This bell appeared along with the renovations at a shopping center on the corner of E14th Street and Estudillo in San Leandro, California.
I spotted this bell on the corner of E. Mission Bay Dr. and Fiesta Island Dr. in San Diego, California. This is the first time I noticed it.
I attached a picture of my dog Thunder next to it. I apologize for not having the GPS in it. I promise to post another tomorrow with me and my GPS in it. I didnt know the rules when I was there.

we went up to sonoma yesterday and came across two unclaimed bells, this one was at he intersection of highway 37 and highway 12, thanks for the fun locationless cache, I think I have found them in ventura, santa barbara, santa clara, monterrey, san luis obispo, sonoma, and san francisco counties... but none in the county where I live!
This is on SB 101 in Morgan Hill (Santa Clara County) at the Tenant Avenue on-ramp.
Out here today with TrailGators and I noticed this bell. This is at the Old Mission Dam in MTRP. Thanks for the cache. See uploaded photos.
Found this mission bell while caching in Vista, Ca. Located at Mission and Melrose Avenues.
This "Bell" is located at the border of the town of Mission Viejo, in South Orange County. TFTC.
this bell is in santa barbara county, on the east side of the 101 freeway near the santa rosa road offramp.
us 101 in front of the carpinteria city hall in ventura county, check out the map on my gps!
Hi there; I think I stumbled upon an unclaimed bell. This one is in front of the Santa Ysabel Mission where I stopped to collect a nearby cache. Took the picture on the chance it hadn't been claimed. I did go through the logs and unless I missed it, its unclaimed. Been checking out a bunch of these for months.
I grabbed this bell along the el camino real last week, its between burlingame and hillsbourough on the east side of the street, I had to park at a bus stop and make a quck photos.... thanks for the fun!
On the way to Salinas, I stopped at a number of bells south of Gilroy, to try to ensure that one would be unclaimed. These are a great part of the State's highway heritage and I am glad that new bells have been added along El Camino Real. This one is south of Gilroy, near Tick Creek (north of 156).
On our drive to L.A. and back from the Bay Area, we must have seen a few hundred or more bells on 101. This one is on a lonely strech of road between Santa Barbara and Santa Maria, pretty close to the ocean (on the north bound side). A lot of the freeway bells are hard to get to (especially in L.A.), but this one had fairly easy parking. We're pretty sure we were still in Santa Barbara County.
Here visiting from Texas and doing some geocaching with kaesky. Pulled over SB101 in Santa Clara County right after the Coyote Creek Golf Club exit.
El Camino bell, right hand side of northbound El Camino in San Mateo city and county. It's across from Hillsdale Shopping Center, between 28th and 31st Aves. This is one of the shorter bell post, with the bottom of the bell being only around 6' off the ground.
I had a much harder time finding an unlogged bell in this county that even San Benito county, the latter of hich probably only has around 7 bells total. There aren't many bells, and I'm guessing what ones there are are all the older, original bells. From the southern border of the county, I drove nearly 10 miles before I saw this bell. Of course, on the way home I located another unlogged bell I had missed on the way up, but I'm just happy to get one of them here.

I was in colma last week and there were three bells right by where I parked my truck, two were old style on the west side of el camino real, and across the street was a brand new one! I am taking that, Thanks! look at the photos!
This bell is located on Hwy 101 in Morgan Hill, CA, (Santa Clara County) near the Dunne Road on/off ramp. I've wanted to do this locationless cache ever since I first saw it, since I was already familiar with these bells before I read the cache page. Raptor and I love Monterey, so we drive this stretch of Hwy 101 between San Jose and (almost) Monterey several times a year, and I'd noticed the bells many times before - there are dozens of them along this route. Today was the first time I remembered to stop and get photos and coords. Thanks for the cache! It's good to know more about these bells that I've seen for years.

[7:02 p.m. - Searching for a bell with the Lady Bison.
On days when I need to go visit my 91-year-old mother in San Jose, I usually try to find a cache or two to do. Today I decided to try coming down the El Camino from San Mateo to find a bell along the El Camino. I'd read logs that indicated there were some unlogged bells in this area. Armed with the "bellslist" from 06/26 we started north along the El Camino. Imagine our surprise when we first bell we saw at N 37 33.900 W 122 15.609 was not on the list. We felt very lucky, took the required pictures, picked up a virtual up the road so we could add San Mateo to our map of "California Counties Cached" on our profile page and headed to San Jose to reserve the bell until we could get home to upload the pictures. Sadly, that bell was found and logged on April 29, 2004 by CachingCarl. After visiting all afternoon it was time to head out for some dinner. During the day I consulted boulter's distance calculator and found a 4 mile gap along the Monterey Highway in South San Jose and figured that might be a likely place to look. We went to Jug & Roon's find at Branham Lane and headed south. At Chynoweth and Monterey Road, we found this bell that we are logging.] For other searchers there is a unlogged bell less than 1 mile further south that even has a big "Historic El Camino Real" sign. [We were losing the light and this bell shows better in the photos.
Later this year we hope to search for more bells in other counties. Thanks for the cache.]

Reserving the bell at Chynoweth and Monterey Rd in Santa Clara County until I can get home to upload the pictures.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
El Camino bell next to northbound Highway 101 (left side) by intersection of Highway 156 in San Benito County. There is another bell nearby on the southbound side, on the right-hand side. This bell is a little unusual in that it's on the left side of the road as you come up on it, whereas most are on the right. There's actually another green pole with an El Camino sign on it over on the right side of the highway where you'd expect it, but it doesn't have a bell on it. Perhaps that one went missing and they put this as a replacement here? There are also what seem to be some old adobe walls and other structures here, although I don't know how old they are. There's also a large wooden cross nearby with offerings at the base.
I got as close as I could to this one without running across the highway whihc would have been insane here as it's located at a curve.

El Camino Bell, right hand side of southbound Highway 101, south of Santa Maria in Santa Barbara County. E. Clark Ave was the closest offramp to the north. There were quite a few bells on this stretch although as usual they were spaced irregularly. The GPSr in this photo is the small black box on the dash in the lower left corner of the picture, it's the bluetooth Holux GR-231 that I use in the car along with my Palm Tungsten T5 for in-car voice navigation with the Tomtom software.
El Camino bell, right-hand side of Highway 101 southbound in Ventura County, just south/east of Padre Juan Canyon Road. This is in the town of Seacliff near the ocean, where 101 and 1 are only about 500' apart. You can see the ocean in the background of the pic but it's pretty washed out. Again the GPSr in the shot is the Holux GR-231 on my dash, next to the little Godzilla figure.
Sorry for the poor photo. It was a one hand, blind shot (without looking at screen) taken as I drove by on the 101 Ventura Freeway while the air was filled with smoke and ash from nearby brushfires. This particular bell is on the Southbound shoulder of the fwy at the Topanga Cyn Blvd overpass in Woodland Hills CA. The very top of my blue Magellan Explorist 300 is visible at the bottom of the pic.
This is another bell in San Juan Capistrano, CA. It is located across from the mission next to the Capistrano Trading Post at the corner of Ortega Highway and Camino Capistrano. It was placed by the California Federation of Women's Clubs, March 10, 2001.
I found this bell while goind southbound on highway 101 between san ardo and camp roberts.
ahhhh - I thought I had one for this. I was hoping to log it before it turns into a waymark! See http://www.yvanovich.com/terraserver/checker.php?wp=GC839F&wpname=Smash%20a%20Penny for a cool website to check on locationless cache logs!
2:40 pm. This one is on the south side of La Habra Blvd. just west of Beach Blvd. in the city of La Habra. There is a brass plaque at the base describing a turn in the old highway.

This one is in Orange County's City of San Clemente on El Camino Real near Avenida Miramar. It's very close to others but especially close to one found on 16 Feb 03. This bell has a plain rim instead of the embellished one on the earlier find and the post has no sign. Not sure if it replaced the other one or if we just missed seeing it but we would have expected that one to show up in the photo background and it didn't. Thanks, Parsa, for this locationless; we're sad that they're going away soon.

This bell is located in the city of San Carlos in San Mateo County at the southwest corner of the intersection of San Carlos Ave. and El Camino Real. The bell is located across the street from another previously logged bell at the San Carlos Caltrain station. The bell itself is brownish and rusty looking in contrast to the green one across the street. I am surprised this bell has not been logged in an area with so many cachers. TFTC
This is my Santa Clara County find. This bell is on the northbound side of the 101 at Tennant Ave. in My home town of Morgan Hill, CA. Nice to ne back! Had a San Benito County find on this trip, but already logged, bummer, next time. Thanks Parsa!!
Found a bell in Sunnyvale that hasn't been logged yet - amazing! Grabbed the coordinates at lunch time today. This bell is located near the intersection of El Camino and FairOaks. Thanks!

Out geocaching and decided to grab one of these. This is Northbound 101 before highway 25 in Gilroy, CA. Actually some of these bells do not correctly follow the real El Camino Real...I'm a third generation native and my mother is very familiar with the El Camino Real and notice some are placed incorrectly.
I found this one on my way from SF back to LA. This is my Monterey County find. This bell is one of MANY on the 101 in Salinas, CA. Thanks Parsa!!
I found this one on my way from SF back to LA. This is my San Luis Obisbo County find. This bell is on the southbound 101 16 miles south of Paso Robles. Thanks Parsa!
I found this one on my way from SF back to LA. This is my Santa Barbara County Find. This bell is one of the 2 Northermost bells on the 101 in S.B. County. The bell on the northbound side has already been spotted. This bell is in Santa Maria literally yards from The "Entering S.B. County" sign on the southbound (west) side of the freeway. Thanks Parsa
