The discussion over our suspicion that ahomburg is plotting a challenge cache or 2 around multies is strong.. lol..this area has so much potential..
After finding the puzzle cache, I headed towards this multi. The sign was read and the information was collated. Coordinates were calculated and the nice bright cache was found without any problems. This track is such a nice place for a walk.
Out and about today on the weekend enjoying the weather and the cache hunting. After a couple of FTFs we headed back to a familiar area for this and a couple of other new ones that had popped up. Another we been right near earlier but the FTF hunt took priority. Thanks ahomburg for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
Out and about with omegaman, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today. I had another appointment at Vic Rehab in Glenwaverly so I messaged Omegaman for a lunch time catch up and to grab a few of the new caches in the area. Thanks ahomburg for the cache.
Found at 20:03After collecting the required information I took a stroll along the track. Before I knew it I was at gz and quickly spotted the container. Thanks ahomburg for the cache
Was great to see this new multi pop up near home. Needed a cache to fill a calendar spot- this was ideal. Great minds obviously think alike, parked my car and recognised a nearby car. Strolled to the cache where skylizard was collecting the info. I did my own collection and calculation and after comparing notes we strolled down to the gz. A quick find after a pleasant walk.TFTC ahomburg
