Another LC I wanted to do before they went away. This is a restaurant I pass by every once in a while. I wonder if they have a booster seat reserved for Yoda...Razz TFTC.

My son just loved this R2 toy from BK. When he found out that we could use it to say we found a "treasure" as he calls caches, he said, Daddy take my picture. So, he you go! TFTC Rock-6

Ok, ok, ok... She'd probably kill me, but oh well!! One of my best friends is a total Star Wars fan, so when I saw this particular Locationless Cache, I immediately thought of her!! Besides the fact that she ALREADY thinks I'm an insane nutcase for hiking to the top of very high rocks/mountains just to sign a piece of paper inside an ammo can or tupperware container ... well she thinks I'm just plain NUTS!!

This is a picture of her rear license plate frame. Normally, this can be found in the vicinity of the above listed coords, but it IS mobile!! (There IS a purple jeep out here in the Conejo Valley Cachers that DOES have a real and loggable cache on it, so why not this, right?) The area, if you were to look it up on the map will take you to Oxnard, CA...

Pictures will be uploaded as soon as I get back to work after the holiday.. The home computer is NOT liking/recognizing the mini disc from the camera, but the work one will...

Star Wars Exhibition at the Museum of Science in Boston Massachusetts continues to April 30, 2006. It is neither a long time ago, nor in a galaxy far, far away. Bre and I were in the City for FirstNight 2006 and tried to get into exhibit, but it was sold out this day, so we will be back in a month or two. http://starwars.mos.org

Came up to our house asking for directions, "how do I get to Fifth and Main?" Then he started waving his hands and said "you don't see nothing". What does all this mean? Can someone please help?

Schine's theater in Auburn.
I saw Star Wars here for the 20th or 30th time.

At that point, the 4th or fifth owners of the building were trying to revive the historic structure, but it failed.

In 1996 the building was purchased by the Cayuga County Arts Council, who are now slowly working to save it.

The theater is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. It is also listed as an American Treasure by Hillary Rodham Clinton's Save America's Treasures project.

The snow near the sidewalk in this picture resembles something you would see on the ice planet Hoth.

After what the Tusken Raiders did to Shmi Skywalker in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, I doubt you will find Anakin Skywalker here.

That scruffy-looking pilot and his ship were my favorite parts of the original Star Wars Smile Except it was the Millenium Falcon, not the Millenium Funding Razz

This is a business located in Williamsville, NY - a suburb of Buffalo.

"Tan Yuster is a fictional character from Star Wars. He was a human Jedi padawan apprenticed to Jedi master Agen Kolar during the days of the Old Republic. He accompanied his master to Geonosis where he died." Information from Wikipedia.
We chose the Caribbean Tan Yuster as our Star Wars play-on- words and location. These coordinates will bring you to the Tanning shop near our home in Land O' Lakes, FL, USA. See the photo of Tan Yuster trying out one of the tanning techniques.

#409. I found this forlorn sign sitting along Rio Grande Avenue in Rio Grande, NJ in front of a roadside flower and vegetable stand that is closed for the winter. Nothing says "Merry Christmas" quite like a basketful of Han Solo!

23-Dec-05
I am posting two for brownie points.
The first is Harrison Ave.
Of course one of our main characters is Han's Solo played by????? Harrison Ford.

The other is "STAR" located at N 41 36.601 W 086 43.316
You can have Star Wars without the star.

We also would have liked to have found something a little more original. But then again, the 'Empire' is obviously a far-reaching power.

Right here on Route 1 in Portsmouth, NH we found the Empire Beauty School. Is this another way of striking back?!

Brywalker and I went out for this today. He immediately thought of a street sign that fit the bill, so after we located and took the pic we started to pull away... and there it was... the Solo Mechanical Maintenance Van! We chased him for miles, trying to get the shot. Eventually, he pulled into a condo complex and we got what we needed!

Top of my head...I KNOW A WICKET(T) STREET! Barkhamsted maybe? New Hartford? YES NEW HARTFORD! There we go, omit the silent T. Smile

Singapore

The Art of Star Wars exhibition is in town and I just had to log this as a find. Movie props, including the life-sized speeder that Anakin and Obi-wan rode on in Coruscant in Episode II, were on show. And we had fun in the foley studio, where we created sound effects for the ground battle on Endor with the ewoks and storm troopers, and the Jedi Gym, where we tried out Jedi mind tricks and used the Force to wipe out droids with a wave of our hands.

This one is a photo of Obi-wan's costume. In the foreground is a sketch of Anakin by the costume designer.

Finally found one! This is Luke Way, in Fair Oaks, Ca where we live. That is "Sa" Buck in the pic with little yellow. Thanks, Cache On! (insert light saber sounds here)

Honolulu, Hawaii

This is "The Dark Side" Tatooine--- ooops--- I mean TATOOING which I visited just as the sun was going down so it was really starting to get dark. Not much was going on since it was Sunday and the shop was closed. Piercing done here too.

This is EMPIRE street. This is toward the end of its run, however this is one of the main east-west streets that goes through town.

Empire Pets
Antrim, NH

We were taking what we think was our first ever drive through the town of Antrim, NH and were surprised to see "Empire Pets" right on Main Street! We immediately thought of creatures from Star Wars that would be excellent candidates for such a shop -- maybe a tauntaun, a mynock, or a Tatooine dewback?

Thanks for the fun locationless cache!

Here is Starbase Dental in Orlando. The dentists wanted to take a lighthearted approach to their pain, I suppose. Even though most of the office is decorated from the Star Trek milieu, there is ample Star Wars paraphernalia for everyone. I especially like Admiral Akbar in the lab. Thanks Doctor S!

As if the Empire was not evil enough, now they are selling insurance.

The real location I'm logging here is Lucas Close, in Southampton, UK. This road only has one sign of its own, and it's in front of someone's house. I didn't take a photo of this for obvious reasons.

However, the sign for the road leading to it is much more interesting, so that's what the co-ordinates point to. You've got St Evox (Ewoks) Close, leading to Mossleigh (Mos Eisley) Avenue, and Lucas Close (and some other roads) Big Grin

Luke is in Westville, Indiana!

This street is so new that there aren't even any houses on it yet! Not so sure that it is named for Mark Hamill's character, but it works for me! TFTC

I thought I better get this cache done before it expires! Not too many Star Wars references in this area.

Arrgg, we have at last discovered the technical heart of the rebel alliance in Salem, OR! For valor beyond the call of duty, Lord Vader rewarded 2nd Mate Steven and Pirate 2nd Class Samantha.

Everytime I go by Empire Center, I think of Star Wars. Something about the large bulldozers they rent on the property just reeks of the machines used in Star Wars. The large sign is written in a futuristic script. Certainly the Empire cant help but remind all fans of Darth Vader et al.

I have had this one on my "to-do" list for months and could never find an appropriate entry. Finally, today, while Geocaching in the town of Plymouth, California I found something I could sink my teeth in to. Empire Street. I'm sure only the most cruel and heartless minions of the Empire live here!

Grabbed a picture of this during the day (and had dinner here later that night!) It's a nice restaurant in Carlisle, PA, but I used it for this locationless because of it's name, "Empire"!!

Luke Street Burslem, Stoke-On-Tent, Staffordshire, England.

I was looking through the list of locationless caches last night, when I spotted this . I knew there was a Luke street on the other side of town (about 5 miles away) So I decided to log it. I have just watched Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith , which was released here on DVD 10 days ago. After I visited Luke street, just around the corner there was a Lucas street, so I left that for another cacher to find Big Grin

Thanks for the cache, its sad these type of caches are being removed Sad

All the senators go to Republic First Bank!

Snapped this from the car, so there's just the corner of the GPSr in the frame. Hid the phone # on the sign, too.

Cool cache idea, TFTH!

Ok, the spelling's not bang on, but we can't believe everyone along time ago in that galaxy far, far away spelled Wookie the same way, particularly considering the number of languages and different types of written language that would have existed. Wookey Road is just south of Callander Ontario.

#2 of 11 on the weekend. I wanted to log this cache before the locationlesses dissapear. However, I was having trouble coming across something. So when I happened upon this liquor store in Yarmouth, MA I figured I would use it. This is "Luke's" Liquors. I sure hope Luke wasn't hitting this store before going out and operating the Rebel Fighters!

Sadly, the sign doesn't say "Imperial Senate" but I figured they just didn't have room to put the whole thing on one little street sign, so they just abbreviated. Wink

West Salem, Oregon. Corner of Piedmont and Senate streets.

A Long Time Ago, in a Galaxy somewhere far far in the middle of Missouri corn and soybean fields...
we spotted this road in a place that we would have not of normally anticipated being reminded of Star Wars. The really cool thing about finding this last night was that since it was out in the country, far away from the glitz of civilization, we were treated with a gorgeous view of the Milky Way galaxy - a rare treat for us!

Found this church in downtown Auburn, NY, USA. It is right off the Rts 5 & 20 arterial. The connection to Star Wars is the Mark Hammill character, Luke Skywalker. Thanks Chuck

22-Sep-05
I was driving home from work when I saw the sign for Red Star Fireworks. The connection is that the Death Star was, for a moment, a red star as it exploded. This location is on I-85, near Spartanburg, SC.

Found the people of Star Wars as big Cookie Dispensers in a shop at Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco. Really big ones...

We've been looking for some unique Star Wars tie-ins for quite a while now, but just couldn't come up with a good one. When we passed this business we decided to take the easy route. This is Empire Ornamental Iron, a little business in Cleveland, Ohio.

Find #25 for me, and my first Locationless cache. ;-D

This is the "Skate Works" skate shop in Mountain View, CA. The sign is quite obviously influenced by Star Wars. We were down in the area to meet a friend, and I happened to see the sign and know of this cache, so I shot a picture with my cell phone camera. (Sorry about the crappy quality.) The bluish blur on the left is my GPSr's backlight.

My favorite starwars reference is probably a person, John Part -- a professional darts player who is also known as Darth Maple or Dart Vader. However, it is hard to get GPS coordinates for him since he is constantly in motion. Therefore, I went to the Skywalker Easement, off of Lucas Valley Rd. (no relation) in San Rafael, California.

The Skywalker Easement provides an important connection to the Bay Area ridge trail. It was granted as part of the negotiations for Lucas being able to expand Skywalker Ranch to include the Big Rock campus. Across the road, another easement takes one above these grounds. For more information about Skywalker Easement: http://www.bahiker.com/northbayhikes/skywalker.html

You know, if you are in the Empire, you really want to look good. That is why the empire has their own beauty school! The sign is on Old Rochester Road in Dover, NH.

Where residents of the Star Wars films go apartment hunting...
I was actually hoping to find something related to my favorite Star Wars character, Hans Solo, but in the last month or so (since I have known about this cache) I have not been able to locate Solo's Bar and Grill, or Han's Airplane Repair, or the like, so this will have to do. Empire Way used to be the longest street in Seattle. It was renamed in the 1980's to Martin Luther King Jr Way, but there are a few old Empire names still out there (lucky for me). This was an entertaining cache, thanks!

I pass by this spot everyday on my way to work, and I just happened to catch it from the right angle and thought "Hey...that looks like Cloud City!" Its actually a water tank with a cell-tower on the other side.
