We did have a blast around bicentennial park today, this helped my step count up towards 20k.Also managed to check up on my caches out there, thanks for the AL and especially having a bonus is awesome
#15369 16:25A few hours of geocaching with Martin Cousins around SOP before attending the GeoBanQuest at the Silverwater hotel.A nice AL in a beautiful park and a bonus as a reward.TFTC gavingo4!
Found after a very enjoyable walk around the park. Thanks to gavingo4 for the bonus cache.
Continued on our wanderings around the park after completing the Adventure Lab to find this bonus cache. Cache all good. SLRC as found. TFTC gave.
A lovely AL that takes you on a nice walk or cycle around the park. GZ is muggle central on a busy Sunday afternoon. Need to be stealthy on retrieval as the muggles can be a mere 5m from you. Nice hide.
Well Geocaching is not what I had planned for today. When one of my geobuddies contacted me this morning I decided to come over here to Bicentennial Park, again, I'm always here. This is the best park in Sydney, after Centennial Park. It's got lovely walks, plenty of different habitats, lots of birds - migratory wading birds love it and it's cool on a hot day as there's plenty of shade. You can even take dogs into most parts of the parkland. It's just a fabulous park. I even know some sneaky parking spots and would recommend parking in the P10 carpark near Lake Belvedere for a central spot to walk to all waypoints. When this new AL and bonus was published late yesterday, I decided I would use Sydney Rail and catch a train to Concord West, rather than drive. It gave me a chance to read my book, and not worry about the traffic. It was a short walk to my first WP. Jackscruff offered to join me, and so we made good work of the AL. Each WP was at an interesting location, some of which I had visited when completing one of the "Survivor" series field puzzles. After completing a very interesting AL, we headed over to GZ for a quick find as the hint made sense on approach. Soon after the CO rang and I was able to tell him how much I enjoyed the AL It was a pleasant walk around Bicentennial Park. It's been a long time since I have been here. It was worth the return visit. Next time I will bring GeodogZelda so she can enjoy the dog park and the many sights and smells of this fantastic location. TFTC and TFTAL.
Thanks for a new AL Series in Syd, and for this Bonus Cache. FP for the series and Bonus! TFTC gavingo4
Joint [FTF] @ 20:29 with GeoLorikeet and GeoGooseAU | We saw the AL published and quickly headed out to search for it. After completing the AL, we received the green light from Certitude and made our way to the final for a quick find. A FP Awarded for bringing us to such a beautiful park. | TFTALs and TFTC gavingo4
