We first attempted this cache on the 19 November, 2017. We could not find it at the time and we contacted the cache owners with a photo from the location, to which the owner responded that we were in the right spot so maybe it could be missing- who knows. We had always planned on returning and having another go but we had forgotten about it for years, today we were up to 699 finds and were looking for one more to take us to 700. With the cache owner's becoming goods friends to us we thought it would be fitting to utilise their cache for find 700 and this time we found it- even in the dark! Thank you to Lyn, Pat and Nathan for not only placing and maintaining this cache but also for being great friends- caching in WA would not be the same without you.
Adding walk trails to Gwawr's adventures, this cache was in good condition and the views stupendous. Thanks for the Cache Lyn, Pat and Nathan.
I was in Perth for a couple of days and in my spare time getting a few caches. This was on my list being an old cache and a regular. Cache was found in good condition so thank you Lyn Pat and Nathan for placing and maintaining it. A bonus was the great views.
A nice hike after our power went out, I've had my eye on this one for a while so it was great to finally find it. TFTC
At the end of longish day there was still enough light and energy in the legs to make it up the hill. Nice views and a quick find. A couple of kangas about. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC.
Great to see an old cache still going strong.

Did the circuit walk for the cache, found it. Beware new high gate installed north end of walk with no access so had to backtrack all the way.
If it doesn't get find the next time I will go check it out.
Feel free to drop a replacement cache of you can't find it and message us or mention it in your log.

Enjoyed the walk up to gz and the great views to be seen with axell33. We found the cache and signed the log and headed back down for some more caches around the area before the rain comes. TYFTC.
After grabbing a nearby mystery cache , we set our sights on this one on the way back down the hill. We spotted the prize as we arrived at gz and soon had our names added to your log book and returned your cache back to its place of hiding. Great views of Byford. TFTC Lyn Pat and Nathan.
Great hide, all in good condition. Please note that there is a sign regarding prescribed burns for this area, may need to monitor cache.
After meeting Fratra in Byford, they mentioned that this cache was on their list to do. I was heading this way so I added it too!
A brisk walk and quick find.
A favourite point added and thanks for placing this one so long ago LPN

A rigorous walk that was rewarded with great views and a golden oldie cache.
TFTC Lyn Pat and Nathan this is find #11498 for us.

I did not realise how unfit I was until looking for this cache. Probably after a large coffee doesn’t help!
With a unofficial geocaching event in Collie this weekend Meme28 and myself hatched a plan to escape the city for the weekend. We started early and with no one holding us back we are caching all the way to Collie. Our aim to find some caches to fill our challenge needs, old caches, high favourite caches and just whatever else takes our fancy. This cache was found in good condition thanks to CO’s for placing these caches for our enjoyment.
It’s nice to grab this oldie. Found whilst out with I C Nothing and Meme28, as they make their way down South West Highway. TFTC!
Thanks for sending us up the hill for the spectacular view. Some scrambling but paths nice and wide.
Came here with Me&B after caching with the group to Doodah Day. We decided we hadn't had enough punishment and climbed up here to grab this and the one further up. Ooh the legs, but what awesome views. TFTC
Headed out with Kyzabra on a little caching run this morning to try bring a bit of normality into these crazy times. Focused mainly on those less visited hides to increase our chances of survival.
Huffed and puffed our way to the top of the hill and while I was catching my breath my accomplice came up with the find. This oldie fills a spot in a challenge I'm working towards, love finding these 'Old School' caches. I bet the scenery has changed over the years.
Lyn Pat and Nathan I found your cache at 6:46am, this was the 2nd of 12 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 5973. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

Granett and I decided to head our today and grab a few caches before lunch.
In the current times, we thought some social distancing was a good idea so headed out early and picked some caches out of the way and overly frequented.
Grabbed some tbs and admired the view before heading back down to the car. A bit of huff and puff for a cache that was 160m from where we parked. Have a fav.
Many thanks to Lyn Pat and Nathan for placing and maintaining Byford Tree View Trail. We found it, signed it, and put it back as found. We found this one at 6:47 am on Sunday and this is my find 8438.

All good to go....replaced and coordinates averaged for a easier find. Clue still applies
Definitely must be missing. It would be too easy for someone to find. We will try to get out and replace it this week.
The walk up the hill will be slow but the view rewarding.
We will change the status as soon as we can.

Lyn Pat and Nathan I found your cache Byford Tree View Trail thanks for placing this cache for myself and others to find.
A terrain TWO!!!! Forty years ago maybe! Today it seemed much harder. I crawled up those steps on all fours at one point. Nice bench to sit on & recover while enjoying the view. Oh and there's a cache too. Thanks for the cardio work out Lyn Pat & Nathan. Don't worry I am sure we will recover soon.
Steep!! The blackened palm and fronds at GZ look like a comical giant spider, with green hair sprouting out top. TFTC + view.
When you look around the clue is not all that unique. Co-ordinates are spot-on so if your GPS says you are on it, you are. Bag is completely sealed, air removed. Container screwed up tight. Covered well. Thanks for looking after this cache.
Out for a few caches and a bit of exercise. We had the brother in law with us who was interested in geocaching. This was his first find.
After a nice walk we admired the view and signed the log
Lyn Pat and Nathan. SVKR_WA found your cache on 14 September 2016. This find brings our finds count to 1542
We have signed the log and replaced the hide as found.
Thanks for bringing us to this place.

Found Byford Tree View Trail with magnificent views of the Swan Coastal Plain below (Byford, Oakford, Anketell, Casuarina, Medina and beyond Garden Island and the Indian Ocean). There’s evident that the area had experienced a bushfire. Also, there are granitoids and gneisses (Archaean age) – remnants of ancient continental plate that inspire me to go to the hills of the Darling Range. A favourite point is certainly in order here. TFTH Lyn Pat and Nathan.
Had an easy walk up to the cache and replaced the burnt out one that has been there. Cache is located just at he base of the lower grass tree. An easy find.
Passed 2 trackable items thorough just so they can rack up some kms.

There has been a fire through here and vicinity of cache is burnt out. Still we looked but nothing to be found. haven't been up here for a while. Still a beautiful walk.
Spontaneous geocaching quick trip up the hill there is no pen tho so couldn't write in the book
Nice walk up the hill with the Geohound. Had to keep an eye on her because she could hear the roos bouncing around. Picked up the TB

Taking the dog out for a early morning walk today made a reasonably quick find, tftc great view!
This was my choice today to flag and lock in for a Milestone, some people said I may have difficulty getting to the top at the moment as my Knee is playing up but I thoroughly enjoyed the walk up and took in the scenic route, what gorgeous country around these foothills.
So glad to have made it too the cache and then enjoy the signing duties while m4yb took a victory pic. I also took a panorama as well.
Thanks Lyn Pat and Nathan for this great hide and glad to have it locked in as a milestone, certainly enjoyed the views but a shame in ways to see Byford growing so fast. But, a fav from me for the location.
Grabbed this great looking key form an old back door and left one that looks like the count, TB I mean.

So after geodaughter WebblyWA's enthusiastic report on this cache, megawat60 and I decided to attempt it for his special milestone of 2,000 caches.
Parked the GeoJazz at the end of the road and started the walk up. The walk up became a stair climb up, but we managed it, and even before the GZ view, we enjoyed the sight of the large boulders with water trickling over them.
So, soon we were at GZ, and, thanks to the hint, I made the find, we then stopped a while for signing duties, enjoy the view and the serenity and to record the occasion.
TFTC Lyn Pat and Nathan, a fave for this one for sure!

Debated whether or not to do this one as it had a DNF but decided to give it ago. Shortly into the walk came across a lovely little water fall then I took the stairs up close to GZ. After a short search the cache was spotted as per hint. What an amazing view on top of the hill. My favourite for the day and worth another favourite point. Took the direct root down amongst the bushes without falling over but only just. Left a TB. TFTC Lyn Pat and Nathan
Many stairs to climb to find this one. Well worth the effort with such a good view. Thanks
Great views of the surrounding areas and Perth skyline. We had a picnic lunch of pies from the local bakery - sitting on the rock outcrop and taking in the views. It was a short walk to find the cache. SL TSLS. Cache dry and OK. TFTC
very nice little hike up the hill with a wonderful lookout. Thanks for the cache!!!
It was here! Amazing hide! Don't be afraid to search a little in the bush. Thanks for checking that the cache was still there and replacing it =)

We have replaced the cache that has been muggled by stoners (we found a disused bong nearby). It has also been moved 2m uphill. Read updated hint if needed.
Sorry to the last team that looked and never found it.

I am hoping top get out this week (or next) and replace the cache. Its just been a bit busy at work lately. Hang in there be patient
Absolute MAJIC location and totally worth the hike. Beautiful waterfall too.
Unfortunately the 6 of us were up here for a full hour. We left nothing unturned. Our co-ords took us directly to a specific spot where someone had placed a small
Yellow toy bucket under a grass tree. An hour later we used the spoiler pic which took us directly back to this spot we first went too. There was a freshly used Bong right there. Got a feeling it's been muggled.
