An early morning meet-up for our weekend 4WD excursion with the Canberra Crew. Our Gang of Four gathered the info around the station, then headed to GZ for a quick find. Have a FP. TFTC
An early start to the day, walk through the waypoints with Its_Dozzie, Everest High and Brewmaker.All before the rain hit, how this place has changed over the years, thanks for the multi and quick find at GZ.
A pleasant multi with straightforward questions and nice numeric answers. Cool. The cache was nicely tucked away in an obvious spot but well hidden from muggles. Thankyou Curliebunny666Now, off to Chemist Discount to get some new anti-BS tablets. The last script didn't work, so the Doc upped the strength.
Friday caching with oldmorty. Today, we are in the Campbelltown area.Penultimate cache for the day.Oldmorty and I arrived at GZ and noted the initial information required.We then moved downstairs to get the rest.I'm so happy the checker approved our entry as it had been a long, hot day.Found the cache in a familiar location.Thanks, Curliebunny666, for this SideTracked cache.
Frazeydaze and I headed down to Campbelltown today to hunt down some caches that had been placed since our last visit here. This was the last cache of the day and were pleasantly surprised when we got agreement with the checker first time as we were a bit hot and tired by this time of the day. Cache all good. SLRC as found. TFTC Curliebunny666.
As usual, puzzle caches do my head in. But while out doing some maintenance scouting for a troublesome hide, I had the opportunity to obtain the information for this hide.so I thought. After a round one fail, the CO offered some guidance, so off I went to check the error of my ways. Re did the calculations and this time had it right. But it didnt end there.I waited until late to go and take a look, but surprised to be muggled out by a carload parked too close for comfort. So next day I tried twice during the day only to pick a time when a train had pulled in and lots of very slow walkers made it impractical. So next day, I once again went late and this time almost had a clear run, but managed to perform the required duties. Certainly an exercise in patience for me!
After connectivity issues I collected all the information on a walk around the area and backtracked for the find. TFTC.
Ah. I nearby SideTracked cache to enjoy and add to the tally.With pen in hand and paper at the ready I collected the required answers with a bit of a decoy but the answer was revealed with a nearby location.I enjoyed reading the history of the station which I remembered from living nearby. I wonder if they will electrifythe line further south with lots of urban development happening.Have a favourite from me.
