As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
G'day LPN. Do you think you will be able to get this cache back into play or should it be archived freeing up the locality for another cache maybe? Regards, Andrew
Thanks for reconfirming the demise of the cache we werent sure if it was gone but after a second report we now now for sure. June/July we are planning a trip to that area so we will try to replace the two caches in the area that are in dire need of repairs.
Well, sad to say we found its remains. The recognisable bits were the spiral binding from a note pad, the rubber-holder from a pencil, two coins, a glass stone, and parts of what once might have been a dinky car.
We plan to get down there around June/July for a few days while there will check on the cache and prepare a more robust container...like an Ammo box. We will also sort our the nearby "Diamond" cache while we are at it and climb the tree for a bit more excitement. Sorry about the long repair times but life is a bit busy for the moment.
Had a look at the spoiler just now and the area looks very different after a recent fire. I'd asy the cache is gone. The log in the spolier is not there.
found it after a little trouble with our GPS.

A nice walk on a cooler day though the forest after climbing Gloster tree. Found no problems TNLNSL. Thanks Lyn Pat and Nathan
Walked on the path and overshot due to the coverage that GPSr did not respond well. Stopped and I have seen that object before after passed. Turned back returning to it and thought I better check this one. Got it. The cache is in a good condition. Loved walking on the path in the pretty forest. Thanks for great location and the hunt, LPN
It was beautiful area. I love it. Please see Varuna's comment. No swap. Thank you for organised the cache and hunt.
Here on the Bibbulmun track, our first stop of the morning was a DNF, this one not so easy as JM says, but she read the clue and I didn’t get it and no picture clue! I did get to see a tail of something under a log.
After being unsuccessful at our first stop of the morning, we were glad to have an easy one. We almost could have left the gps behind and just looked for places that fit the description. The gps wasn't much use under the trees anyway so we were glad it was easy. It was also nice not to have to go crashing off-trail through the brush for a change.
Unfortuatly we were running out of day light so we headed down the walk trail from glouster tree as we knew that we were only 500mtrs from it.Started getting worried because the track headed away but it soon came to the bitumen track and it was pretty much follow our noses from there on.We got close but the GPS said that it was 40 mtrs off to the side away from river.I was thinking surely its not straight up trough the thickest part of the forrest. It took about 5min for the GPS to become remotely close to the sight of the cache.Lisa found this one for us.
We will have to look at the cascades when we are down this way again some time.
T:Stubby holder.
L:Toy car and a calling card.

Great place for a long walk. We parked the car near the gloucester tree and walked from there.
Loved the walk in, my husband spotted some of the locals slithering accross the forest bed & s**t himself. Disappointed with the lack of stash in the cache.
Took the Canadian play list cda& left a R.N.R White water rafting stubby holder & a Marlin fever Cairns AU embroidered patch.

Easily found a short walk in along the track. Very pretty forest, expecially in the afternoon light. We'll never be able to look at another forest the same way again, the trees everywhere else are just so tiny in comparison!
Thanks for the cache, our fifth in WA.

Thanks, a nice little wander. I'm glad there was a cache nearby, because I wasn't going to pay nine bucks to climb the Glocester Tree! (By the way, go to Diamond lookout instead, not quite as high, but its free...). The GPS took me past the cache, but a bit of patience to get a 3d fix, and it took me right to it.
Picked up the Shreck TB, and left a shiny new 2004 50c piece.
Thanks!

We found this cache in the company of Scytale whilst touring the South West. We visited York, Kalgoorli, Esperance, Albany,
Pemberton & Busselton. In all we bagged 28 caches and this was
the 21st. However we had no cache notes and relied on the co-ords in the GPS together with a note of the cache type.

Will writ more when return to US. Great walk, Took nothing, Left Purple Pike Bait TB
under all that forest tree cover and in a valley makes coordinates vary so we knew a photo clue would be needed to find this one. We also think the walk is so interesting that that is the real prize with this cache. Glad to see you liked the adventure
After stuffing our faces with take away chicken the walk was welcome. Nice spot as just about everywhere down there.

This is our second cache!
We paid a visit to the Gloucester Tree, which Alastair climbed.
Parked at the recommended car park, and then took an enjoyable walk through the forest to the cache. We found the cache with the help of the photo clues (our co-ordinates were quite out: S -34°27.3036 E 116°03.2988).
Cache is in good condition.
Took: Chamois
Left: Smiley face stickers and origami paper crane.
Thanks!

The only one we planned to find today after hiding two new ones. Found easily by Geogrommet 2 on his first individual find. Beautiful day, not too cold, not too hot by Pemby standards.
We have made a bit of a habit unintentionally so far finding LPN's cache's.

Getting the hang of this now. Found fairly easily after wonderful walk in warm weather and masses of singing birds. Classic Bibb track walking. Little George looked but wanted to continue travelling.
This would have been an easy cache if we had read the directions more carefully, but after a nice walk within the Gloucester tree area, we finally found the right starting place. The GPS indicated 40 mtrs to go from over a hundred mtrs away from the cache, but eventually settled to ground zero after about 10 minutes on the log. T: Geolighter, L: a new chamios. Thanks for the cache and the hunt.
Once we had found the Bibbulum track we were on our way, and after a quick yomp along the forest path, found the cache in its excellent hiding place. TNLN Enjoying our trip to Oz from the UK. Thanks for the cache.
Sweepy and wife.

Had a good look round the Gloucester tree, but were not tempted to go up. Took the car to the recommended car park and then went along the track and found the cache easily.

We are gald to see you found it with the clues. We figured that the trees would give a bit of trouble to the GPS units. We were worried that the location we placed the cache may have been found by bushwalkers over time but it looks like we must have placed it close to the action but still enought out of sight to not be found by the casual passer by. Keep on hunting there are lots more to find in W.A.
It was getting a little late in the eafternoon by the time we had found this cache, the sun was just about to go down and the mozzies where out for an early dinner. So we had to keep moving. To start with my GPS put us off by about 50m down the path. The sat lock was not so good but after a bit of averaging it got us on the spot with in several meters. Close enough to notice the big log. as per the hint. After 30 seconds of looking the cache was found. No problems and it still seems to be in good order even after all this time out in the bush with no one finding it.
Thanks for the find guys, nice place.
BTW we did the Gloucester tree the next day. boy was that a bit hairy but well worth the climb for the view.

After the 'Diamonds' find, 3 kids decided to stay locked up in the car. Ben came with us & the March flies were nowhere near as bad (although you wouldn't know it from the lack of a smile).
Took the matching baby Kangaroo to avoid arguments & left Corel CD.
This is a nice shady walk.

That didnt take you long to get out to this cache. I see you grabbed the first finders Certificate too....Those march flies almost sent us nuts
