The Rooster of The Chookies visited this one tonight while working nearby. He confirmed that the cache has disappeared - this cache will now be archived. My thanks to the Rooster.

Looked first in the obvious spot not found. Did a lot of looking around the nearby area. Not found! Could hear the up train comming for miles but the down train pulled (under brakes) by the G42 caught me by surprise.

After doing a lot of digging in the bottom of the obvious spot I fear the worst Sad also a likly looking cover was sitting next to it. A lot of poisoning of near by patosporums is under way and a lot of small one have been pulled up in the bush by the line. The shire of YR considers these weeds.

Or have they relocated another one?!

Thanks Muzza

Almost a drive by. A quick swap – left sewing kit and took the cig lighter. I doubt whether the lighter would have lit anything today as everything was dripping wet. Thanx…. No Puffing around at this hour of the day, except mine Big Grin.
clear skies, John

Huffing and Puffing along Mr.Coffee and family found this cache today. In darkness (5.45pm) with our headlamps we found it in 5mins. Taken bendy pencil and left some yu-gi-oh cards.
Thanks Muzza

This was another great cache for us as it suited the kids wonderfully. Easy to find, although I think it was made easier by some previous visitor, who simply covered the cache hiding spot with some very out of place short prunings (a bit of thought goes a long way).Lovely scenery & environment for yet again another cache by Muzza. took dinosaur left bendy pencil

NOTE: We also removed some unused feminine hygeine product from the cache; not our idea of treasure- a little distastefull & not ideal with kids.

Thanks again to Muzza for some great caches

This was my first attempt at finding a cache, It didn't take too long to find but I almost walked away after looking right at it!

Apart from a short delay while we waved at Puffing Billy (and one of our dogs barked at it), we went straight to the cache at 12:50pm. It was well hidden but fairly obvious. In fact, there have been three muggle-finds recently (one on 21st March and two on 27th March) followed by GeoCacher "pprass" on 28th who found the cache in the open and put it back where it was meant to be. We're not sure who or why but someone left a tampon in the cache! We took a "SkyHigh" matchbook and left a black and white bug-eyed monster. The cache cover was also increased a bit. Thanks Muzza for giving us a nice easy cache after #3.

Took a group of people to show them what geocaching is about and directed them to the general area, when suddenly one person yelled out - "There it is" before we even got within 100 metres of where it is hidden! There in the middle of the flat area was the cache sitting nicely exposed for all to see. Looks like a muggle had found it, wrote a note and then just left it in the open. I put it back in it's original spot and this time covered it with sticks and leaves so that it is not that obvious anymore.

Put the right co-ord in the GPS this time (see my No. 3 comments)and when we found it, we were amazed at how exposed the cache was in its hiding spot. We found it at 12.35pm and when we replaced it we placed a piece of bark that was lying next to it over the top - if this is not how it was supposed to be, then please let me know and I will go back and remove it.

Took - Egypt doll
Left - Nokia key ring.

Thanks Muzza

A nice easy find after a day with mixed succes. A good way to finish the day. Took nothing left nothing. Didn't get to see the train go past at either #1 or #3 although I heard the whistle I think.

Found at 2:30pm. After doing Dandenong Ranges Track #3 & #4 last night, "S" and I decided that we wanted to follow the entire track around by bike. We completed Dandenong Ranges Track #2 and #1 this morning and continued on to here via Emerald. Found simultaneously by both of us straight away. Last find for the trip and we almost went past on the road as we were enjoying the down hill coast.

37km so far to here of a 61km round trip.

Thanks Muzza from D & S B-A
Left figurine, sqeeeeeezy block.

Forth for the day with Team Crackers.

As this had already been found by "Team Crackers the elders" it was left upto me and "Team Crackers the youngers" to do the doings. I've never seen two people with bigger grins whilst watching us searching about. Big Grin

"He who laughs last - thinks slowest."

Took Dragonfly - Left stress brick.

Team "Da Bugs" (2 big bugs 2 medium sized bugs)
Our 2nd in the huff & puff series for the day and as Muzza says “hidden in a rather obvious spot.â€Â
My daughter Karen refused to reach in and claim the cache and is on notice that she is a member of team “Da Bugs†not team “Da Woosieâ€Â
We took a bead necklace and bouncy ball and left a plastic scorpion, housefly, dragonfly and 3 stickers.
Regards, Andrew “Da Big Bug†“Not the Da Big Woosie Karen."

TeamActioncow! - guest starring the 4 footed duo Bella and Teddy found this cache today at 1:45pm. The girls were no help at all with this cache. Were a couple of people walking past so we had to pretend we were taking dogs for a walk for a little bit. Didn't take too long to find once we started looking in the right place. Took a hand warmer, left a green bouncy ball. No sign of PB.

This is the second of five Huff 'n' Puff caches today.

A very easy find, as the cache was in the logical place at the published coordinates.

IN: clip fridge magnet
OUT: padlock

16-Nov-03
Decided to make an afternoon of huffing and puffing.
Had a lot more trouble finding a park than we did finding the cache. Some walkers slowed progress for a short time but soon had cache in hand.
Took small screw driver
Left Pull Strings
Thank you Muzza, a nice easy first find for our afternoon outing.

21-Sep-03
Our eighth cache for the day and seventh Muzza one. Pete got a phone call at the critical point in the navagation to this one. The end result was Joe taking things into his own hands by deciding he knew where to go, completely ignoring the GPS and the wild gesticulations from Pete. The extra 5 to 600 metre walk was enjoyable and good exercise though. The co-ordinates were spot on and Pete quickly found the cache. No exchange. Thanks Muzza.

Found at 12:20pm. You couldn't have asked for a better sized hiding spot with the cache fitting in nice and snuggly. I didn't see any onlookers this time, but remember the time when I was one myself. Thanks Muzza for bringing me to this area again. Swapped a tailors tape measure for a Coghlans hand warmer.

15-Jun-03
The ELTHAM Mob: Our cache #2, found at 13:00.
Liam took the blue micro car and left a brown frog.
Had to wait for PB to leave the scene before going to GZ

Aha! Seems like Smurf & I were taking turns to find caches - this one was pretty much a driveby. Took Yoda and left a mini car. Thanks Muzza!

01-Jun-03
#5 for the GeoJo and Smurf caching trip. Spotted this one fairly quickly (having the clues on hand help narrow the search somewhat!) Took a screwdriver, and left a tape measure.
Pleasantly surprised to see PB himself choof past after we'd returned to the car - not having a timetable handy, we weren't sure if we'd get the chance to see it while we were in the area. Thanks again, Muzza!

03-May-03
4th Muzza find of the day. This one was fairly easy once I worked out where I could park. It's hard to get to when you're heading west. Took a pocket knife and left a packet of seeds.

10-Mar-03
After a short but lovely walk to the cache site, we found it without incident, except for the jumping jacks nest we sat down on to fill in the log book. I'm sure the huge crowd of people who waved to us while puffing past thought we were there to see them, if only they knew the truth. Swapped pocket knife from previous cache for mr strong soft toy.
Thanks muzza.

Found with Geofreak & W.J. Waved to the tourists as they huffed & puffed past, thanks Muzza.

18-Jan-03
Smile After ducking the traffic to get across the road it was plain sailing to the cache. As with other comments the trees made the GPS go a bit wonky but apart from that a nice easy cache to find. No swap this time. Thanks Muzza.

Found at 10.55 after a brief search. Took gecko suction cup hooks left Maneki Neko fridge magnet. Thanks Muzza.

12-Jan-03
Found by Maya and Ray at 7:30 pm on the 12th January 2003.
A really easy one for a change. We have passed by this point as waving onlookers on many occasions, but were not able to stop and look around, but then, we wouldn’t have had a reason to. No waving onlookers to contend with today. Maya swapped a sachet of Hair Conditioner for a pen. Thanks Muzza.

Another easy find, again no huffing and puffing.
Walked in long way due to traffic on main road.
Took Frog and left Mr Strong

A nice easy one to find and not far to walk either. We like them like that. We thought we heard a train coming while we were at the site and waited in anticipation but unfortunately it never eventuated. Nothing exchanged. Greg and Bev

Enjoyable weather for a walk. No trouble with GPS readings. Took sandalwood essence and left dinasour. Found container a bit crampt. Another good cache thanks muzza.

Found by Mary & David at 1305. Our first find for the new year after a notable disaster a couple of days earlier. Smile A nice 'walk', even if not very far. Found easily enough and took stick-on notes, left geckos. The road was busy but no waving onlookers to be seen. Many thanks to muzza.

03-Jan-03
Found at 3.10pm by Team Froggers Tadpole, who always gets very excited when the log book is opened and she sees that she is the first to find a cache Smile.
Despite the GPS being a bit reluctant to hang on to the satellites while under the trees, the cache was still found without difficulty.
As there was no sign of the Huffer and Puffer, we exchanged a tape measure for a 'glow in the dark' frog, and then headed off to hunt down another Muzza cache.

Thank you for the cache Muzza.

Team Frogger
