This cache has been checked for me by a previous finder. It's reported as gone (possibly well covered by blackberry). I'm archiving this cache as it is apparent it is no longer worth attempting.

I've temporarily disabled this cache whilst I attempt to contact the cache owner, it appears this cache may have been plundered. [email protected]

After three successful searches round the district my brother and I took the plunge and waded across to the cache area.

The GPS put us in the middle of a grassed area that had been mowed in relatively recent times. We moved the search to the nearest cover (perhaps 8-10 metres north and east and attacked the blackberry. After laying waste an area almost bigenough to build a house we abandoned the search.

A cold winter's day - had to leave the kids on the other side of the water - too deep and fast for them to cross. Couldn't find the cache - the spot where the GPS said it should be was suscpiciously flattened and muddy - I wonder if the river had been up high in the recent storms and swamped the cache??

Ignore this - have since found out our GPS readings aer out by about 40 metres Sad

Like Darryn we came from the wrong direction and got the feet wet. Found it quite quickly after a few scratchs [xx(]

Took the tape measure and left a shark to guard it. Beware SurprisedWink

After arriving on the opposite side of the cache location and staring at the water, then the gps a few times, we realised that we were going to have to cross the river. Tried to find Ross's small jump place (he must have stronger legs as we had to kick off the socks & boots and walk across). Finally arrived at the cache took the Apple Mac CD storage case (had to as I own an Emac - thanks Milmac); left a key finder with a light - the beeping when you whistle or talk will drive you crazy.
Thanks Ross

First ones to find it !

Rossco - thanks for the evening walk, the shoes filled with gravel, and the blackberries !

Found it reasonably quickly - accurate fix.

Took small file & left CD storage case.
