Thanks to all who have found this cache over the years, it is now time to put this one to bed permanently, as it has had a very good run.
And a big thank you to Biggles Bear for having the foresight to provide us with such a fabulous cache over the years. It became an institution that will be hard to follow. We stand and applaud you. Happy New year everyone, stay happy and keep on cachin'
Why can't you play cards in the jungle?

Merry Christmas !
I was intending to drop by after work but a combination of reading the cache page properly and being hideously early for work today meant I am here at 7am.
I swapped my cracker (a pirated one from the US with Anthropologie on it and altered to be more Geo friendly) with a rather squashed one.
I'm glad to have been able to get to this one.

Tonight paige and I brought some crackers along and made a swap. I showed Paige the 2 for 1 she could grab just round the corner, and while she signed that log, I dropped a tb and put everything away. This is our first go at this cache, hope to see it in some form next year. Thanks for the cache, a super idea, we walked up the street to grab another cache and cracked our crackers there, and read the riddles.
Q. What's a pilot's favourite flavour of potato chips...?
A. Plain (of course)

A. Plain (of course)
Leaving my run a little late I wasn't sure that I would be in a position to return for another try. As it turned out I was able to visit and happily located the now familiar container. Pulling out a small silver cracker I popped in my Christmas coloured cracker.
Here is the obligatory joke, and one that I can safely say I have not heard before.
Q. When do spare parts from Japanese cars start falling out of the sky?
A. When it's raining Datsun cogs.
Merry Christmas to all cachers and thanks to Biggles Bear for the cache.

Another year to snap crackers with Murray, Debbie and Fiona. It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas.
Onto the joke...
Why can you never play jokes on snakes?
You can never pull their legs.
Thanks for the many good years of this cache...!

This was my 13th year at doing this cache. I was with Kiwideb, Alan-san and Aussie Girl Fee as thist has become a Christmas tradition.
After taking and leaving a cracker, I read my joke, but none of it got it. Perhaps it has lost something in translation:
Joke: Why don't Elephants like Penguins
Answer: They can't get the wrappers off
If anyone can explain it to me, I'd love to know.
I enjoyed this cache and it wouldn't be the same without it. I hope it stays. My thanks to Biggles Bear for the cache once more.

Why do golfers wear two pairs of trousers?
In cas he got a hole in one.....
Biggles Bear thanks for the cache and the many years of fun we have got out of it. I wish you both a very Merry Christmas and a fantastic new year.

Nice cache, easy to find. Was pleasantly surprised with the size of the cache and a number of crackers in there.
Left a cracker and a transformer car, got a cracker.
The text inside:
"What do you call a crate of ducks?
A box of quackers."
Merry Christmas!

Eeek, we're running out of days, we better do the Crackerjack cache tonight! OK, ready, let's go... oh wait a minute, we don't have any christmas crackers!!
Ok, quick stop at Woolworths for a box of 8 and on our way ...
You know.... we may have done over 3000 caches now, but we're still newbies that go through a comedy of errors to get to a cache!!
1. Even though we read the cache page and saw where we had to go, silly us put the listed co-ords in the car GPS
2. The car GPS has Toll avoidance switched on but still wanted us to go on City Link!
3. We put the (listed) co-ords in the hand held GPS - It was having conniptions and oscillated between a few km and 14 THOUSAND km to GZ !!!
4. The car GPS kept recalculating about 14000 times as we made our untolled way to GZ
5. We then realised the listed co-ords were not GZ - der and put in the correct address, the car GPS told us "serial equalisations require external power" ... ummm what??? And "switching off in 15 seconds"
6. I said to GMelb "Maybe God doesn't want us to go to GZ, maybe we're going to find a dead body there!!!" lolol
7. Hand held still oscillating!
We finally arrived and quietly made our way to GZ and found the extra large stash, left our spotty crackers, signed the log and groaned over the jokes lol
Thanks for the fun, I hope someone else continues this tradition for you coz we have 6 more crackers to swap!!
Photos to be attached - GJMMelb (minus MMelb who is in Laos)
Whoops, nearly forgot the jokes ...
Q: What do you call a man with a paperbag on his head A: Russell
Q:Why didnt the skeleton go to the New Years Party? A: He had no body to go with
GROAN Oh... and thankfully No Dead Body!! lol

Catching up on some late logs after the busy christmas season.
Out with The Drovers, Micaparamedic and The Coffee's we were working our way to Wyndham Lights. This is our 9th year finding this cache and this year we were rewarded with a catch up with one of th owners as well. After adding our name to the log and exchanging christmas crackers we had a great chat about all things caching. We cannot remember the joke we got out of the cracker but did read it in front of the owner so hopefully this counts. We are sad that this is the last year but if it is we have really enjoyed finding it each past year, it has become a tradition for us.
Thank you and Merry Christmas to Biggles Bear.

With 4 teams in 2 vehicles, we headed off for a great day of caching, and lots of food stops.
The other 3 teams being - Team Crackers, The Coffee's & micaparamedic.
We spent most of the day in the western suburbs of Melbourne, as we planned to do Crackerjack &
Wyndham Lights. which are only available for a short time each year.
Some of the caches were signed as MCCD.
Arrived at GZ, for a quick find. Had a chat to the CO, while discharging crackers, and telling jokes.
Q. Why can't you play cards in the jungle?
A. There are too many cheetahs.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Biggles Bear, for us and others to find.

Found at 2345(ish). After a road trip with SirJ-Oz, his Good Lady Wife, skirrel and the youngest geocachelette to view the Wyndham Lights, we decided to swing by on the way home and grab another compulsory requirement of any Christmas visit down south.
It had been a long night and the youngest members of the posse were much less enthusiastic (and far more narcoleptic) than at the start of the trip, so SirJ and I were left to make the find - which was nice and quick thanks to some subtle clues provided in the hint. [:o)]
We swapped crackers, but decided that quarter-to-pumpkin probably wasn't the best time to set off loud 'bangs' in a slumbering suburb, so we retreated to the car and headed for home, so the kids could finally crawl into bed and the bigger kids could spend another 3 hours roaming Monash Uni's Clayton campus looking for caches - because apparently you can't have too much of a good thing!
Thanks for the cache Biggles Bear, really hoping to keep the tradition going next time I'm down for Christmas.
The cracker contained a red crepe hat, a small yellow plastic comb (we're still debating whether it's for elves, moustaches or lice!) and a cringe-worthy joke:
"Why are ghosts so bad at lying?"
"You can see right through them"

Find #1624. Found @ 23:45 with AmethystPig, skirrel, The Good Lady Wife and youngest geocachelette.
This is my fifth year of visiting to swap crackers, a must do on the festive activity calendar.
With AmethystPig's arrival in town for a visit, a visit to the festively themed caches (this one and a most illuminating cache) was slotted into the schedule. Combined with the last day of school and the little ones were both buzzing with excitement and already overtired. A risky combination, although by the time we arrived here after viewing the lights, the contingent in the back seat were either asleep or wanted to be.
Piggie and I made our way to the specified location with many crackers to swap. Collectively we put 6 in and took 5 out.
I'll include the four jokes obtained from the crackers pulled by my clan.
Skirrel's joke
Q: Why didn't the skeleton go to the New Year's Eve party?
A: He had nobody to go with.
Youngest Geocachelette's joke
Q: What do you get if you cross a stereo with a refrigerator?
A: Cool music
The Good Lady Wife's joke
Q: Why do birds fly south in winter?
A: Because it's too far to walk.
SirJ-Oz's joke
Q: What do you call a boomerang that doesn't come back?
A: A stick
Took crackers, left crackers, signed log and visited some trackables (including my Biggles Bear GeoCoin).
Thanks for the cache Biggles Bear, it'll be sad to see this festive tradition go.

A bit of a Xmas caching tradition coming here to find this cache which I have visited on almost every year since 2006.
A familiar spot again this year and once again the old container was there for this, the last time.
Q. What falls but doesn't hurt itself?
A. Snow
Thanks Biggles Bear

Eldest geoson was excited about finding the crackerjack this year; as last year I'd made the find without him... we ventured out on bikes on a Friday morning, and made the find easily enough - great tradition! Cracker were exchanged for the following pearler:
Q. what to you give a man who has everything?
A. Antibiotics
... this took some explaining to 8yo geoson.

This is my first Christmas caching so really pleased to find this historic cache. If this really is to be the final iteration (and I certainly hope that it's not) then I am just relieved that I did mange to get in in time. I was in the area so planned a bike visit by here. I swung by a major chain store first to ensure I had the requisite items to swap. No problem with making the find and I recall that I had been near here recently for something else. Left reindeer and santa crackers and took a couple that were more tastefully decorated. The joke's on me:
Why are ghosts no good at setting geocaching puzzles?
Because you can see right through them.
Thanks for the cache Biggles Bear and for keeping this one going for so long. A favourite from me.

Thanks do this cache. Our second year for this cache. Very appropriate contents for me. See photo attached. Thanks Biggles Bear.
Our second year finding this cache. Love the idea, we would be disappointed if it was to cease. Caching with Tomstache, we exchanged our cracker and left some extras in the excess container. Thanks for this innovative cache. Photo attached of joke and token. Took TB. Thanks Biggles Bear.
Found with Ali J (The Arborist), C@H and Spladem. A special find this one. I got the message at 10am Going to get crackerjack, pick you up in 10. I was still in bed!!!! (Don't ask - it was a much needed sleepin). So i get myself going and get picked up and off we go, gradually waking up as we drove in. We arrived with The Arborist navigating and she got us to a car park right outside the right spot. A quick search and the crackers were found. Why was this such a special cache???? Well The Arborist chose it as the very first cache she as been able to sign FOR HERSELF!! (Photo attached) Congratulations Ali on successful surgery that has changed your life so much. Thanks for the cache and this special experience!

It was great to continue the tradition of visiting this cache in the weeks before Christmas. Today was our 9th visit and once I worked out that the coordinates didn't provide a cache nor a clue we returned to a familiar location and found the expected container (and it's overflow).
s-facit had the job of selecting the cracker to replace with ours while I penned a log. We cracked the cracker while returning to the car and enjoyed a collective groan as she read the joke
Q. What did Santa say when his toys misbehaved?
A. Toys will be toys
Thanks Biggles Bear for a Christmas Tradition that will be missed if this indeed is The Final Iteration

Found by Mary & David at 1830. A city appointment gave us the opportunity for our 13th annual Crackerjack pilgrimage. We arrived fairly late in the afternoon, and there were only a couple of passing muggles, so we didn't need to wait too long for the chance to grab that very familiar container. We exchanged our crackers and retreated to the GeoPrado to check out the contents of the one we retrieved. We found a pink hat and the obligatory joke:
Q. Why should you be careful when washing trainers?
A. They might run.
This cache has been a key part of our Christmas build-up for so long now that we'll be very sorry to see it go in future. We wish a very merry Christmas to Biggles Bear, and also to cachers everywhere. May there be many more caches for us all to find in a happy and rewarding 2015. Our thanks for the memories to Biggles Bear.

I decided to drop by this cache earlier this year for a change unlike my usual last minute rush.....like I do with the Christmas shopping! This was my 3rd year of looking for the Crackerjack, which I enjoyed so much over the last few years that I'll be disappointed if it no longer exists.
I headed to this cache after finding a couple of caches at the Botanical Gardens. I think my Montana GPSr had consumed too much Christmas bubbly because it wanted to take me on a 10 km circuitous route down freeways and busy roads even though I was only a km or 2 away. Luckily I knew the way as some geofriends live only a few doors from BB.
I parked my car in Yarra Blvd and wandered over to GZ. After a brief search I found the cleverly camo'd container and signed the log at 5:50 pm. I left a Corunnaroad TB and a cracker with some cute cats on it and took a bright blue cracker that contained a large pink paper clip, a yellow hat and the following joke (for intellectuals I think!):
Q. When is a boat like a pile of snow? A. When it's adrift. [:o)]
Thanks Biggles Bear for all the festive fun over the 10 years of The Crackerjack. Best wishes for Christmas and hoping you and the rest of the caching community have a cracker of a 2015.

A. Hide all the chairs.
hmmmm..........
Thanks again Biggles Bear.

I don't do very many caches these days but, when this time of year rolls around I always seem to remember it's time for this one to come back and, as the Bear hangar isn't very far from work, it seems a good opportunity to keep my eye in.
My 10th visit this time and an easy find in a familiar location. After making the requisite cracker swap, I headed off to work and indulged in the traditional cracker-pull - from which I came up with the following beauty (groan) -
[green]Q. What do you give a man who has everything?
A. Antibiotics![/green]
Merry Christmas everyone and, considering this may be the last invocation of this cache, all the best to the Bears in whatever they may be up to next.

Saw this one was back for the festive season. Rather than doing the usual thing and buying some crackers, trixie&toby was making some from a kit we bought a few weeks ago so I asked her to make some geocaching themed crackers - let's just say the cracker is hiding a small present for the "cracker" to enjoy. Trixie&toby and I headed this way after lunch today for the quick find, swapped our special crackers for two other ones. Thanks heaps to boggles bear for this one again and for putting the extra cracker storage!
Found this one again with littlemerpip - the joke was
Why did the chewing gum cross the road?
because it was stuck to the chicken!!!!!
left a christmas cracker I made!!!!!!!!

It's that time of year yet again, and we enable this cache for what in all likelihood will be it's final incarnation.

I was not too far away when I saw the email so I decided to drive across. After stopping nearby to buy some crackers I was soon at GZ where I signed the logbook then exchanged my gold cracker for a small purple one.
Inside was a dodgy popper, a white crown, some Christmas stickers and the following joke.
Why do cows lie down in in the rain?
To keep each udder dry.
Thanks Biggles Bear for the cache. This is only my second time finding this so I'll be sorry to see it go.

Out and about tonight with Team-Ruphace and WazaR.
We stopped at Woolies on the way to purchase a box of crackers.
After completing a nearby Wherigo in Hawthorn we drove here to swap crackers with you.
The cache was retrieved and I swapped out a white cracker with [green] holly [/green] on it and replaced it with a [purple]purple[/purple] one with [gold]gold polka dots.[/gold]
As I sit here wearing an [orange]orange paper crown[/orange], playing with my [blue]blue plastic spinning top [/blue], having a chuckle...
Q. How do you keep cool at a football match?
A. You stand next to a fan!!
Took a cracker, left a cracker.
Thank you and a Merry Christmas to you and your family Biggles Bear.

As has been the tradition with this cache over the last Twelve years, this cache will be re-activated on or around December 1st this year.
Thanks to my Geocaching friends I was able to swap my first treasure on New Year's Eve 2013!
'Why did the golfer wear two pairs of trousers?...In case he got a hole in one!'
PS. My cracker also included a small pen which I will be able to use on future finds.

Finally Spiffy- Muttley and I made our way to get this cache. TFTC.

I tried to gather the first clue a couple of weeks ago but it had been muggled. Armed with the clue today my buddies finally got their act into gear with obtaining their crackers and we headed off at lunchtime.
On arrival got to park right nearby and after a short search found the container.
I swapped by average sized cream coloured cracker for a similar sized but much prettier gold and white cracker covered with snowflakes.
My buddies swapped their crackers as well and I got a set of red plastic lips and a red hat which was incredible because it matched the colour of my T-Shirt and shorts. (I didn't want to scare people and put in a photo though).
For such a nice looking cache it had quite an ordinary joke (what a surprise!) which was :
Q: What do you call two robbers?
A: A pair of knickers.
Groan... but an excellent concept for a cache and I'll no doubt be back next year for another hat and some more jokes.
Thanks for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

#389 TFTC... took a while to track this one down... must have had my daddy eyes on, but once the other half got out of the car where they were waiting for me, they made a quick find. Got some stickers, a yellow hat and a terrible joke in my cracker
On the way from Vermont to Goughs Bay via Richmond for a well earned holiday.
In Richmond to pick up my wife's cousin, Oh and to pick up a cache.
Found the way to the final and got muggled by the CO in the process. Nice cache and enjoyed the chat and hope to catch up again on the road.
Exchanged Bon-Bon.
Thanks for the cache and the chat Biggles Bear

Knowing that there were only a few days left before this cache would be disabled, I thought I would look for it today while I had a spare moment. This was my 2nd year of looking for the Crackerjack, which I enjoyed so much last year. [^] I found the final cache co-ords fairly quickly at the given co-ords and headed off to find the cache. After a brief search I spotted the cleverly camo'd container and signed the log at 6:00pm.
I left a cracker with a cute cat on it and took a cracker that had a santa sticker, an orange hat and the following joke:
Q. What do you call a crate of ducks? Answer: A box of quackers.
I was just about to return the cache to its hiding spot when I noticed some muggles approaching rapidly. One suddenly called out "You're caching too, aren't you?" It was team Glanville Girls for my 28th in-the-field meeting of another team. We chatted for a while. It's always great to meet other cachers.
Thanks Biggles Bear for the festive fun. Best wishes for Christmas and hoping you and the rest of the caching community have a cracker of a 2014.

Yay! After visiting the first waypoint prior to Christmas, we headed out today in the hope that the cache would still be in place. What a great concept for a cache. We met ladyoactive at GZ and had a little chat as we swapped crackers and signed the log. We took a giant cracker out to free up some space and replaced it with a much more modest sized one.

Found this one tonight. This is my first attempt at this cache having not been aware of it before now. It took a little while to locate the final after the initial waypoint was located very easily - I am not sure it is in the right place but then it took ages to locate the final GZ. I started off searching in the wrong place and then got to the right place eventually and swapped my battered well travelled white cracker (it had been to Tasmania recently with me) for a silver cracker with red Merry Christmas on it. I haven't managed to open the cracker yet but will follow up with the joke from the cracker once it is opened.
Thanks for the cache and the fun Biggles Bear.

Visited by Facitman, Mrs Fact and s-facit at 21:15
I selected a cracker and put it aside a few weeks ago so I would be ready for another trip to the boulevard! This year was our 8th Crackerjack visit with our first way back in 2004. Tonight s-facit took the opportunity to add some time in her logbook by driving us in style and after a familiar walk through the bush we moved on to the final location and soon had the container in hand. s-facit selected the cracker to take as we inserted our offering before returning the cache to its hide.
s-facit and I cracked the cracker as we walked back to the car. A nail brush will come in handy and.....
"Why can't you play jokes on snakes?"
"Because you can't pull their legs."
Thanks Biggles Bear for continuing this grand Christmas tradition, and Season's Greetings to all cachers"

This was my 12th year at doing this cache, and along with Kiwideb, Alan-san and Aussie Girl Fee, it has become a Christmas tradition We met up at the normal starting location, then jumped in my car to head off to GZ, where the cache was quickly found.
We each took and left a cracker.
Joke: What kind of cough medicine does Dracula take?
Answer: Coffin medicine.
The jokes don't get any better, but the fun and frivolity doing this and Wyndham Lights certainly does. As always, I enjoyed this cache and it wouldn't be the same without it. My thanks to Biggles Bear for the cache once more.
PS I logged this earlier today, but it hasn't appeared so I am logging again.

A late entry, but on the 23rd Muzza, Kiwideb, Fiona and I descended upon the cache for another crack at Christmas. This year's cracker joke is "Why did the bull wear a bell? Because her/his horn didn't work."
Thanks Biggles for another Crackerjack.

Ha ha... You'd think that with over 2000 caches under our belt, we'd be better prepared for doing this one lol... First of all we wrote down the listed co-ords to input into the car GPS & didnt even think to look for parking co-ords so our car GPS was having conniptions... It was telling us to go on Citylink even tho we have "avoid tollways" ticked. This was coz it thought the cache was accessable from the sliproad off Citylink. We knew better and finally got to Yarra Boulevarde.
So we parked a bit further away as there were too many cars & motorbikes & a bus in the closer parking bay. We headed bush so we couldnt be seen and when we were about 45 metres from GZ..... The BATTERIES DIED & we of course had no spares, not even in the car as we had only brought the GPS, not the caching bag. Anyway we kept walking to a guessed rough area and GMelb spotted the info pretty quickly thankfully!! We tried turning the GPS back on & GMelb got halfway thru inputing the co-ords when it turned off again. By this time JMelb hd fired up C:Geo on the phone but we hdn't used it like this before... So whilst JMelb was fiddling with that GMelb managed to get the co-ords input into the GPS & so we realised what we had to do. On the way there JMelb eventually worked out what to do to be able to navigate to input co-ords in C:Geo. Now at GZ GMelb's GPS was saying one spot & JMelb's phone said another spot & very surprisingly the phone was right!! Cache located, now another tricky bit... We had a rather large white with a purple christmas tree cracker to put in, whilst taking a medium size out lol. We stuffed ours in lol & then did the deed with the one we took out. Out popped a red hat & the following joke:
What goes Ha ha ha ...thump ...
A man laughing his head off
(groan!!)
TFTC Biggles Bear ... despite the obsticles we got here in the end & really this adventure epitomises an average day of caching for us ... There's always something going on!!! lol Merry Christmas to you from us - GJMMelb ( fave point from us for the Christmas fun!! )

Another tradition continues and we look forward to the cache every year. Today was a good day and in the company of Micaparamedic and Team Crackers we mad our way to the cache location. It was not long before we had the required clues and we headed to the cache to add another year. After the logging duties were done we were lucky to be able to catch up with the CO for coffee and 43.
Our thanks again to Biggles for the cache and our joke is as follows:
Q: where should a dressmaker build her house?
A: On the Outskirts

The "its all about 43" Coffee's

Christmas isn't Christmas without visiting Crackerjack.
We were traveling with The Coffee's and had planned to meet Micaparamedic here and although we didn't end up finding the cache in the way it was intended we did get to add our names to the log and exchange a cracker. The best part was that we bumped into the cache owners and headed off together for a nearby coffee and chat. This also led to tasting of a drink whose name is one more than 42 and we have to admit before the day was finished we were the proud owners of a bottle which we shared with the England's later that night.
Our joke from the cracker was
Q. How does good King Wencelas like his pizza?
A. Deep pan,crisp and even.
Many thanks Biggles Bear for the cache, one we look forward to each year.

Found it on Saturday night with Landau351, Mrs Landau351, Mrs Iamapom and Woody the Geo-dog.
It is now a tradition that we all do this together, and so we had tea first at our house, where the garlic bread made by me was the highlight. Froze some for xmas, and I'm looking forward to consuming more then. Yum yum yum.
Anyway, arrived at the usual parking stop, and there was a man sitting outside his car, looking around and at us. Look, I think it is fair to say that this is "one of those" places. And as this was a warm night, the gentleman was looking for a friend. So, appropriately two balding middle aged men went off into the bushes together !
We found the necessary, and went off to the next spot to grab the physical cache. There was an oven... right there. But that wasn't the cache. GPSrs were all over the place, and then I spotted a likely looking spot and made the find.
Went back to the car to pull crackers. We left some very large fancy crackers, and took some really small, not so fancy ones.
"What do you call two thieves ?" "A pair of knickers".
Mmmmmm TFTC

21/12/2013 21:28 After the obligartory meal and chat with good friends Carl and Deb (iamapom). We went off in search of this cache prior to the Wyndham lights.
At GZ there was an odd man in the carpark. Just sitting by his car. I was told he later simply left. Carl had the torch this yea and I used the Samsung with c:geo to get to GZ. It's surprising what you forget with the passage of time. As a grabbed the pack of crackers (supplied by Carl & Deb) and headed to GZ only to find that it was an offset.. like last year. It was carl that spottd the clue. I stored the new co-ords and off we went. Being later than the last time we were here, we were ot hampered by muggles at all. It was Carl's keen eye that spotted the now familiar hide and I grabbed the cache.
Obligatory "groan" joke is;
"What do ghosts eat?
Goulash

We always enjoy doing this and returned for another crack this year. The whole family came along and after swapping our compact cracker for a green one, we wandered a little away before pulling it.
We ended up with a green plastic whistle and this little piece of comedic genius -
What is the best thing about deadly snakes?
They've got poisonality.
Thanks to Biggles Bear for the cache.

Second time lucky, stopped by on the bike in the searing heat! Found the clue this time then back on the bike. I left a green and gold cracker took a red polka dot one. a little plane party hat and obligatory bad joke:
What do you call a train loaded with toffee?
A 'chew chew' train.
...groan.
Great idea, TFTC Biggles Bear

Second go today on a very hot day. Clue was available and we were soon off to find the cache. Cache was found. Great camo. Dropped gingerbread Bon Bon, picked up gold Bon Bon. There was a blue hat, a penguin and the following joke:
What do you call two spiders that just got married?
Newly webs.
Thanks for the puzzle Biggles Bear. Looking forward to next year!

The clue was available on our second visit to the listed co-ordinates. We made the short drive to GZ, got a park easily and Geokid made the find. Great camo, great cache. We left a Bon Bon and picked up a silver one. There was a green hat, a green bug and a joke:
Why did the golfer wear two pairs of trousers?
In case he got a hole in one!
We really enjoyed this cache and look forward to hopefully finding it again next year. Thanks Biggles Bear.

Despite being a rather casual cacher these days, I guess the annual Crackerjack run is too ingrained in my thinking processes to forget, so I've had a cracker in my work bag for a week or so now, just waiting for a suitable morning to nip by on the way to work. Today was the day and a quick visit to a familar location soon had me keying in the co-ords for GZ, after which a somewhat longer search lead me to the familiar container for my 9th visit to this cache.
After performing the ritual cracker-pull with a friend at work, I was rewarded with the following fine joke -
[green]Q. What did the policeman say to his stomach?
A. You're under a vest.[/green]
Thanks again Biggles Bear and best wishes for the festive season to you and all the other geocachers out there.
PS. I didn't have any troubles with the initial clue, but the GPS was bouncing around a bit at the final and it wasn't until I had a think about where I was that I was able to zero in on the cache.

Spent some time at the published co-ords but were unable to find a clue. We had our crackers all ready. We hope we will e able to attempt again while it is still available.
We must have been over thinking this as we could not find it. We would like to try again as it looks like a fun cache.
It's definitely missing. A couple of hours ago I spent 30 minutes looking in around up and down and then contacted a previous finder since a difficulty 1.5 should be that hard right?
I now have a photo of the clue that I need and that massive clue was definitely not at the starting point after an explanation of where it was from a previous finder as well.

I discovered this cache last year but didn't get a chance to get out to find it. This year I knew it was coming so was more organised. On the way home from work today I was not running late (yet) so had a little time to stop for a look. After collecting the required information I made my way to gz where I found the cache after dodging a couple of dog walkers.
I exchanged an almost too large silver cracker for a small red and gold one which contained a yellow hat, a tiny blue cat and the following:
Q. What do you get if you cross a cow, a sheep and a goat?
A. A milky baa kid.
Thanks Biggles Bear for the cache and Merry Christmas everyone.

Found by Mary & David at 1600. This was our 12th annual Crackerjack ritual. After discovering the true coordinates we made our way to GZ and quickly located the familiar Crackerjack barrel. We swapped our red cracker for a green and gold one. Inside, after producing an excellent loud 'snap', we found a green car, a yellow hat and the inevitable corny joke:
Q. Why do birds fly south for the winter? A. Because they can't afford to take the train.
A very merry Christmas to Biggles Bear and to cachers everywhere. May there be many more caches for us all to find in 2014.

For the third year in a row this cache was on my radar when it was enabled - and for the third year in a row trixie&toby came along for the hunt. Got to the usual start place where the next phase was quickly found, then off to GZ. The hunt actually took a few minutes as there were severla places to look and a few dog walking muggles to wait for until the cache was finally spotted. T&T just loves th enext bit, swapping our overly large crackers for 2 smaller ones! Thanks heaps to biggles bear for keeping this one going (and this is unknown number 200 for me as well!)
As today we had the last game of basketball for my son right around from where I suspected ground zero may have been we made sure we had some crackers in the car ready for a swap.
After the game we obediently headed to the published coordinates and sure enough quickly found the instructions. Back to the car and we drove back and parked exactly where we had been for the game.
Swapped in five crackers for four small ones and took them home to enjoy.
Oh boy, we got some pearlers this year...
Q. What does a ghost have for dinner? Spooketti... Although I must confess that I thought it was going to be ghoulash
Q. What does a snow man like to do on his break? Chill
Q. What do you get off you eat Christmas decorations? Tinsellitis.
Q. What shouldn't you eat at Christmas? The crackers.
Thanks for the cache, or third time collecting this tradition.

Managed to get to this one in between real rain today, but still got my pants very wet once I got to GZ. Those plants know how to retain water! Swapped a coloured one for a small silver one.

Find #1259. Found @ 18:08.
I was thinking this morning on the way to work that this cache would be reanimated soon so I'd better carry a cracker with me just in case. Sure enough, it was but before I'd ransacked my cracker stash.
I quickly nipped out to a newsagents and grabbed a box of them with the intention of swinging past on the way home.
I even took a punt at the location of last year on the way through, but no luck.
Once at WP1, I grabbed the new directions and made my way there to find an "empty" log (for this year). Woot *FTF*.
I left my large cracker and swapped with a small purple one containing a hat, stickers and joke.
Q. What do you call a crate of ducks?
A. A box of quackers
EDIT: This is my fourth year of finding this cache, and the second time I have received that particular joke.
Took cracker, left cracker, signed log and visited some trackables including my FTF tracker.
Thanks again for the festive cache Biggles Bear. I look forward to this every year.

Found at 1445, crackers pulled at 1525. Brought my dad with me for this rather belated attempt at this one (I'll get him hooked yet! ), and after a quick stop at the starting coordinates where some familiar looking camo was waiting, we made our way to GZ.
I felt a little exposed during the search with so many windows staring down at me, and sure enough my worst fears were confirmed when during the initial foray I heard a door open behind me. A quick bail out of the garden and an attempt to look nonchalant obviously failed, as a voice uttered those dreaded words: 'Found it yet?'
Whaaaaa? [?] [?] [?]
Turns out I'd been sprung in my efforts by the CO(s), who gave a helpful nudge in the direction of the cache (so close!) then hung around for the usual mini-event that happens when cachers meet in the wild.
I'd learned from last visit's 'oversized cracker' incident and come prepared with a handful of more suitably scaled ones. Apart from the cracker swap, I also received a couple of pathtags in exchange for a couple of mine I'd given at the 'Third Leap' event at the start of the year.
Thanks for the cache, the chat and the pathtags Biggles Bear(s) - here's what we got:
Cracker 1 - a pink plastic trumpet, a purple crepe paper crown, and a riddle / inspirational quote / horoscope / brainteaser:
Q: Where do you always find diamonds?
A: In a pack of cards
"There's nothing wrong in making a mistake - as long as you don't follow it up with an encore."
(I'll spare you the rest)
Cracker 2 - some kind of mutant green plastic duck, a yellow plastic crown covered in red stars, and a riddle:
Q: What do hedgehogs have for lunch?
A: Prickled onions
Boom tish! [:o)]
EDIT: This one was logged as find 888, which seems like a nice round number to finish the year on

Once again the New Year is upon us. So it's time to say thank you to all who completed this cache, last year.
I was wondering at one stage whether we would get to this tradition of Crackerjack this year due the long days and hours of work. However today was a lot of luck and timing that took past this cache on my way to an appointment in Kew.
I gathered the clues and in no time It clicked on where the cache would be and I was even more fortunate enough to have a close parking to GZ.
The cache was easily found and logged before I was on my way to my appointment.
Our sincere thanks again to Biggles For a Melbourne Caching Tradition.
Regards The Coffee’s
The Joke:
Who is Santa's favorite singer?
Elf-is Presley!

Our first year of caching so a must do! Wandered off between feasting on Xmas afternoon and had a nice little jaunt around the block and home to find this. Traded a cracker and picked up a TB - and a photo with TB's who are transiting with us for Xmas and New Year before another long adventure to cooler climes. Took cracker home to investigate and had the obligatory paper hat, some cards and a riddle: What kind of cough medicine does Dracula take? COFFIN MEDICINE.......
TFTC & Merry Christmas Biggles Bear.
TFTC & Merry Christmas Biggles Bear.
First off we would like to wish you both a very merry Xmas and a safe and prosperous New Year and a thank you for resurrecting this Xmas cache that we always enjoy finding. This is our tenth find of this cache, back n 2003 when we first looked for it it was our 40th cache find. Heading out on the freeway on the way to Portland we realized that we had forgotten to bring our Xmas cracker so off the next exit to find a supermarket to get what we needed. We pulled up at a familiar area and had no trouble finding wpt1 and collecting the required information. We were soon at gz and made a nice quick find. We swapped a red cracker with a silver one.
Our joke was
Where do snowmen go to dance?
To a snowball
Many thinks Biggles Bear, we hope to catch up early in the New Year

Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without a visit to this Cracker Cache. This year I was struggling to find a suitably small cracker to swap so on Christmas Eve I declared defeat and grabbed a fairly hefty example and headed to the posted co-ordinates. Arrived at the marked car park to find a bus parked and wondered if a group assault was in progress but I walked to a deserted GZ to find the instructions. Not too much later I was finding a familiar container for my 7th visit to The Crackerjack. Added my name to the long list of visitors and proceeded to carefully re-arrange the contents to fit my cracker in place for another large, but not quite as large, cracker.
s-facit joined me in cracking the cracker once I got home and is now the proud owner of a priceless yellow ring.
"What do you call a man with a spade on his head?"...........Doug.
Another side splitting joke.
Thanks Biggles Bear for a true Christmas tradition, and Season's Greetings to all cachers and best wishes for 2013

We ventured out in the heat this afternoon to return again this year. A slight detour and we were soon at GZ swapping our cracker.
What's furry and minty?
A Polo Bear
Wishing you a Merry Christmas.

We decided to hunt for this one during the day this year as we got sprung emerging from the bushes down by the Yarra by a car full of people in the car park a little past midnight last year! We'd stopped to do our daily cache on the way home from a Christmas function. Both of us dressed up, EB99 in heels and twigs in her hair! Must have been a sight to behold!
What do the reindeers hang on their christmas trees? Hornaments.
Now on towards the Wyndham Lights!

Out for a really hot afternoon of caching with our good caching buddies "Earthbounds" and this was definitely on the radar. Success was to be had in no time after a quick drive in-between. Took a cracker, left a cracker. TFTC.

I'd been too busy this week to find any caches so I took the opportunity to do this festive one. Got the offset co-ords and as I approached GZ I saw somebody kneeling down. It was David from team maccamob signing the log, for my 10th in-the-field meeting of another team. We chatted for a while. It's always great to meet another cacher, especially such an experienced one.
I signed the log at 5:40pm and left a cracker with a cute cat on it and Willowsage TB. I took the NZ Flag TB and a red cracker that had a shoe charm, a christmas carol (Come they told me, pa rum pum pum pum. A new born king to see, pa rum pum pum pum. Our finest gifts we bring, pa rum pum pum pum) and some intellectual trivia (not a joke):
Q. What was the name of the rock that the ancient kings of Scotland sat on to be crowned? 1. Rock of Kings, 2. Arthur's seat, or 3. Stone of destiny? Answer: The stone of destiny.
Thanks Biggles Bear for the festive fun. In fact this was my first Crackerjack cache as I only started caching at the beginning of this year. Best wishes for Christmas and hoping you and the rest of the caching community have a cracker of a 2013.

Found by Mary & David at 1737. A quick detour on our way to meet friends for dinner in Docklands. Once again we partake of the annual Crackerjack ritual - our eleventh time! Now we truly feel that the festive season has begun. We can proudly say that we have attended every year. Took a yellow bonbon with holly design, left a red one. Our new one contained an orange hat and small top, plus the inevitable joke:
Why did the jockey take his saddle to bed?
In case he had a nightmare!
An interesting twist this year. Special wishes for Christmas to Biggles Bear and to cachers everywhere. May there be many more caches to find for us all to find next year. Keep safe and happy! Our thanks to Biggles Bear.

Another part of Christmas Tradition ticked off, with Muzza, Deb and Fionia. For the amusement "What do you call a horse in his pyjamas? A Zebra. Thanks for another good one Biggles Bear.
This was my 11th attempt at this cache. (That's every year since its inception).
Like previous years, it was found in the company of Alan-san, Kiwideb, and Aussie Girl Fi. I took a cracker and left a cracker.
Joke: What's minty and furry
Answer: A Polo Bear.
Like all previous years, I enjoyed this cache as it has become part of my Christmas tradition, and it wouldn't be the same without it. My thanks to Biggles Bear for the cache once more.
