Lightkeeper Jane and I took the jitney downtown today with a friend and walked all over visiting historic sights and picking up caches. Good view of the downtown, harbor, and Atlantis from this location. TFTC

I arrived in Nassau last night for a five day work trip (yes, there are people who come to Nassau for work rather than vacation!), which gives me the opportunity to do some caches! At the end of the afternoon, I came to the Queen's staircase area to do some of the caches here.

This was my first of the area. I am not sure where the D/T rating comes from (I live in Chile: a T2.5 usually means a five hour hike, haha!), but I believe it's one that I am still missing in my matrix, so I am very happy about it!

On the Carnival Fascination for a cruise to the Bahamas to pick up a few virtuals and Earth Caches. Thanks to the cachers who placed these caches and made this game a little more interesteing. Emials to follow.

What a wonderful area. There is lots to see in this one little spot. The vendors all have interesting things to sell as well. Thanks for forcing me to walk over here, I needed the exercise. An email with the answers has been sent to the CO.

Out for a tour of the island today while here to watch the Aggies play in the Battle for Atlantis. One of my favorite spots to visit. The market nearby was bustling. Answers sent TFTC

9938. Found this during our holiday around the USA and The Bahamas.

Staying at Atlantis, so we caught a Taxi up here and walked back into and around town grabbing some Virtuals and an Earthcache. This was the first for the day. Gathered the required info which has been sent to the CO. Great views from up here - thanks for bringing us up this way !

This walk to the highest point of the island was a fairly easy one ... no worse than a walk to the top deck of our cruise ship, which is about the same height. The walk though had many rewards, apart from caches, and it was good to explore the old fort next to the water tower ... and to have a cold drink at the bar on the way down.
