The area needs a cache, so, if it is archived, I am sure Butterfly_Lady and I will find a suitable close spot for a new cache.... Raglan View II ?
Planning a trip in the area, can this one be disabled until the owner gets a chance to maintain it. I see they live in England, so maybe a local could adopt this one?
Looked and looked and looked and looked, jumped back into the car and went back to Raglan to an internet cafe' to see that we wernt the only ones not to find this cache.
Read that it was suggested that this become a virtual cache, so we took a picture
Perhaps the cache owner could change this to a virtual cache?

Grabbed the co-ords to this cache but didn't look at the logs on the page. Got to the site - awesome view but couldn't find the cache. Even got down and dirty with a gorse bush but no luck. As Skweak mentioned, shoot back to Rags to check the logs and sure enough its been a no-go for a while.
SO
Treating this as a virtual cache and will upload a pic at the location

I stopped by here primarily for the view, assuming that the previous logs would mean a DNF. I gave the scrub at GZ a good bash and am pretty confident the cache is gone. The spot is good enough for a virtual cache, which might be easier given the heavy surfer-muggle traffic. They all stop here to spy the surf conditions at various spots before driving there. It was worth the DNF! TFTC
Ill be stopping by here in a few days on Route to Hokey Pokey-will have a look and advise on status
Down in Raglan visiting commanderlings on Xena... XC decided to introduce them to Geocaching... Once arrived at parking spot, oldest commenderling Daniel (10) was eager to find the "treasure"... Once shown the "hint" he was quick to find.
Few muggles around so took back to seat and opened for him.. showed him treasures.. he chose a dinosaur and young commanderling (Ben aged 4) took smiley balloon.
I placed in Mobile Dental Maintenance Kit..
Spoke to fellow biker who spotted us "hunting" may have another convert...
Waited till clear of muggles and replaced cache...
TFTC.
(Pencil needs sharpening.. and I didn't have sharpener on me..)

Hot sunny day...everyone has come to the beach including us...great view of Manu Bay and the best surf spot in NZ. Caught some big waves today...Judging by the number of log entries in such a prime spot, not many surfers do geocaching..Farewell to the lazy frog today as its time he moved on...will post a photo of him checking out the surf shortly
Just on a drive, showing some South Island friends around. Wanted to show off new toy, received yesterday. Noted that there was a cache nearby.... suddenly we were driving right by. Stopped on way back and found it!!!! Surprise. Someone had been there before us today.
In - Ring
Out - Lazy Frog TB - off to a more swampy location, of course! (noted - he arrived here earlier in the day, not logged yet)
Thanks for the fun. And to be able to show friends what it is all about!

The Maori Surf Champs were in town, and it was a great weekend of bike riding and relaxing. Managed to be lucky enough to pick up the cuckoo cache travel bug at this one also. Plan to move it on when racing around Taupo next weekend.
Man! What a view. Spend ages hunting thinking it was well hidden. My wife then pointed it out in a much easier hiding place! We took the carabina and left a bag of water-balloons. -have fun!
1.00pm. Rain cleared for us to find the cache and see the view. Clever use of numbers in the clue.
+ carabina
- Goofy & TB Nemo

Nice view over Manu Bay! Visited with three TB:s, but I only left one - TB Miles. Thanks for the cache!
Easily found. Great views indeed and don't forget the stroll down to the beach; great too! Camera was empty. No trade. Thanx from Holland.
Surf was lumpy so we decided to go find a cache instead. Found the cache with skysurfer. Took the surfsup travel bug.
Arrived here about 5 min before sunset. It was an absolutely stunning day – no wind or clouds so this was the perfect spot to be to watch the sun go down. I would recommend a special trip just to be there at this time on a nice day.

Cool breeze but great view. Lots of bodies in the cold water.
In glasses repair kit out snoopy.
Had to go away and come back before we could replace the cache. There were so many people taking in the view.
Thanks for bringing us to Raglan.

Nice view. Sun was just going down when we found it. Swapped Maori Tiki for Whoopee cushion (I've had some *really* good mileage out of this in the last few days )
Thanks, Tim, Owen, Peter and Briar

Drove right to it. Guys were leaning on the nearby pole and had to wait for them. Good view Out a necklace and in tape
The clue made sense once I got there. Took the longway around from beach below up. Should have just stop at the side of the road.
Stunning pre-dawn view. It got light exactly as I arrived (left Auckland 4:30am). Got within a meter of the cache, but couldn't find it. Used the clue in the end. Didn't tell me anything new, but confirmed that I was on the right track. A little more searching and there it was!
Out: Torch

Easy find with great views out to sea.Stopped here after after droping the tramping club at the south end of the Mountain ( GoGranny , wait until you drive a 39 seater tramping club bus along the south road, TB Stumpy is a piece of cake) worth the drive. Photo to follow

Found this one on a blustery winter day - but not raining. Marvellous view from the cache location. If you thought the road to TB Stumpy was bad enough - try the road south from the cache, not back into Raglan but the other way (make sure you have plenty of fuel though - it is a long way to civilisation!)

Incredible view over the surf. Relatively easy find. Left Clarabelle the cow and a whoopee cushion took Geotrain hat. There are only 3 photos left on the camera.
Nice evening drive. Went to Raglan for Tea. Found ok. Took astrojax and solstice TB, left Dr Foggs Sex Wax (surfboard wax) for the surfers out there.
Nice diversion to find the cache after a drive to Raglan for lunch. Introduced friends to Geocaching then went on to hide a new cache. Took: travel checkers, cuddly kangaroo (second one placed by Gleds)and a photo of the team. Left a fridge magnet and Soltice Traveller Travel Bug. Good find for the kids. Lovely views. Cache is in good order.

Found it! Second attempt, first attempt was thwarted by a rogue van which parked right in the way..
We set out across fields and fences to find that we could have driven there. Good fun anyhow! Mum Dad 2 boys and the dog. The number was an easy give away. Took a photo of ourselves and big boy wanted the water bombs. Thanks for the mess! Left a cuddly kangaroo toy. Great view. Icecreams on the way home.
