Logs
Pokey and I wanted to take a vacation and do some caching. We wanted to get away from the cold and snowy midwest and find some place warmer. We settled on heading to Nashville, then to Georgia and South Carolina. We had planned on visiting Virginia and W. Virginia, but the recent weather changed our route.
We wanted to pick up lots of counties, oldest in the state, webcams, virtuals high favorite pointed caches and basically one of everything in every state. Thank you to everyone who placed the caches we found to help make a fun and memorable trip for us.
This was another must do on our list. We got here nice and early on a crisp morning. A great time for a walk.

1:11:00 PM. We had this cache planned before we left Australia. We flew to Seattle and drove to Oregon to fill some year 2000 spots in our Jasmer then flew into Raleigh. With one down yesterday near Charlotte we were on the road again. We had plenty of water and fruit for the hike. We followed the trail around and around it seemed till we left it for the climb. Woo Hoo we made the find and log signed. Walked back out dripping wet and not from the little shower of rain as we nearer our vehicle. Now to the motel for a shower then to Lake Lanier tomorrow to finish the year 2000. There are just some caches we cannot get in Australia. Cheers from the land down under.
