Wild Bird Gardens in the Linwood Mill, Northbridge, MA has many bird houses and feeders on display, the largest of which is the suet tube out front.

Not a terribly unique birdhouse, but not a typical one either! Found this while hunting a bunch of caches today!

I found this unique birdhouse while looking for an observatory. Located near Mounds,OK. I stoppped to take picutres and the man who lived there came out. He told me how his son made it for his mother out of cedar. The post a 10'x10' cedar post is beveled at the joint near the bottom to allow it to be lowered to clean the house. I can't imagine how much it must weigh even made of cedar. TFTC

Found this one in Maia, near Porto, in Portugal.

This is not really a bird house, but I thought it would make it into this category due to the uniqueness of it.

When Saddam husein was in charge of this area, there was a large garden with fruit trees and all sorts of exotic things. This structure was built to house bats which where used for insect control. There are not many bats left around here anymore, but there are quite a few birds living in the structure

Seen this big birdhouse on my way to a cache. I was in Channahon Il. on S. McKinley Wood Rd. Thought it looked pretty cool.

A nice birdhouse located just outside of Fremont, Indiana. The uniqueness comes in the height of the birdhouse. It is located on a pole 20 feet in the air. No climbing predators here! TFTC

Along Welty Road near Waynesboro, PA. Looks well used by birds larger than intended. I wonder if whatever that chimney is attached to can handle heating a place with no storm doors or windows. #131

This birdhouse is located in Assen, Netherlands, capital of the province Drenthe. It is a real monument, build in the year 1840. It was part of a country estate called Port Natal, that became a psychiatric hospital for women in the 20th century. The country house was pulled down unfortunately and nowadays the Wilhelmina-hospital is located there. Only a small teahouse and this birdhouse are left from a glorious past. We were on a trip to Chicago and in the midst of running the BoB series when we ran into the Glencoe Country Club which had about 10 of these birdhouses posted around their clubhouse. Given it was nearly 10 degrees out, these were i am sure welcome to the local birds.

Found these multiple large apartements in Ste-Foy Qc. with a nice view on the St-Lawrenc River.

This is the ‘House of Birds’ just off the Black Country Route in Sandwell UK, part of a set of structures along the route. 2.15pm.

Have seen this Large Birdhouse in Ravensburg / Germany.

I really think this birdhouse (although not huge) is EXTREMELY un-ordinary...and rather creepy to boot! The hat of this ghoulish fellow is the birdhouse built into the tree...as for the rest of him...

Definately did a double take when we drove by this one!

Hello, found these 3 birds house in a field.

These arent the most unique bird houses, but you have to give this guy credit because he gave 132 bird a nice place to hide from the blizard we had last week and 5 inches of snow yesterday.
If there was a locationless cache for guy that plants tomatos instead of grass you could log this same place in the summer.

Came upon this wonderful birdhouse in Lake Park, Lutz, Florida and remembered the unique birdhouse cache. Thanks for this creative locationless cache.

This is a bird house we found in Marine City in someones back yard.

Seen this while enroute to another cache. This is more like a bird condo or bird city. The town is Griggsville, ILL and they make purple martin houses. This is located in the downtown and looks to be an old aerial tower that they stuffed with purple martin houses. They claim purple martins can vacuum up almost 2000 mo-skeets per night. Not only is the square have the houses, but almost every yard had a house too.

This is a Bird House Condo that I found in Tucson, Arizona, USA. Gourds are often used in this area for bird houses, this one seemed to be unique.

This is a South Texas birdhouse with 12 rooms. It may have tiny mexican fruit bats living inside of it which can eat 11x their body weight in mosquitoes in one night! I say go ahead bats and pig out!

This is one of the birdhouses my husband built for me out of my Mom's old picket fence. It gives me memories of home and my Mom's love for not only birds but her old picket fence.

I hope these birdhouses are big and unordinary enough for this cache because there are 66 of them on one place in Bad Sauerbrunn in Burgenland/Austria.

Found these Multi-level Birdhouses in a Park in Ville Lasalle (City near Montreal, Quebec, Canada) during a geocaching day trip.

This is a very unique place to say the least. The building is 2 or 3 stories high and is covered with tin and birdhouses! There has to be around 100 total. The picture doesn't do this place justice. This building is a sod and landscape company and I believe it is also a residence. Located in South Tyler,TX.

I found this very nice big Birdhouse on a big cachingtour.
It standing in Dahnen, Germany, Bitburg.

This birdhouse seems to be really unique ! It looks like the tower of an old castle ! Found it in Ludweiler, part of the city of Voelklingen (Germany). The owner breeds pigeons and has build this extraorinary birdhouse for them. It is still under contruction inside, but the next year, it should be finished, so the owner told me. Very strange, but also funny...

Personally I thought the design and the detail, the attention that went into this bird house was great. I saw it when I was quadding ( 4 wheeling ) at our summer home near Brigus Junction.

Found these birdhouses in front of St-Lawrence River at Cap-Rouge, west of Quebec City, Quebec, Canada

This birdhouse has a neat history to it. My father-in-law is an avid birdwatcher who shares it with all of the grandkids. He faithfully feeds the birds throughout the winter and attracts many different species. one year he decided to build a birdhouse. Now he is an accountant and you can see that his attempt at a sparrow condominium was laughable, especially given that the holes were drilled too small and the birds couldn't get in! Several attempts later the holes are now big enough and the condo was full to capacity this spring.

This birdhouse is located in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. Please no inquires about the blueprints for this masterpiece, I'm not sure it can be replicated!

We stumbled across this very large bird house today in Clearfield, Utah. It was aprox 3 foot square!

I WAS HIKING A SHORT TRAIL IN AMHERST OHIO WHEN A CAME ARCASS THIS BACKYARD PLALCE...THIS WAS A FUN ONE TO TAKE PICS OF..THE OWNER GAVE ME A FER STRANGE LOOKS AND THEN WENT BACK INTO HIS HOUSE...TFTC...RAGEXN!!!

We returned here tonight to get a gps photo of the lion statues, when lookie, we found a birdhouse right there. Dont know why we didnt notice this before. I love this location. It is so scenic. Good pizza place nearby too.

This bird apartment is located in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. It is six-sided and three stories high, with model birds all around the post, to attract the 'livelier' tenants. I discovered it while taking a coffee break walk from my workplace.

Found this birdhouse while visiting Hamilton, Ontario. It was in the front yard of a house we passed by and I thought it was pretty neat in that it also had a chair on the front porch of the birdhouse. There ia also an A frame birdhouse in the same yard so I sent pics of the both of them. Hope you like them.

Found this huge birdhouse while seeking another cache in this park.This giant is located in McCourtie Park in Somerset Center, Michigan USA. This park is at 12715 E. Chicago Rd (US12). There are some very unique features here that, if your in the area, I highly recommend seeing.

I found this "12-Plex" Birdhouse in St-Romuald (Quebec) Canada (Corner of Chemin du Fleuve and St-Vincent Street)

The Minden and District Horticultural Society has placed several of these 'Martin Condos' along their Nature Trails. This certainly make life easier by providing housing for the 'Black Fly' gourmands in this Northern Ontario forest and lake region.
