Cache was missing again. It's had a good run, and we won't be replacing it this time. We'll vacate the site for someone else to take over.
No luck, however found a snake skin on GZ and where looked promising...poked around to find no snake and no cache.
went for a small stroll from where my wife and I would go before we were married, and found a small hiding spot that some friends had placed, Thanks for this cache M & D, it is very well cared for, in very good condition, and DRY, not affected by massive hail storm over Christmas, sadly my wife of 49 years would not attempt what we would do last time we came here,
OH not what you think, I taught her to DRIVE a car here

Found it!! Not sure if we came in the wrong way but that is ONE STEEP CLIMB! TFTC!
Scrambled up the bank (which I DO NOT advise) and found quickly. Thanks for the hide!
YAY - found it today with Geodog, Hydro supervising. It was a beautiful Winter's day with the sun shining brightly. Orbost looked stunning and the grass was rapidly growing on the flats after the recent rain and minor flooding. Thanks maccamob for setting up this cache.
Took: nothing
Left: a puzzle for the next geokid to take and solve.

We did a caching run from Lakes Enrance to Marlo and this was one of 27 caches we found. We found the easy way in and logged the nearby trig as well. A great view. The countryside is so green compared to southern Tasmania. Left TB. TFTC
A quick find while we were looking for the nearby trig. Loved the view from here. TFTC
A long weekend in Victoria can only mean one thing.... CAMPING!!!
The plan was hatched, we would take our camper trailer and rough it for a few nights with TeamThommo.. Arriving at Corringle Slips we were greeted with absolute beach front camping spots. It was beautiful!
A quick wander down the hill with the pooch and we soon had the cache in hand.. Stopping to admite the marker point on our way back to the cars :)
Thanks to Maccamob for placing this cache :)

It's a Looong weekend! Yay! We are currently camped down at Corringal slip with Mr and Ms_enchantress. It's our first time out free camping with our new Jayco.
Sorry for the generic log but I'll never catch up unless I do a little copy and paste.
This was one of the caches we decided to do over the weekend.
MS E and Mrs T along with MS E's geo dog made the short stroll down to GZ to make a quick find.
Lovely to be doing a Maccamob cache today

Auf unserer heutigen Strecke zwischen Sale und Orbost schnell gefunden. TFTC and regards from two swiss cachehunters
Well the 400mm container was well hidden and for a moment i thought, should i put my hand in there. Well yes i did. So logged and replaced the cache for the next person. Daff then called me up and said have you seen this, and just below the observation platform was a memorial to a dad. See pic.
After camping up here last night, I came down in the morning hoping for a quick and easy find. Some idiot decided to put the container as far back in the hollow ad they could. Thankfully my arms are longer than anyone elses that i know, but i still only just reached it. TFTC!!!
Searched and searched tried to follow previous clues but alas no luck
Did see a sheded snake skin which made us jump in the first instance

Fantastic view! And a 12 year old cache - this is very rare in Europe! Thanks for the little detour...
Took us a minute to work out how to tackle this one, glad we re-read the note about the terrain rating in the description. I'd never been up here, so glad to have come looking for this cache. A favourite point from me, found with aburkitt, tftc
# 9807. After 5 days in Lakes Entrance today is a travelling day - we are moving on to Marlo for 3 nights. After last night's heavy rain we awake to a glorious day and with a few little detours find some caches along the way.
We had done our shopping in Orbost ready to continue on to Marlo when I spied a cache with a recently placed geocoin still listed. I made Rob detour back here and it was well worth the little drive back. Fabulous views across the lush paddocks and the incredibly long and old rail bridge. Nice picnic tables are now in place. Unfortunately, on opening up the cache there was no geocoin. Grrrr - it has already done a runner since it was put in here on the 29th October. Oh well, hopefully it will re-appear soon.
Thanks maccamob

As we were heading west we struggled to find access to this one, but after a quick uturn and approach from the correct way we soon were admiring the breathtaking view.
The bridge is pretty awesome also.
Thanks maccamob for making us stop.

Today we headed towards Sale with geovan in tow using geocaching as a guide and picked up a few on the way and this was one of them. Excellent views of the old tressle bridge.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Together with Spade52 I traveled for almost 6 weeks through Down Under Australia. We made our trip, using a Spaceship rental car, visiting the 5 most southern states of Australia, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Australia Capital Territory. I was the driver and Spade52 the navigator. We mostly avoided the motorways and mainly used the coastal roads that led us through many small nice and rustic villages and sleeping towns. We stayed in motels, backpacker hostels and occasionally a campsite. Luckily the weather was very agreeable during our trip with nice temperatures and little rain. We especially enjoyed the nature, the (for us) extraordinary flora and Australia's wildlife. On our trip we visited many geocaches. All CO's thanks for showing us many interesting and special spots.
On our way from Sydney to Melbourne, using the Princess Highway, we made a short stop to search for this cache. Very nice hide. Easily found. And a very nice view over the old railway into the valley.

Are there any places that David and Mary have not been? We have been past here many times and did not know that this gem existed. Normally a fantastic view however today was cold and bleak, however we enjoyed our brief visit. Thanks for another nice little cache from the maccamob team.
Found after a bit of a creepy hunt in the dark. Full moon made for great views across the valley. TFTC
Although the GPS denied that the road we were on even existed it proved to be the easier way to the cache. Would not qualify as terrain 1 now as there is no way a wheelchair could even get through the rock barrier. TFTC
This cache has been active a while - longer than we have been caching. Found an easy way to get there. No views today as it keeps on raining. TFTC
Great spot what a view TEAM is out seeing the local area before going back to camp
Initially overshot correct turn off for the road to the lookout but able to quickly do a u-turn and backtrack to what should have been my initial instinct. Quick find but too distracted for the view when I got an interesting text from my brother. Did manage to notice the landscape had become a lot greener than the areas I had passed though in the last few days.
Thanks for the hide! Lovely view that we woild not have known anout otherwise.
Heading back to Newcastle NSW after an epic road trip on GOR and surrounds.

Well hidden cache in a lovely spot with a glorious view. Took the Travel Bug # HJ2ENE to relocate elsewhere on our travels around this beautiful country of ours.t
Thanks to all the owners of the caches that we found on our way between Sale and Orbost. We had a wonderfull time ! Greetings from Belgium.
Found after a trip up to the Snowy River National Park.

Found with gwd.aussie on way home from day trip out to Raymond Creek Falls with muggle friends. A quick find but we spent a bit of time taking in the view. Love the view of the old wooden rail bridge.
Thanks maccamob great location for a cache.

The average travel time from Sale to Eden was mentioned at dinner with non caching friends last night. Oh you’ll do it easily in four hours! We assured them that would be a minimum of eight for us and we weren’t far out it was close to nine. The cache notes mention Ireland; the most recent panorama like this for us was in Scotland. What a GRAND view!
Thanks to maccamob for the hunt.

Zita was a bit of a navigating fail and we missed the turnoff to this one, but lucky Enzo is a gun driver and were were back on track almost immediately. We followed another vehicle up the road and thought we might be having a geo-meetup but no such luck, just a nice couple down from Qld enjoying the amazing view. We checked a couple of likely spots before uncovering the cache. TNLNSL TFTC
What's a fantastic place for a cache gr8 view of what was once the gr8 snowy Tftc
What a beautiful spot. I'll upload a photo. Driven past a hundred times but never been up here. TFTC!
A straightforward find on a road trip to Melbourne with Mumma-Kel and the geo-kids. Luckily, we took the easy route and not the more obvious one coming from the north. Geokid-7 made the actual find to her delight. After logging the find and swapping swag, we enjoyed the very nice view that this lookout offers.
Thanks for bringing us to somewhere we would have missed otherwise.

Day 2 of an 8 day road trip collecting caches along the way - this was stop number 6...not sure why anyone would come the 'hard' way - the easy way is, as expected, quite easy. Great Lookout and I was so glad I got a view of both the Snowy River and that cool old railway bridge we had just passed to the North...a short walk away from the lookout, where GeoJorjy excitedly made the find. TFTH and for bringing us here
Found on a geo day with Tbelf and Mandymooo. Been past here hundreds of time and never knew that lookout existed. Thanks for the cache taking us here.
Early morning find jocada13. Great view.

We started off our day with this one, and a great view it was. Thanks for the cache and bringing us here.
Great view of the bridge. I like those old wooden trestle bridges. A favourite for bringing me here to see the view. I left the TB ‘Florida to Thailand Travel Bug Race!’. TFTC.
We are staying at the Orbost caravan park and once we got our settled we headed off to find a few caches. When we saw this maccamob cache we really knew we were in Victoria . Lovely view and fav point alloc. Thanks to maccamob.
The last of 3 quick grabs while down here for work. This one was a nice short walk with some great views took trackable cache is in excellent condition. Thanks for bringing me up here, a favourite! TFTC
Nice drive along the old railway track and up the mountain. Soon had the cache after taking a couple of scenic photos.
