Could not find it either, the owner might want to check it out and verify if it is still there, if it is we must all smoking crack and our senses are impaired.
Attempted this one with my 8 year old daughter after we bagged the catherdral cove cache. No Luck. An entire section of the cliff face had collapsed right about where the coordinates indicated the cache was...needless to say we couldn't find it at the coordinates. Broke my daughter's spirit, thankfully she was still buzzing from here find of the Catherdral Cove cache.
Lovely walk on an overcast afternoon.
Found with the kids.
Out - US coin
In - Simpsons pen.
Also replaced 2 x ziplok bags

nice walk to the beach, GPS with in metre or two, starting to get into mind set were caches are placed and straight forward find. Placed US 1c and UK 10p. Took nothing. Log book a little damp, suggest to take new zip loc bag and log book. 2 of 3 finds for day.
We were visiting the nearby Hot Water Beach with my wife when I noticed the caches nearby on my GPSr. I didn't have any cache descriptions with me, but we gave it a shot. Luckily, since these beaches here are amazing. The coords didn't point quite to the cache in my case, but the general direction was clear, so it didn't take too long to find it. If I recall right the contents are somewhat damp. TNLN.
12.00pm. Had a good look for this one, ½ hour, didn't have the co-ords listed in the logs, the slip is still there and it's still not the safe. We'll be back.

Tide was fairly high so tried to climb the slip but it was very sticky mud. Quickly abandoned that idea and just made a run for it between swells.
Used Snoopys coordinates from his log and got onto it pretty quickly.
TNLN. Thanks

Nice beach, would have enjoyed a little swim, but it was getting late in the day. The coordinates are a bit off. We looked a while and finally found it, after almost giving up.

Lovely spot on a lovely day - found the cach after seaching around for about 20 mins - a few pampus grass scratches but otherwise unscaved ....
+ corny shot glass

Couldn't find it...water level too high and it looked a bit too adventurous. Continued on to cove, nice hike.
Poor GPS lock had me worried 45m accuracy and only 3 sats in view, damn cliff, sat gps down for 5 minutes and eventually got to 14m accuracy and gps saying only 5m away. A quick search and I had it, was sitting right in front of it. Suddenly muggles everywhere, the Kiwi experience bus had arrived, so went for a swim with the cache safely in my bag till the beach cleared again

Couldn't locate this one; had to wait as a few couples mingled nearby, then moved in and searched. Tried to take hints from past logs, but in the end we had to give up and move on to the Cove.
Had a nice walk to 2 of the 3 nearby caches. This took me some time to lokate. It was a little to close to the earthslide, to my opinion. Anyway, found it, thanx.
Tried to do this at high tide but chickened out after seeing the huge 3 m swells smashing into the cliffs. There was absolutely no sand showing at all on the beach. Oh well a good reason to come back one day.
Hot, and getting hotter. In the company of dream team RotLA and already feeling the lack of sleep. Sting Ray Bay - kinda local territory but reserved for the visitors. Big Slide - impressive, but we just stepped past it and ignored the tape.
Aaron, showing huge energy for that time of the day, was straight up the cliff. Mark, worried by his antidiluvian E-trex showing the cache was actually in the Slide was trying to interpret the text; Sarah, thoughtful and considered, wasted little energy and then revealed the spot for the boys. One down.
TNLNSL thanks

Big day out with St. Ouens. Not too hard to find but wish I hadn't explored in the cutty grass.

19:35 It was getting late as we sneaked past the roped-off area. The gps was pointing me towards the beach but with a little seaching I finally found it. Took TB. TFTC
The greatest difficulty was finding accommodation here in HaHei as the tourists were as thick as sand flies. Started our walk at 6pm which was a good time as everyone was leaving the beaches and the temperature was comfortable. We were a bit daunted when we saw the size of the slip but good old blood hound sniffed it out!! Beautiful bay, the danger sign is still there but it only relates to the slip and you don’t need to walk on it.NINO.
Was going to carry on around the rocky headland to Cathedral Cove but became concerned at one point and didn’t want to see our new GPS underwater so walked back up the path.

Went through the red tape and past the slip, it was looking fairly settled there now. Found the cache without too many problems (even though the GPS was showing the cache to be in the middle of the land slip). Didn't leave or take anything.
Found this on a caching trip with the Sallies

The track is still closed, but as our friend said: "We haven't come half way round the world to be deterred by tape!"
Rodney found it straight away, slightly to the right hand side of the landslide. It is dangerous down there and needs to be moved out of this bay until the area is cleared and reopened.
+ toy car - watch (David's watch had stopped working so he was very glad to get this one!)
We walked on to Cathedral Cove on this very hot and dry day. We were absolutely amazed at the number of people of all ages and fitness who are prepared to make this long walk into the Cove.
Thanks for the cache

we came past and the road is stil closed to sting ray bay so unfotunately we didn't want to risk going down there
I noticed that the previous log (Oct. 31) mentioned the landslide. We were there on Dec 1 and couldn't locate the cache. The coordinates were all under the slide. The Conservancy worker said the slide occurred about 3 weeks ago. The track down to the beach is closed (although that didn't stop us from continuing). Maybe The Elves ought to return and confirm the coordinates and maybe relocate the cache until Sting Ray Bay is cleaned up and officially opened again.
Hmm, this one had me concerned. The GPS was pointing right into the middle of a debris pile from a huge slip. There was still stuff falling! Fortunately the cache wasn't buried (I rung a previous finder), It's now hidden a little better under a few peices of the clay in the area. Took nothing, left only a log entry, thanks, Neill .
Fourth, and final, cache of the day. Was heading back from Cathedral Cove, deleted the GPS waypoint, and selected the next closest one, and realised it was right there. Didn't have the notes, didn't need them. Easy, easy find.
Tide was quite high, I think; I could only just go over the beach without getting wet shoes.

#6 for today
Ahhh....one that the Hairy wee fellah hasn't been to yet....thank god for the weather gods....
I hit this one at low tide, keeping my feet very dry, first looking in a very likely cave then found it straight away. Another great spot, with good views on the way but be careful at the bottom of the stairs.
swapped nil
thanks

Couldn't attempt due to high tide and big seas. I couldn't hang around until low tide though, but I shall return }:)

I've been geocaching for one year this week - my first cache being Cathedral Cove next door, so fitting that I should be here now.

Not too many vistors around today as the weather is a bit wet. Lucky the tide was out as the surf was big and no beach to walk along.Shrek had just been before us. We took and left nothing thanks.
Found this one, no worries. Nice easy walk to beach, big seas though so we had to boulder hop most of the way. Took nothing and left nothing. Thanks.
