no sign of it, i found what appears to be where it was hidden and what was hiding it and looked around and no other places it could be either
Like those before me, it seems like this one has gone walkabout. I did however enjoy the view along the way
DNF for us today. Got the numbers OK and navigated to an area where there was a few place to hide a cache but all were empty, spent some time checking but we are sure this one has gone.
Hope to see the cache fixed soon

Looked for it with Suitman and Auralyra - Found an obvious spot for it, but couldn't find it.... by the length of the last find (at the time) - was worried it may not be there any more

Found this one on my own as the other old bloke couldn't come today. The clue for the second part was fairly easy so the cache was not too hard to find. Unfortunately I left my bag of goodies in the car so had to make do with putting $1 in the tin. Wonder how long it will stay there!

Quick visit to the area i thought I'd look for it blind...found GZ in no time. cache was quite wet but still intact. took TB jeep (he is heading for the hills)
Visiting Maryborough, Ballarat and Mt Gambier for the Australian Mountainbike Orienteering Championships. (We won the OZ - NZ Challenge with 13-8). This cache is great. Mountainbiked to it and got an extra awesome ride in the park as a bonus. Thanks, Pyrenees kid.
This was a nice multi cache. The tower had some great views and the drive through the bush was great too. Cache found easily and surprisingly looking good for a coffee tin!
No swaps made. Thanks Pyrenees Kid.

Found on our way to Swan Hill for the weekend. As often happens we took the bush track only to find a bitumen alternative once at GZ. Poor commordore. An easy find NINO SL TFTC
Haven't been to Maryborough in years, but found myself passing through this morning so opted to grab this cache.
Really enjoyed the structure at WP1, and the views were lovely as well. From there it was an easy drive over to GZ, where the cache was quickly found. Logged the find at 7:25am, before heading back to town to grab some breakfast.
TNLN. Thanks!

Found after a bushwalk in Paddy's Ranges nearby. Great views from the tower, on a clear sunny day. Found the cache easily, spotted it almost as soon as I got out of the car. TNLN. Many thanks, Pyrenees Kid.
It was very cold and windy up the top. But it was an impressive view. Drove around to the cache site and soon had the cache in hand.
I was in town for the energy break through bike race. Unfortunately for the competitors it's a very cold and wet weekend. Makes it interesting to watch as they slide around though.

I loved the tower at wp1, and even in the overcast it has a great view of the town. Did the count and drove to gz where the cache was an easy find. Thanks to Pyrenees kid for showing me this place.
Found it!! It was fun to look for and reasonably easy to spot. Look forward to look for some more of your hidden cache's. Thanks for the fun time,it was worth looking for.
Found 200809141557 . Yet another great and interesting location I would probably never have seen were it not for geocaching
Information collected at WP1, the RhinoMobile turned WP2 and the cache into a driveby . There are tracks everywhere in these old mining areas

A break, on our return from Mulled On The Mountain. We originally had this one on the radar for New Year's Day. I'm sure we were more appreciative of the views in more conducive weather.

An interesting stop along the road. The tower was fun and our youngest team member made a point of climbing it a few times. The historic picture north of the tower by the public toilets and playground was interesting as well. Cache was located easily and in good shape, no trades made. Thanks for the cache.
Great tower and good fun cache. Coords spot on. Left football, T Appalachian Geocoin. Thanks Pyrenees kid.
Found this afternoon after hot dry bush walk from tower.
Took Padlock left Georgia Appalachian Geocoin.

Found at 08:00 this morning - a beautiful clear blue sky morning and could only have been better if it had been pouring rain !! A lovely spot and very interesting old area. Coords were spot on - In: Snoopy and our famous calling card (King of Spades); Out: Teddy. SL - Thanks for the cache, Pyrenees Kid - Penguins
I enjoyed this multi and was glad no one was watching me count the squares! A short drive almost to GZ and a coffee tin to boot. TNLN thanks pyrenees Kid.
Find 5 of 6 for our Maryborogh Expedition.
Found @ 4.40pm. Find # 182
We rocked up to the co-ords, just as a group of young muggles were going up the tower for a look. Being from out of town, I knew that I couldn't just come back anytime, so we shot up the tower too!! I had to discreetly count the squares, and then act like nothing was wrong. I must have looked like rainman, with the counting being pretty obvious, dispite my attempt at subterfuge!!! We retrieved the neccessary info, then beat a hasty retreat. No knowing the area, I drove past the tower twice again before finding the right approach to GZ.
The cache location was found easily enough, but retrieval was another problem.
It seems that a titanic struggle was going on on the portal to the cache. A catapillar was fighting off about a hundred bull ants, right over the cache. I had to interrupt the fight, sweep away all of the ants to prevent biting, and only THEN retrieve the cache. An eventful couple of minutes. Anyway, I took nothing and left a fozzycard.
Thanbks for another fine cache. Its several of yours now, under both your names!!!

Interestingly I thought that the spiral wound the wrong way. In medieval times spiral staircases typically wound in a clockwise direction (from the ascender's point of view) in order to place a castle attacker at a disadvantage. This asymmetry forces the right handed swordsman to engage the central pillar and degrade his mobility compared with the defender who is facing down the stairs and can use his sword freely.
We walked from spiral to GZ . you would not contemplate doing this one in the dark

L: Screwdriver & torch

My 100th find and the closest to my birthplace. This place has a lot of history for me: visiting my dad and his crew when this was used as a lookout during bushfire season, fossicking unsuccessfully for gold, playing a practical joke on my friends one memorable Christmas Eve...
Thanks Pyrenees Kid for the trip down memory lane. TNLN

First cache ive found, was nearly dark and didnt really prepare so we were walking around in the dark lol. Took about a three kilometer walk even though its only about 2 km from my house lol.
An easy find on a freezing cold day - too cold and windy to appreciate the views.
Took stretchy thing and left some stickynotes.
Also took Kingu the travel bug.

Third of six cache finds for the day. My Mother in-law had to go to a funeral in maryborough and needed someone to drive her there, so I ran down my check list ( Automatic car, Cruise control, Fuel paid for, Lunch at the local pub paid for and caches to log) all looked good was I dreaming. While my Mother In-Law was at the funeral I ducked up to do this cache, I really liked the view from the top. I did not find any squares but I did find some rectangles. I enjoyed the walk to GZ where I soon found the cache at 11:00. I dropped off the Kingu TB. Thanks Pyrenees Kid
In town for work and I nabbed this one on a cold, grey and very very wet morning before setting off. Would be a lovely view from the top on a clear day - looked very wintry today! TNLN. Thanks Pyrenees Kid.
Deano did this one while in Maryborough on business.
Got the co-ords for wp2 last time in town.
Found WP2 easily today, luckily no muggles around to ask why I was in the bush in a suit carrying a GPS.
Great spot with well stocked cache.

Well who would have thought that today would have been the day for the big races? Certainly not us. Thankfully entry was free so we drove right up to GZ.
It would seem that the coverage in this area may have dimished since it was first hidden as we strolled right up to the cache location and had it in seconds. It rather stood out.
Took keyring, left octo-ball.
Thanks Pyrenees Kid. A great view from the top of the tower, along with a cooling breeze to keep the sweat down on this very warm summery day.

Found it at 11.15am with daughter Veronica and her boy friend Jonathon who came to visit us on the Saturday night while we were staying at Castlemaine. Quite windy at the top of the spiral - great view and I didn;t realise how big the town is.

This was a pleasant, easy find accompanied by a very nice walk. Swapped the "Night Light Glow-In-The-Dark" sticks for a small padlock.
Found at 16:10hr just before having to work at the local highland festival. Great views, but #2 did not like the 'spiralling feeling' and had to be coerced to make it to the top.Took keyring left pull strings. Thanks pyrenees kid.
Found at 2:25pm. A nice easy find although I was a bit worried with Muzza being the previous finder as he re-hides things extremely well. At the original coordinate are extremely good views, thanks for providing the opportunity to come out and see it. The bush area also reminds me of the West Australian wheat belt so I am somewhat familiar with it.
Swapped a red car for insulation tape.

This was the penultimate cache of my vacation and I was glad it was an easy find. Time was running out, and I had to get back home, so when the cache was found immediately, (and not after the suggested 30 minutes) I was greatly appreciative.
From the cache I took a mini calculator, and replaced it with a pack of mini night lights. Thanks for the cache and the views.

The usual three members of the Emu Mob enjoyed a wander through the scrub to find this one. This is the first non-micro cache we've found. Emu-S located it, and we took the castle key ring and left a solar-powered calculator.

you're not going to believe this but as we were getting nearer to the first co ordinate, we found 2 teenagers standing against a fence in a very interesting position. Lets just say the young lady in question was perhaps trying to repair the young man's zipper with her teeth?
Needless to say it has been a joke at work ever since!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Found at 1.00pm after lunch at the tower out of the rain.
We have passed through this town many times without realising this area was here.
Thanks for showing us Pyrenees Kid.
This was a short stopover on our way home from the Grampians.
Meredith decided on the direct 4wd approach to both points a) via the velodrome and b)in a direct line drive. Heaps of tracks in the area.
As such we drove to within 9m of cache.
An easy find.
Took pens and left a sports car
Thanks for a great cache.

This was the 3rd for the day and what a grat place to see the surroundings, got the co-ordinates, entered them into the 315 forgot to save them and wondered why we went back to the same place, anyway sorted that out and after a short drive found the cache. We exchanged the bookmark frog (Woodiesis likes frogs) for a travel wallet and moved on heading for Kong Meng
