Fabbo view. Wish it was clearer. Took a while and just when we thought we were getting rusty at caching we found it. Very clever.
Great to find this older one! Took ages but it was finally found. Great views TFTC
Thank you for bringing us out this way to enjoy the wonderful view. A very clever cache. A favourite point from us. TNLNSL TFTC
Took a long time to find this and there was 3 of us! Look with your feet for a rusty spot.
Found during a day driving around the Fleurieu Peninsula mainly between Myponga and Normanville in an attempt at clearing another area on the geocaching map. Great to claim a find on one of the very early geocaches. Thanks for the cache Gordon Patrick Samuel!
Followed unssy's coords time and we found it! Area is a bit more overgrown than the last time i was here. Cool hide. Favourite!

We Linga long. Difficulty 2 shouldn't be that long. A nice walk, a re visit and at 8m out, we found it. Walk from gZ towards the water thanks for the view
Another Wednesday wander of the Befuddled group with the Starfish, Adder and a Mule. The Rat was not able to join us.
Todays target area as down south around the Myponga area where a couple of high terrain hides were sought.
As always, all caches were visted and signed by all members of the group or each member had a part to play in retrieving the prize.
All caches were in good condition unless noted otherwise.
If it were not for a couple of previous finders with the Adder we would have had to linga longa and longa and longa and even longa to find this one. A very sneaky hide.
Thank you for the cache %Cachename Gordon Patrick Samuel, found 11/05/2022

7 years of travelling Australia and yet we have never visited Normanville so we are here now to rectify that. With clouds overhead, and some heavy rain overnight we decided to cache mostly inland today. Some great scenery even though the sun was hiding. Amazed that we were above 400m Elevation in quite a few spots.

I’ve spent over an hour searching up and down the fence line both sides of the road and everywhere in between. I can’t see a large, medium, small of even micro cache anywhere. Judging by the trampled grass others have searched along here too.
After a failed attempt I contacted the CO who assured me the cache was definitely there. On my second attempt I brought extra eyes and we had no trouble locating the sneaky hide. As the hint says “Not your standard cache location”.
A favourite point for the spectacular view.
Thanks for bringing me here Gordon Patrick Samuel.

Oh, brother, this poor old cache certainly needed replacing. All good to go now as we have replaced it with a sturdy container that should last a long time.
On a long weekend away on the Fleurieu, on the way back to Adelaide on a glorious winter's day. Found after a lengthy search in all the obvious places - 9m from coords, container is destroyed, lid askew and contents are swimming... all in all, a terrible hide... TFTC
Saw a kangaroo on the approach to this one but didn't manage a photo - the cache itself was found pretty quickly by spoolin_20b. Thanks GPS
Had to search a bit but did find about 9metres from GZ. Found with Beary Organised on our second visit got a asmilie today. TFTC TNLNSL
Glad to turn this from a DNF into a smiley face. Was about 9 metres out and not where we expected. TFTC TNLNSL.
A detour off the main road down into this one, after the search was had the cache was found
Today Davidwazza and I planned to head down to rapid bay and make our way along the cliffs finding some high terrain Zythern puzzles along with the odd trad and oldie along the way cleaning it up. With the tide way out and the weather being perfect it was a great day out to find 27 caches.
Thanks for the cache.

Today, gridge98 and I had planned to attend the scheduled McLaren Vale CITO, and then continue heading south targeting some high terrain/difficulty geocaches hidden along the coast and within the cliffs. We headed all the way down to Rapid Bay, and then proceeded to stop at Second Valley, then Normanville/Carrickalinga, and finally making a quick stop into Aldinga. We got very lucky with great cool-ish weather, and perfect sea conditions with flat seas and low tide to scramble over any required rocks.
This cache was hidden away and a few metres from where our GPSs were indicating GZ to be. Otherwise, the cache container and logbook were in good shape. It was nice to have found this aged 06/2003 hidden oldie. Thanks Gordon Patrick Samuel for the cache placement, and ongoing maintenance. Swell views from here indeed!

Another sad face not sure it is still here as there has just been a NEW fence erected.
Certainly watch out for our friend Mr Joe Blake. Thanks for taking us for a little detour off the main track for a beautiful view
Thanks for the cache. Certainly enjoyed the search and the find. The views are stunning. Definitely worth the side trip.
Today we had a leisurely start to the morning and then out for a drive, lunch and caching. Had hoped to get 20 caches today but we only managed 19 as there were quite a few dnfs and did not attempts today.
After we got to Myponga we did a couple of caches and then lunch at the Smiling Samoyed, lovely beers and food, dog friendly (inside too) and a cache outside, a perfect start. Luckily lunchtime was when the majority of rain came, added bonus.
It was then on to pick up caches and have a look at the reservoir. Hound had a magic day out he just loved it and is now weary on the couch.
We finished the arvo off with a cleansing ale at the Victory Hotel.
We had thought this one was going to be at a cemetery when we added it to the gps but obviously when we read the listing found instead that it was a lovely view point. Unfortunately the lid is cracked so contents quite wet we didn’t have our caching bag with us today so couldn’t fix up. TFTC Gordon Patrick Samuel

Nice find off the beaten track. Might need some attention as a bit of water has gotten in.
The last Wednesday Wanderings for the puzzled puzzlers before heading off over the border for the Melbourne Mega next week. So Anymules has started his leave for that and today's crew was him, myself, S.A. Sewer Rats and Doctor Owl. Heading southwards today towards Victor we took two cars so the Owl could fly off early. A very long day (and night) that stretched into the next day before I got home but plenty of smilies, laughs and three of those dreaded DNF's.
We had to linger a lot longer that we wanted to on that wind swept slope. Once again the rat sniffed it out a little bit north from where we first started looking.
**Thanks Gordon Patrick Samuel for this cache. **

After DNfing this one previously I returned today with reinforcements.
The geo-Rat spotted the cache. About 9m north of the listed coordinates.
Thanks for the cache Gordon Patrick Samuel.

Tftc. A cold winter's day with a stiff breeze. So nothing new for this part of the world I suspect. Great views indeed. Cache lid is cracked, but innards reasonably dry even after last night's rain.
Cold, windy and muddy today, but wow, stunning views! Started looking in all the obvious places first, should have known better. Reread the logbook and found the cache as well as two large centipedes. Quick back in the car, next it started pouring with rain. Loved this little adventure! Thanks!
Off for a drive along the Southern caching map with Purrfect Di, < Alex > , and Jack.
Small detour from the main road and we had ourselves a view, and a cache.
Probably eaiser now the grass is dying back!

I can and I looked. Then it started raining so I hid in the geomobile for a while. Then I went back and looked some more. I didn't see any cache. I will have to try again another time.
Great view from this road, cache found easily due to the geotrail. Signed log and dropped TB.
Took a bit of looking in the long grass but all good and no centipede today. Thanks
A bit of a tricky one but found after reading other logs. A lovely view, thanks for the hunt this afternoon!
We are in South Australia for a one week holiday at the Lady Bay Resort at the golf club near Normanville. Day 3 - a day closer to 'home' - north to Myponga then back to Normanville.
Well this took some time to find - the grasses are very long and thick. But they could not prevail! And the view did make us linger longer - see photo.
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 12.10pm on 27th November, 2016. TFTC

Accidentally came out to this one. Windy wet day. Grass so long and wet and then a did not find : ( At least the view was great and even better on the drive back into town. But hide, just to good for me today.
Cache container now replaced and everything is nice and dry. Please replace the container exactly as it is found.
Easy find once I stopped focusing on the exact GPS location and just looked. Bit of water in the cache. TFTC.
Located with clare007 and hevwalker12!! Great views! Thanks G.P.S. for a great hide!!
Cruising down the coast with CPWanderer & hevwalker12 for the day.
A lovely spot to stop and admire the view & find a cache.
Took a bit of searching, but after widening the area hevwalker soon found gz which is out a bit.
Thanks for the cache & location G.P.S

A day out doing some great caching down South along the coast with CPWanderer & Clare007.
The drive up was interesting. The road was steep and pebbly & wouldn't have been an problem except for an enormous buck kangaroo was blocking our path and took his sweet time moving. He eventually did and we continued up to the top. Amazing views from up here. Located the cache eventually. Stopped to take in the views awhile and take some photos. A lovely location. Thanks for bringing us here.

Out for a nice drive along the back roads around Myponga finding a few caches along the way. Had a nice drive in to this one and once I found a parking spot got out of the car and made my way to GZ in a very strong wind. Took a while to find as my GPSr had me right in the middle of the grass with not a hiding spot in sight. [?] Widened my search and found the cache sitting out in the open. [?]
The container had water in it and the old log book was very mushy. The new log sheet was not quite as wet so I dried the container out along with the new log sheet. Found a couple of zip lock bags and put the old log book in one and the new log sheet in another and put all back in the now dry container. Replaced the container in its hide and put a rock on top to keep it there. All good now.
Thanks for the cache Gordon Patrick Samuel.
