Quick trip into Cardiff Bay to drop off daughter to uni. Beautiful day fir a spot of caching. Tftc x
Looks like a TB may have found a new home! Can the next cachers take a look for it? Here is a description of how to find it:-
"The hole is about 80mm square with a film pot lid wedged un to hole about 250mm in. The hole is about 1000mm above ground level on a bearing of 305deg on the celtic ring. The lid is wedged in the hole with the TB behind it."
The actual cache should be in its correct location.
Thanks,
Dave - The Gecko's

Searching with Wobbly Wallabies.
A long sought after cache was easily and quickly found with a bit of logical thought outside of the square.
The rain stopped, a quick grab and sign the log.

Busy going through my GSAK database and updating caches I haven't sent a log for. Have been using GSAK to keep tabs on my finds. Thanks to the cache owners for the caches. Working my way through those caches that require emails with answers.
Glad I had read the cache page! This is actually a quick Mystery cache rather then a traditional as the listed co-ords are not those of the cache. It is with in quick reach once you follow the clues and to be honest I wonder how it has survived 500+ finds It is easy enough to remain unsuspicious during retrieval even when busy... which is good as it was a glorious Welsh day and the muggles were around in force. Its been a few years since I was last in Cardiff. Still a nice place to be on a clear day! Cheers from Australia.
We visited this spot after an afternoon at the science centre which the kids loved. The Bay area was an interesting visit, a first for us. Found by a younger Womble. Thanks.
So the cache is still in place
I have enabled it and will replace the log soon.

Thanks Andalulsite
I intend replacing the cache/log when I am next in the area. I suspect it only needs a new log so if any kind cacher finds this before me could they add a new log book?
Thanks,

Finally! First cache in Wales and my first after the longest layoff I’ve had due to broken GPS and moving cities! Nice one to start off with, but needed the clue – especially as the new GPS had me heading into the water. Thanks.
