GoodLook and I were in the USA from Australia with our primary purpose to attend the GPS Adventure Maze and GeoWoodstock XVII in Fort Worth Texas, but then our plans expanded....
Whilst in the US I attended the ASP Mega in NY State; visited family friends near Detroit; went on a long road trip where we checked out Death Valley in California, and unique sights in Nevada, Arizona, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Texas.
The scenery, towns and adventures were both interesting and varied. It was great catching up with US and Canadian friends (new and old), and making plans for future trips.
We certainly targeted virtuals, earth caches, Adventure Labs, events and several trail. Your virtual being one on our 'must do list'.
Thanks Bookiew for keeping the virtual alive - please note GoodLook took the photo of the GPS at GZ for us both.

3413 - Pretty, old fashioned all American town. Needed some postage stamps to send postcards home to UK so a very convenient stop over at the Post Office. Interesting piece of history having just visited the Hoover Dam. Uploading photo with log. TFTC
Hey there. Out for lunch at Milo's with friends and hit up this near-by virtual cache.
Clan Gunnie had driven out to the Canyon for the day and had a great time. On the way back, this little town provided a great place for a break in the driving and provided few ghosts to visit as well... Perfect... [^]
Mrs Gunnie works for a company in Australia that services and repairs similar equipment so this one was a cool one to spot at. The road was closed adjacent to GZ so we made good use of the opportunity and parked right next to where we needed to be. Out for t read and a quick photo, we were back in the aircon shortly after and making our way through the streets to the next.
Cheers BookieW.

Visiting from Newcastle NSW Australia, staying with my brother in Boulder City, TFTC BookieW!!
We made last minute plans to come to Las Vegas for the holiday week. We had a blast exploring the city and the beautiful surroundings. This was a great stop after just visiting Hoover Dam. TFTVC
Took a nice walk to grab these Boulder City caches. A little hot and too much road construction, but we managed to have fun anyway. Thanks for the cache and for bringing us here.
After doing the Art virtual a little west of here, we started to head back to what I thought was the highway, but then I saw this virt not too far away, so we turned around and headed over here. Spent a few minutes looking for parking, then ambled over to admire the object. Big, isn't it? Took some photos, and then headed for Hoover Dam, or so I thought. We wound up going the wrong way, as I hadn't realized that there was a (new?) routing for 93, and I completely missed the big sign 30 feet from this cache. Wound up way in the south end of town, but eventually managed to get back on track, without asking for help. Makes for an interesting story. Tourists! What can you do, eh? Thanks!
We were thrilled to find this VC on our way to Hoover Dam. Thanks for the perfect side stop!
Staying in Boulder City tonight, so took a little stroll before dinner to do some caching. Lots of stall holers packing up all over the centre of town as there's been a big event on here over the weekend. An interesting object. Thanks for setting the virtual. TFTC.
The Reluctant Cacher was able to identify the points that had been repaired due to the nature of his work. Thank you for the informative virtual cache.
Found this afternoon on a beautiful sunny day. We bumped into fellow catchers, Captain Ken and Denman. Thanks for showing us this beautiful city. Domsky

Well I guess this virtual isn't going to move in a hurry! Went on to visit the dam and catch the last tour of the day (even after the friendly woman at the carpark said it was done for the day!). Nice weather .
