GoodLook and I were in the USA from Australia with our primary purpose to attend the GPS Adventure Maze and GeoWoodstock XVII in Fort Worth Texas, but then our plans expanded....
Whilst in the US I attended the ASP Mega in NY State; visited family friends near Detroit; went on a long road trip where we checked out Death Valley in California, and unique sights in Nevada, Arizona, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Texas.
The scenery, towns and adventures were both interesting and varied. It was great catching up with US and Canadian friends (new and old), and making plans for future trips.
We certainly targeted virtuals, earth caches, Adventure Labs, events and several trails. Your virtual being one on our 'must do list'.
Thanks scooterman for keeping the virtual alive

Had to stop in at the low point of our honeymoon... or was that LA? Spotted the object, answer sent to CO. Sadly the museum was closed today but exploring the back lot was worth the stop anyway. Super windy and pushing 30 degrees in April... a bit warmer than the -10 we'd get overnight up the mountains! Cheers from Sydney, Australia.
Dropped in on the way through the valley for a cool drink. 112°F outside at 6pm.
Took a stroll around the museum.
TFTC,
Took a stroll around the museum.
TFTC,
visiting from Ontario we really enjoyed our day in Death valley. I've never been anywhere that was 49 degrees Celsius before. Made the skin burn a bit. Temp back home was 38 (with humidity feeling like 43) but nothing could prepare us for this.Death Valley was desolate and beautiful at the same time- certainly one off the bucket list! TFTV
Found with Grumpy Ant when arriving for some lunch and to escape the heat for a short while.

Found with W43, walked by this at least 3 times before I knew it was a cache. Interesting things to see here. TFTC
