The sign had us laughing. The kids loved the "jungle gym" at GZ. Great park, beautiful view of the city and the water provides such a great atmosphere. TFTC!

3:30pm Our last of 7 caches for the day and we thought we could have a leisurely walk around this lovely park before reaching GZ. Happily went about taking photos of Confucius and the CBD when suddenly it started drizzling!! Arggghhhh..! No brolly. But GZ was so near! Don't care lah! Ran there, took pictures, and ran back to the car. As we walked back, feelings of déjà vu swept over us, reminding us of that time in Olivar de la Hinojosa (Madrid) when the skies opened up on us and we were completely drenched. Didn't find the cache then Sad.

Oh well, we did find this one tho Big Grin. Emailed the warning sign to the owner. Will be back to explore more of this lovely park! TFTC, Fat Matt & Cherry-chan! (if u ever see this)

Nice location an a long walk

Found it after a 20min high-speed hike from Marina Bay MRT (sweat, pant...!).
Hark, ye cachers to follow: Whatever your GPS tries to tell you, do **not** under- or over-cross the highway, it leads straight to the swamps, believe me! [B)]
There is a concrete footpath to follow, then a beautiful park scenery, ca 2km. The object itself is very obvious, the sign is also easy to find (although not North of object).
On the way back I was chased by grumbling skies and thundery clouds.... and a long way to go for shelter. (just made it in time!)
Alternatives: take car or taxi to "Marina City Park", there's a big parking lot there, then ~400m to walk. Bus #400A runs once per hour from MRT Marina Bay and back. If you're lucky....

Logging a virtual TB GE53A5 though this cache as I was here with the US Navy in June 1981, and this is one way I could come back. Look this TB up later to help it travel around the world in 80 days.

I was on foot on a not-so-hot day. From Merlion Park the cache was 900m away as the crow flies, but oh so much further by road, so I cracked and took a taxi. Found the article easily enough, but couldn't see it in action, because of the cloud cover. I took a good walk around the park anyway--the sculptures are worth a look, if you like that sort of thing, which I do. Thanks for bringing me here.
