Pokey and I wanted to take a vacation and do some caching. We wanted to get away from the cold and snowy midwest and find some place warmer. We settled on heading to Nashville, then to Georgia and South Carolina. We had planned on visiting Virginia and W. Virginia, but the recent weather changed our route.
We wanted to pick up lots of counties, oldest in the state, webcams, virtuals high favorite pointed caches and basically one of everything in every state. Thank you to everyone who placed the caches we found to help make a fun and memorable trip for us.
The last of the must do caches on our trip. A very chilly walk this morning, but this one completes my second Jasmer! What a ride!

BFredericks and I decided kind of last minute that we needed a road trip this weekend. We made a plan and off we went with counties, oldies, a webcam and some Jasmer caches on our agenda! This is one of the caches I need to look my Jasmer for the third time - so was super excited when this trip came to be. What a beautiful park and we enjoyed the walk to GZ and actually, Mr. Lacknothing called from Scotland as we were walking. We found the cache without any issue, signed the log and took photos. Dropped 17 travel bugs here. Thanks for keeping this oldie going all of these years! A favorite for sure!
Lacknothing and I are homeward bound to Wisconsin from a whirlwind spontaneous trip filled with new counties, Jasmer squares, oldies, and anything else that piqued our interest!
This was one of the caches at the top of our 'to do' list because it was a helpful cache for both of our Jasmers, a fill for me and a loop for Marie. We parked of of Old Mill Road and walked the .4 miles to ground zero. It's a brisk morning, but nothing us Wiesonsinites aren't used to. Simple walk to the cache except for the steep incline to actually get to the cache! Love finding a nice ammo can in the woods! I tried to sit down on a log so that I could put pen to paper but realized that it was balancing pretty precariously!
This fills Jasmer square number two of the day for me! Happy to be getting that grid one cache closer to full! I also get one cache closer on a Y2K challenge which is always exciting! Love finding those oldies!
Thanks for keeping this one alive!

This one was on my list as I travelled west towards my new home in Colorado. I needed a Nov 2000 for my Jasmer and this was it! I parked at the lot and made the trek back, slipping on mud and snow and leaves along the way....after 20min I was successful as I climbed up the hill to sign the log. It took about another 20min back on the North Perimeter trail, which was really pretty in the wintertime. Tftc
