Due to muggles knowing the location of this cache I have decided to archive it.

Unfortunately this cach has been Muggled. I found the empty container floating in the swamp. No sign of the contents or the logbook. [:(!]
I will replace it as soon as possible but maybe move the location a little.

Ooh bugger!,
I re-hid the cache very well.
all i can suspect is that i was being watched from the BMX comp on the top of the hill.
Sorry to hear it has been muggled. makes the most recent finder ( me in this case)kind of nervous.

Nice one. Enjoyed the walk through the bush food area, but had to hurry a bit as I had BSFjnr strapped to the front of me and the weather was looking ominous.
Didn't see the swans nest, but did see plenty of wildlife, including some very boistrous galahs.
Found the cach fine. Left some dice and a caribiner. Took the finger puppet.
Thanks for the hunt

Strolled over looked at the swans who looked back at us, then strolled on a bit more. Found what we where looking for which turned out to be the second one of these we found today, even the same colour.
Yipeeeeee 3 from 3 today. We are gonna be SO sore tomorrow. (Not used to all this hiking and had swum 20 x 25m laps at the pool in the morning)> But it was a gorgeous day and all three sites were new and interesting. Will come back here and have a good look soon.
Saw a man walking a dog as we came in Daz was that you ? Looked for you but you were gone - would have loved to have said hello !
Great spot to hide and excellent choice of containers. Loved the swans - tho we didnt get too close, one took off as we went past and it was gorgeous.
Took mini cd and glow ring - left ladies earrings and shampoo.
Bel, Theborg & Garwiz.

When I was near the cache, I saw a man in the distance...
Given the unusual location I thought he could be a cacher... and it was! it Was DAZ1950 (the cache owner himself) walking his dog.
Found the cache after some looking. Great idea for the cache container BTW!
Took Stapler
Left stuffed animal.

Started by stopping at Maitland visitors centre, they hadnt heard of the Bushfood education center so we visited Morpeth Meander then navigated to Pipeline from there. Great spot, didnt see any swans, snakes or frogs. The local model aero club were flying jets so there was a spectacle to watch. Great idea for a cache! Took a card holder and left a plastic cow. cheers
A fairly easy cache to find. my friends and i took:the monkey and pen light. Left: A tree and Osuma Bin Larden(don't forget his legs).
This was my fourth find today, almost turned back when the grass got tall and the ground very wet but instead walked around till I found a way in. interesting cache, swapped F1 car for cards. Thanks for an interesting cache.

Found the park no troubles and headed off through the grass.
Wandering along in the grass I thought to myself,I thought self this looks like a good spot to find frogs and where there are frogs there are black snakes.Within 2 paces of having this thought I missed standing on a red belly black by about 6 inches.I quickly turned around and covered about 12 feet in 2 steps. After that the rest seemed uneventfull.Had nothing to trade so took nothing.
Thanks
Georgie & co

Headed for this one early evening just as it was getting dark, which made the long grass even more exciting.
Used this cache to test out a new gps unit a HP Ipaq running with a emtac bluetooth gps.
Also had along the trusty Magellan, both units took us to within a couple of metres of the cache.
Took a mini flashlight and left a sad monkey to look out of the lens!

A rainy day found us trudging through the long grass to this cache. My wife (39 weeks pregnant) made the trip OK. Our Jack Russell Terrier found the old rusting drum with mice, but that was not the cache. Nor was the golf ball lodged between two drainage pipes between the ponds. About to give up when the cache revealed itself, slightly overgrown but there. Wet and boggy area - good for Dolphins. Took nothing - left nothing - it was our first successful find!
On the way to Maitland, took a quick detour. Also took my brother on his first cache. On his way to Marylands (USA), we searched for caches there that he might follow up. Good location , no swans in sight, saw a black snake in the grass though.
Yes, there's got a be a first for everthing. A week later have clocked up two in Maryland, USA. Does that mean I'm hooked?

This was my first find ,using my new magellan spotrak pro.
we found it easily, left nothing and took nothing.
very novel container.

very novel container.
After finding that the best place to go first was full of BMX track fixer-upper-ers, I stupidly tried to get to the cache from a different angle. Bad move. After ripping a good pair of track-suit pants getting to the cache, the find was easy. Extremely novel container, and in a good hiding spot. Saw the swans on my way back so ignore the comment in the log about no swans.
No swaps.
Thanks Daz for a good, if not painful, cache.

Thanks Daz for a good, if not painful, cache.
I found it finally, after a huge 20 minute hunt. My first successful solo hunt, by the way.
I swapped the clock for a watch, spin top & some Paintball cards.
Heard the model planes buzzing around, saw some kids on the BMX track. This is a good spot to bring a BMX if you can manage it.
Thanks heaps DAZ1950. please put out some more so I can rack up a bigger 'found' score!
What a pleasant way to spend the afternoon after knocking off from work early for a change.
Scooted home to talk Mrs Rat & Baby Rat into a quick cache hunt before darkness fell. Picked myself up after Baby Rat's mad dash for the car, grabbed some gear and headed out.
I'd worked out the location with a topo (incl sat photo), so figured it would be fine for a 3 year old. She loved it[^], and wanted to take a handful of the 'treasures', but I talked her into swapping the screwdrivers for a strobe, a ring and a sticker.
Good to see there's still some locals putting out some caches.
Many thanks Daz and crew.
(you've shed a new light on cache containers)
Woohoo, 1st one there! Found in record time with Splat-cat. Very novel container, could actually use it to pretend to be still searching
Left nothing, and took nothing, though there was a tidy little stash of treasure[^]

Cheers daz1950, cache was spot on, and with clear skies 360 degrees, the gps had no trouble holding an epe of 6m or better. Saw the swans, model aircraft were flying, and the pistol club was in full swing at the time as well.
Thanks also to Jedda - always a pleasure...
