Went for a drive past this morning and the cache site has been bulldozed. Not even a chance for someone to sneak in and retrieve it.

Well done GC's. Beat me to this breaking news. I guess this cache should be removed and perhaps replaced when the new Treminal 3 is constructed. The plane spotting cachers will be sad. Sad.

clear skies, John

Can confirm that the area is sealed off!!! Having printed the cache sheet a week ago, and not having read the local papers, we turned up to find large fences and heavy machinery! - Oh well, off to the next cache!

Sorry guys.. We've been overseas and now have returned to see this great cache closed down... We will hopefully lay a new one here when the new terminal is complete or when the area is accessable again!
Keep Caching

Hmmm Sigh.
The front page of today local Messenger makes it sound like the area is now closed as of yesterday so Terminal ummm...3 can be constructed Sad

Found 15:50, having spent over half an hour slowy moving the Biggles mobile closer to GZ, finally the one remaining car between Bear and GZ moved, and the cache was ours. Unfortunately the log was firmly wedged and would not be moved from it's carrier, so no swap and no entry in the log Sad, what a complete and utter waist (of time), great cache location.

P.S. As of January 5, 2004 this area will be closed for development so get your skates on if you haven't found this cache yet.

Found by Team GeoCoopers.
I know what Cronos.au and Team Piggy are on about Surprised. After many many trips to the busy area it was finally abandoned for the few seconds it took us to get the cache. In the few minutes we were there the carpark had went from 0 to 7 cars !!!
Thank TGQ.

25+ visits to get this one ???
Not a car in sight tonight, but didnt take long for them to turn up !
I smelt the moldy cache before finding it ![xx(]
The Log has turned into a piece of "used" Surprised toilet paper.
Left a log, hopefully didn't catch syph^%%$# off the log !
Wached a few planes land, impressive. Thanks TGQ.

I must have been to this spot at least a dozen times. I'd seen the giveaway signs, and have known *exactly* where the cache was for at least a month, just one problem though...

This place gets busy. Every time I went there, there were at least 5 cars birdwatching, so I wasn't game to go for the cache.

Went today at about 1500, one person there franticly waving to the departing bird. As soon as it hit the sky, she was off, and I pounced on the cache. Logged it quickly, replaced it and moved on.

Thanks for one hell of a challenge TGQ.

Finally there was a chance to get this cache. No-one was in the prime alien viewing spot. A quick dash and I had the cache. No swap for the micro cache. Cheers to T.G.Quest

Able to retrieve cache without too much exposure to aliens either
(a) watching local traffic
(b) snoozing
(c) reading
First cache and great spot!

Lots of Aliens around today but were able to get and put back between cars. Did dry out the one log though.

When I found this cache it was all wet and well... uh, rotting, so I put the old log and stuff into a film containery thing and left that instead. Otherwise it was a took nothing left nothing.

01-Oct-03
Had to play very SNEEKY when getting this one. People everywhere watching the big birds. The log was very wet and needs some attention. The person before me has put it inside a film can, but the log needs to be re-written and replace before it rots away. Thanks for a great location.

Found at 1015. Had to stealth around a bit so the occupants of a nearby vehicle weren't suspicious ... no small swaps with me today, so took nothing and left nothing. The lid also appears to have gone missing, so the logsheet was pretty damp - a maintenance visit may be in order. Cheers guys!!

Thanks GQ, very interesting location.

Lid still need replacing as I had nothing on hand. Took and left nothing.

Got back to this one at 2130 and found it still hanging outside it's home. Fortunately everyone had gone home and I was able to rescue it log it and put it back safely in it's hiding place. Thanks for a very frustrating cache TGQ. Took so many attempts thanks to all of Adelaides aircraft watchers.

Rocked up and to the perfect parking spot for this cache, emptied the rubbish from the car. Took a freddo and left an eraser. Had no tape so had to try and use the old stuff, but it does need some form of lid.

Found easily without the GPS.

Peeked around and saw string, and immediately thought ahah.. cache...

Thanks TGQ

Took plastic peg and left some bowling man stick pins.

Found by Mary & David at 1100. Laughed out loud when we realised where it was. What a beauty. Trying to look inconspicuous in these days of alert was quite difficult with several other cars close by, but we were lucky enough to park in the ideal spot ourselves. No swaps. Thanks to Team Galaxy Quest.

Nice cache and good hiding spot. Just had a problem with a car on ground zero, but the bloke inside was asleep. Perhaps this area isn't the right place for a nap...found the cache and was logging it when Freddo rolled up for an easy find. Left peg took nothing. Nice one!

Having spotted this one earlier in the week I neatly printed out the sheet and carefully filed it. At 1030 we visited to site expecting an easy find.

No logsheet, damn. No co-ordinates in GPS, double damn. Looked around a bit, watched a couple of arrivals and left for more information.

Returning to the site at 1600 we were pleased to spot NI. In the act. Busted.

So without the need for the GPS or the logsheet we retreived the cache. Looked around a bit more, watched a couple of arrivals and left for more fun.

Sleeper in car was just waking up when we left.

Had to wait for all the heads to turn before I could get anywhere near this one Wink!! Left a glowing star, TN.

clear skies

What an interesting location. Enjoyed the sights and sounds (3 times actually before we were able to get to the cache due to the amount of visitors to the area). Thanks Team Galaxy - did not realize this spot existed.

Easy Find. After a night doing the Quiz on the geocachers channel, we were alerted to a new cache. Team Unicycle and I shot out and claimed the virgin. A gang bang you might say Smile

A midnight raid by Team Uni and KarmicKev
Kev wants to know if two teams bag a virgin, is that a gang bang?
An easy find, with Kevin finding it immediately. The area is closed at night, so probably best to go before dark.
Thought we might see TGQ down there, but he seems to have got lost.
Took nothing, left nothing.
