With an enthusiastic group turning up it wasnt long until the gloves and garbage bags were put to use, it was amazing how many cigarette butts were littered around with the usual rubbish including one uncapped syringe. The team soon had the area cleaned and we spent some time swapping stories for a while. Many thanks to the COs for hosting, see you at the next one

Thanks dat87 for organising this fun CITO event. Its not everyday you see people having fun and enjoying picking up rubbish. The area looks so much better after our activity. Looking forward to catching up with everyone at our next event.
Thank you everyone for attending and helping to clean up our beautiful city. We were quite surprised to see so many cigarette butts in this area but after our groups effort, the Cairns Cruiser Liner Park is much cleaner ??????
