Went to the site today to check the cache. I can confirm it have gone missing. Found the $2 scratchie mentioned by Blackbeard. Definately from the cache.
Thanks to all who played, we hope you enjoyed it.

This was a disappointment. Searching for what seemed like days in the only sunny Sunday in years, we were not rewarded.
We searched in so many grottos that we thought our ladys apparition would descend the skies.
The area was littered with lots of lizards of different shape and sizes, some rubbish and the occasional tourist, but not much else. Every stone was not left unturned. Alas!!
We did manage to find a scratched $2 ticket on top of the burnt out grotto. I guess it has moved or we were very close.

Had our scratchy ready, but couldn't find it. Our GPS told us 10m up the bank from the Grotto, but copious searching found nothing but beer bottles.
Could not find it. Found the grotto but no lotto. A bit grottier for the effort
searched for about 15 minutes fruitlessly. No helpful ducks in sight.
on to the very purple place!!!

Went today to check the cache. It's still there. Bushrats why did you chew on the cache to open it? I guess that's where opposable thumbs come in handy... Left 300 chaoticas for the next lucky person. I will replace the container next time I visit.
Another lunch time raid, with one half of EcoTeam and a ring-in.
One of the easiest caches so far, eTrex was spot on.
Took nothing, left nothing, just logged the book.
Nice location

This was a lunchtime cache. Nice place to lunch. Swapped the scratchie ticket for the first one I've ever bought but no luck. I hoped a small win would let me update my five year old GPS receiver. Guess I'll just have to make do in the meantime. Hint for poor GPS lock: go to a place nearby with a good lock, use patience and get a compass bearing.
Retrieved our cache cash, left behind by i!deology, now we can set it in a new cache. Not sure if this find was providence, or luck, or skill, reached the point where i though, now this looks like a Geocache hiding spot, and sat down to think, GPS says 2 meters this-a-way, and hey presto, right on the money. Well hidden Chaos, quite a lovely spot too. Gaia and I had a chat here, nature has been very kind. ALthough, somethings been chewing on the cache container. maybe it was Ideology? Not being a gambler i left a little puzzle, and a disco mirror ball!
Well placed as always by the Captain. Nice little walk in the rain. Was watched at one stage by a guy in the bush who is camped nearby, not sure if he was the same one that Snifter encountered. (Dark hair, 170 – 180 cm, medium build)
No luck this time around. After a diversion in the wrong park and a pleasant walk in the right one, we got to the cache location. About an hour of searching later, we still hadn't found the cache. With the weather looking a bit inclement, we packed it in. Hopefully next time we'll find it ...
The trick is to think very hard about the clues. Not being gamblers, we left the scratchie alone and added a far better payoff courtesy of the GeoMonkeys. Great cache, Team Chaos!
It took us two trips to find this, since we had to run off on kid duties in the morning! This is the best concealment of a cache that we have seen to date. Well done Chaos. Once we found the cache, it turned out that we lost our pen, so our log entry is in charcoal. Oh yes, we met one of the Ideologues in the morning session, it is good to see that there are others out there searching on hands and knees! Added a cabcharge phone number list, just in case you need help getting home G1 and the Arthurs
12:50 pm. Checked the status of cache and am pleased to report it is still there and intact.
Arrived at the search location after a bit of mucking around on the other side of the water. Unbeknowns to us though this was just the beginning of a very frustrating and fruitless caching day. After over an hour and a half of searching up and down, in and out, under and over we found nothing. Our search was further frustrated by the amazing number of people walking by and curiously peering over the ledges to see what we were up to. One rather shady looking person, even chose to sit on a rock right where I was searching, effectively ending the quest. If you come here be prepared for nul privacy. I feel my search was very thorough in spite of this so very surprised in not finding it. I Will be back.
Tried a night assault, but no luck. My geo-ego is starting to become a little bruised with two fluffed caches on the trot. My poor old GPS never got a good fix, but I searched all likely looking grottos with no luck. I found a bat in one, but no stash. Tried the scratchie I bought for the stash on my way home and that turned out to be a fizzer too.
