Found this one a couple weeks ago but my app wouldn't let me log it in. This one you have to work for. Watch for desert critters!!!
And cave exploration. TFTC!TFTC SL...On a road trip with BuffaloBill4031. Had to hit up some caches along the way!
Out and about with [purple] BoydChicks [/purple] on a cool, pleasant day cleaning up some of the Barstow caches that are new to us. Found many fun, and creative caches, thanks to all the C.O. for placing them for our enjoyment. With Mother Nature giving us F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C weather and the Geo-gods smiling down on us, we couldn’t ask for a better day. Even at age 68, I enjoyed the short hike to this one.
Once I got past the first 30' at the bottom, the rest of the hike was quite enjoyable. Thanks captnemo for adding a bit of fun to my day.[^]

Yes I got the short straw climbing up here and took a bit of time locking down the exact GZ up and down the slope I had to go and finally I saw a possible spot and was rewarded with a cache .. now the scramble down back to the car , oh joy.. but it wasn't too bad and today we had a few hill climbs at the end of the day..
Last cache of the day before heading back to Barstow for a bit of R&R thanks for the cache.
Another day in the Barstow area we have completed the Route66 series now exploring the area.

We're early, so we wanted to catch some caches before our Sat. run. Found the way into the area, the road below, and then followed with a short hike up to the cache.
