Initially I planned to pull over and Connell ave and check out the contour cache. But then noticed this oldie further up. So I climbed a bit higher. Amazing views today with the weather so clear. I dont think Ive ever panted so much. Thanks for placing fp for the adventure
Thanks for the amazing find, found my first travel bug here. Definately a favourite!
Heart rate definitely went up while climbing up this hill. Beautiful view here. Took a few moments to rest and admire the view before heading back down. Great to see a 20 year cache in great condition. Have a fav point. TFTC
Clearing the area of caches we hadn’t hunted down we made our way to this one. Once we made it to gz a brief search turned up the prize and we soon added our names to your log book. Your cache was returned as we found it. We stopped and took in the view and recovered from the climb before heading back down. TFTC Lyn Pat and Nathan.
A good day for a walk in the hills on a nice winter’s day! With axell33 we managed make our way up and up and up collecting caches along the way. I believe we have peaked at this one as it took considerable effort, but still a great walk and the views are wonderful even if it was a bit hazy today. All is well here with a quick find at gz. Also nice to find an old cache, 20 years this year! Thanks for the hide Lyn Pat and Nathan.
Just went out geocaching with me mate hazzy and took a hike up the hill to find the cache
Another old school cache on the list and continuing our recent trips of up the hills with city views. We picked a good route in which and soon reached GZ. Good to see the hide has lasted and great to see an ammo can. We completed the signing duties and continued out along the CCC. TFTC
19 years and this cache is still in excellent condition, and in an amazing spot to stop and take in the view. Thank you so much for placing
Diverted off the CCC series to find this one, a down hill MTB track on the way up looked great with jumps across the 2 roads. TFTC and the view!
A great day for some exercise. We took your advice, little steps, one foot in front of the the other & before you know it you are there but I can see a SCAN coming up in the not too distant future. Fantastic views up here too. TFTC Lyn Pat and Nathan
On the road home with a small window of time this one was “not too far” from the car so we bit the bullet and made the trek up the hill. Was good to make the climb and explore the CCC again, claimed another smiley on the walk and maintained three caches too, so very productive late arvo walk.
Thanks LPN for another “oldie”, still going strong 17years on. Did you 4wd to here or hike it?

Barnzy 12...We walked every time we have been there. Always from the bottom of the hill. Little steps and never hurry. Is surprising how big a hill you can climb that way.
Made our way here after some maintenance on the CCC caches. Was a good leg stretcher and better than expected weather during this short burst of caching. TFTH am oldie here that’s good to now of found, cache in good condition.
Tftc. My own broke. But I tried to scratch my name on the log I’ll attach a pic of cache
Out caching with Lazarus_68 for the afternoon. We were finding caches in the C=C=C series and others in the nearby area. Halfway up the hill it decided to rain so we sheltered under some trees before continuing on. The cache and contents were found in good condition.
Half way up the track it started to rain, so waited under gum tree for it to pass.
Nice view, and nice to find an ammo box. Thank you Lyn Pat and Nathan

This was an amazing walk with an amazing view to reward us at the end. initially went up to the very top but found out this wasn't the cache area. found with kittycachey
Wasn't quite at the top so we overshot a little hahaha we came back down the hill through the scrub and found it easy. TFTC
We had been expecting this one at the lookout on top of the hill, so we set off up there and then down the other side a little.
Took us further than we had explored the hill near home, TFTC!

Late log. Mad scramble up this hill gave a good workout. Glad it wasn't right at the top. Took a wrong turning and had to cut back through the scrub. Great views from here. TFTC Lyn Pat and Nathan.
We have't been caching for a few weeks and with the weather so nice we decided to get out. We started on the AP series and then picked this one up on the way out. Made the same mistake as others and ended up climbing higher up the hill than needed and had bash our way back., much to geo-spouse displeasure. Still ice quick find at GZ and great views. SL TFTC As the weather is warming up (finally) we will have to retreat out of the bush and restrict caching to urban areas over the summer.
Found Top-O-the Hill. Made a mistake. Should have gone to AP 203 first rather than going to this cache from AP 202. For that reason had to bush bashed almost all the way to this cache. TNLN SL TFTH Lyn Pat and Nathan.
This cache has been on our 'to do list' for a very long time. We came north looking for a 10 favourite point cache to earn our souvenir and decided to grab a few others while out. The drizzle had been blown away and it seemed like a perfect day to make the climb. The views did not disappoint. Thanks Lyn Path and Nathan
I thought the first hill was tough, the second leg was killer. Great view from up here though
1st section of our caching adventure (team Krabiboy, fratra and me) and the 24th find for the day. TFTC
24th find for the day and another small detour from CCC serieswith Krabiboy and bigTcup and up another hill again. Great views.
I've been wanting to do the C=C=C series for a long time, and after seeing some photos on the facebook page, decided to make it happen.
I teamed up with fratra and bigTcup to come and grab our smilies. We parked three cars along the way to make things easier and set off from #23.
What a great view from here. Made sure to stop off and grab this old cache along our travels. Left a pathtag for next finder.

Organised to tackle this series a few weeks back with Jinta29 and AlliedOz, so with much excitement we met up around 7:30am and got underway.
Did #23 to #1 plus several nearby caches, then after lunch headed South picking up a couple in Roleystone then did the remaining #29 to #40.
Great weather, great company and truly a great series that has it all. Stunning views, some challenging terrain and we learn a bit of history. Yet another part of Perth that, if it weren't for geocaching, I would have never know about or seen.
26th find of the day after a quick diversion from the C=C=C series. Grabbed the TB while here. Ended up with 52 finds all up. TFTC.

Ay karumba my calves were screaming on the way to GZ. The big container was a welcome relief tftc
Jeez, the walk up here sure gets the heart pounding . Another great find here in a magic location and s fave point from me . Great views out over the city from here too
I made a deviation on my way home from work and headed to this area to grab sime smileys. This one was on the to-do list.
Lyn Pat and Nathan - jinta29 found your cache Top-O-the Hill on 15/09/2015 4:42 pm. This is my find #3884 and find #4 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

Yay. Made it to the top of the hill. Not sure who is more tired, me or the dog. Found the path up so steep that coming down is actually harder.
A lovely morning for a walk in the hills. After doing some of the CCC series I seceded to detour to grab this one on the way back. I did it the hard way however, through the bush. I arrived at GZ and thought the cache had gone missing. I found a lovely spot for it but it was empty. I pulled out the iPhone to read the description and hint then found the cache. Bice to see an ammo can.

Up the massive hill with kids in tow, we did approx 7km loop walk and found 4 caches today. This one Is the best cache we found so far since we started geocaching. Loved the walk and view. The cache is in an awesome ammo box with cool trades.
Came up to see if I could track down some birds, a couple of C=C=C's and grab the one on Top-O-the Hill. Myself and the geodog Charli enjoyed the walk even if there were some extra serious ups and downs.
This one was the main reason I came to the area today. Definately a tough trek up the hill. Signed the log while Charli and I were still huffing and puffing.
Great views, thanks for bringing me here. This one gets a favourite.

On the CCC pipeline adventure with Mr OOH YEH and Kyzabra, we noticed this icon up the hill about 200m. 'Should we?' was the call, and it didn't take long for the vote to be counted .
WHAT WERE WE THINKING [?]. After completing 34 caches (so far) along the pipeline and walking around 15km's, this little hill nearly broke us [xx(].
After a lot of huffing and puffing to reach GZ, we were very happy that the cache was not at the top of the hill ... and also that we found a well stocked ammo tin [^]. Always great to see an old cache alive and kicking in a great spot ... Thanks Lyn Pat and Nathan

Jasenjanine, Ooh-Yeh, and I were doing the pipeline series today, and we decided to veer off and grab this cache.
All I can say is thank goodness its not right at the top of the hill.
A very steep climb up, and after completing about 33 caches from the pipeline, we were pretty tired.
Always nice to find an ammo can in the bush s it was worthwhile
TFTH Lyn Pat & Nathan., Great to see an old cache ressurected with an ammo can and given a new life.

I was out with Kyzabra and Jasenjanine doing the CCC pipeline when this one popped up on the line so it was a quick decision to continue up the very steep hill to grab this one and good to see a well stocked ammo can TFTC
Found out and about with kellydrinkstea, quick find left some swaps
Thanks for the cool cache

Out with mudbuzzie this morning. This cache was a nice easy find, (after getting to the location that is.) Number 6 for the morning and we were very pleased to see a great big ammo box after looking for micros so far. Also very impressed that it has been here for so long - over ten years is quite an achievement. We added a few swaps and signed the log then wandered off to find our next cache. Thanks for the Cache Lyn Pat and Nathan
Nice spot. Track up was quite slippery. We finally got to see some roos just behind here - the first of our trip. Thanks.
Me and Froggy1948 detoured from the C-C-C series nearby and decided to tackle the hill to this one. The view is magic from up here. Thanks for bringin us here.

This cache has been up here for over 10 years so I decided it was time to give it an overhaul.
I replaced the container with an AMMO box and replaced the contents.
I removed the old log book and put in a new one. The old was was wet and would have taken too long to dry out.
The view is as good as when I placed the cache the main difference being the lake formed when making the Champion Lakes complex.
Thanks to all the teams that have taken the challenge and climbed the hill following our footsteps.

Made a quick diversion while on the C=C=C series to make a find here, contents are soggy even though the container lid was on.

This geocache enhanced our fitness! It's a very pretty spot, unfortunately both the cache and the log were quite damp. We took the pirate and left a green toy car. TFTC.
Thanks to Team "Peeted" for helping us out and replacing the container that had been beaten to submission by the relentless Australian sun.
Its by the kind actions of then and other teams that we can keep many of the remote caches active and in good condition.(We do also repair our own when we can....)
We always pay the thanks forward when we are out caching by replacing containers, log books and some contents of the caches that we find in need of repairs.
We are happy to arrange passing on a container to teams that wish to repair one of our caches if they plan to pass by on their travels.
Its nice to remove the needs Maintenance Tag on our cache.
Thanks

Visited again today and replaced the container. Dried off the contents as well as possible.
The new container is slightly smaller than the original but still holds all contents.

Found on 1/7/13 but forgot to mention the lid has seriously deteriorated due to the elements and the great big rock on top of it. It is in pieces and the contents somewhat damp. Sorry had nothing with me to protect it but hopefully it can be saved.
Quick find as I saw the cache from a few metres away having approached GZ from the wrong direction ... it pays to read the hint sometimes. Thinking about the name of the cache, I chose to take the right hand route at the fork in the road below the cache as it appeared that this option would get me to the top of the hill more quickly. I soon realised that I was heading in the wrong direction, but continued hoping for a bend in the track to take me to GZ. After a while, I realised that this was unlikely, so bush-bashed 60-odd metres to the cache. SL. TNLN. TFTH Lyn Pat and Nathan.
ps the cache needs maintenance ... the lid of the container has perished and there is hole in the plastic bag containing the log. I was surprised to find a dry log under the circumstances, given the recent rain.

Out with Me&B searching out our first 6 C=C=C series when she pointed out a track up to the 'Top-O-the-Hill!!! didn't think we could go any higher than we already were. Had to think if I was prepared to tackle the very steep track but glad I did. A bit slippery but a quick easy find and a nice rest to take in the views was worth the walk. TFTH
Out with helbren doing some of the ccc series decide to come back and get this 1 tftf on a beautiful day
After walking (and sometimes crawling!) from the C=C=C 27 cache to the C=C=C 03 cache, I was still bubbling with enthusiasm and hadn't logged this cache, so I left my companions of Mickeydv and Jacaro44 to some quality geocaching talk while I bounded up the hill. All I could hear was "Hopefully that'll wear her out!". Shame on Jacaro44 and Mickeydv for not volunteering to accompany me on the ascent! Thanks for the cache Lyn Pat and Nathan. The container is starting to show signs of deterioration with a few cracks. It's always so exciting to find such old caches. I'm sure that with so many Prankster caches swamping this cache, it's sure to get some further finds soon.
While scouting out a new series in the hills, I decided to hunt this one out. A nice walk up the tracks to get to GZ. We are so lucky to have such wonderful places to visit that just on our doorstep. Thank you Lyn Pat and Nathan for placing a cache here, the views are truly beautiful. The hardest part was making the way back down the trails without coming a cropper. SL TFTC LP &N
Always a good feeling to pick up these older caches....good to see original logbook from 2003....thanks Lyn Pat and Nathan

I was in the hills dropping off a trailer and had a couple of hours to spare so came to this area to do a circuit walk and pick up a few caches. Quite a walk up the hill. Thankfully a nice log to sit on and sign the log. TFTC.
I decided that today would be a suitable day for a nice stroll through the hills! Today ended up being a little more than a stroll! This was the second of three on my days agenda. GPS working well had me gasping for breath and looking for the oxygen cylinder at the cache (199m) while trying to wipe sweat from my eyes. Yes, well Thanks for the cache. All in good condition. (Thats the cache I mean.) TNLN.
Did a night hike and found the cache using my head lamp. I came at the cache from above, where I thought the 'top of the hill' was. I usually run along these tracks and generally end up on top to take in the view. That's where I headed, thinking the cache would be up there. Turned on my GPS and had to head 90 metres down the hill. Hmmmm. Well I enjoyed the view from just below, the top of the hill. Big smile.
A very pleasant walk in to the cache - much less strenuous than expected. Enjoyed the views from the cache on this beautiful winter's day.

We walked in from a small parking area at the *top* or Turner Road, across from Chevin Road. A very nice walk past the other cache in this park.
Found this one at last, lovley place we forgot the binoculars though so we will go back and take a packed lunch next time and enjoy the view. Saw lots of Kangaroos and it was nice to meet up with first timers. Thanks for the Cache look forward to finding more of yours. Took Stubby holder left keyring and signed log.
