SERIOUSLY MUGGLED !
Granddaughter & I found the log book and pages torn from it scattered on the ground, the plastic bag and that was it !
This has obviously been trashed.
We gathered together all the pages we could find and I have brought them home. I will get them to owner when I can.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Looked around for 30 minutes before I found it. Don't know why it took me so long as its so easy once you know, like a lot caches I suppose. Would have loved to get this earlier as I had a newbie with me and she had gone home before I found it. TFTC
spent a good hour or so bushwhacking around GZ, turns out it was right under our noses the whole time...one hour later we managed to get it TFTC, excellent view from up here! (picked up the coin and the TB, will log when I get them near the computer, theyre in Btaflys car at the moment
We couldn't find it at first, but when the clouds moved away and the GPS accuracy increased, it was easy. Thanks! Our boy seemed to think it was the best treasure hunt ever.
Left "Top of Corolla" TB from the other side of the world, picked up "Life's a Beach".
Left "Top of Corolla" TB from the other side of the world, picked up "Life's a Beach".
Droped "Stan" back after taking him down south. Sickness prevented me geocaching down there.
Why didnt we find it sooner this was our 3rd or 4th visit. It was quite an easy find. Left a Key ring TN. TFTC
Well, we failed this one... again! And on the same day that someone else found it, so it must be there (double). We tried trusting our GPS, we tried thinking like geocachers, we tried stabbing every tussock in sight with a sharp stick. We Did Not Find it. We've looked four times. I'm not sure what else we can do. It was going to be #600 for us. We planned to release our Polar Bear TB .... but not today ....... Ah well, there's always #700.
Nothing beats the sea on a sunny windless day. The scuptures surprised and we enjoyed a browse. Important, I guess to really trust ones GPS. TNLN Thank you.
#347 (3/7 on an East Chch sweep). Found with Troodles. Hmmm, lots of potential hiding places. Searched for a bit. Went to decode hont on PDA---none provided! Came across it soon thereafter (luckily the GPRr was spot on). TFTC.
Should have trusted the GPS, but the signs of previous searches in the environs had us looking in all the wrong places - should have looked at photos beforehand.
I can not see how I missed this when I tried looking for it earlier in the year (must of been having a bad day)
Lovely day for a forage in the dunes. My wife spied the cache as we re-grouped for a discussion on search patterns. We released Bouncy Cow travel-bug, who is very keen to return to Durham UK before a little kiwi arrives in Christchurch from UK . The race is on. Also, dropped off Stan the Starfish geocoin, who is very keen on visiting super beaches.

Four of us and two dog surched for this one for 20 minutes with no luck. Might go back for annother look next weekend.
Not a particularly long or thourough search but we did have a look. We would rather do 100 Aloha Sonny's than search this sort of terrain, 1.5/1.5 is a major understatement.
Too clever for us. Sure we had the right spot, the whole area had obviously been well "searched" by others looking for the cache. Spent 20 minutes but had to admit defeat.
Having read the logs recently, and having released a TB in here, we thought it prudent to go and check.
GOOD NEWS. It is still there. Well hidden so look well - it took us quite some "thinking outside the radius" and a fair bit of time second time round when we did find it. Still dry and in good condition. Retrieved the jandal for another cache. I could add that good luck as much as good management helps..... Thanks for this cache BL.

Well going to have to join the line of not finding this one . Area well trampled and no sign of the cache . Hopefully will be checked and repaired / replaced by my next visit . Enjoyed the sculptures too
I'm going to have to DNF this one. My second attempt after re-checking online. Still wasn't able to find it today.
Maybe worth checking out to see if it's been muggled?

Mmmm. Spent about half an hour searching with Wilson#41 but no sign of the cache.
Wilson#41 has returned on March 22nd for another look but still nothing.

Failed at the second of our two attempts at this one - had looked last night as well. Where the GPS was taking us consistently certainly wasn't a terrain rating of 1 (wheelchair accessible - or as good as), and we didn't know which was wrong - the co-ords or the rating.
We knew what sort of bush to be looking for on our first attempt, but even after checking the photos again on-line at the campsite, we still couldn't find the right one!!!! And we never did see the snake head seat either - unless the snake head has been done away with?
Great location, enjoyed the sculptures greatly - could only have been made better by finding that darn cache! LOL

A frustrating "bon voyage" as we headed back home after our holiday. Target ngaio was trampled completely flat underneath, and 2.6 litre is reasonably large, so I can't help wondering if the cache has been muggled?
Enjoyed the sculptures, which we wouldn't have known about except for the cache- thank you for showing us. The concept of a "love seat" (where you sit facing each other and gaze into your beloved's eyes and hold hands and converse) gave rise to some hilarity among the teenagers.

Well, as threatened, we came back. And we weren't leaving unless we left!
There were a few new sculptures, which made it even more of a reason to go back - some great stuff here, and a concept that is quite grand. Something for everyone.
But we digress. Cache number 400 for us - a milestone especially saved for this one because it annoyed us last time. And also because of its location.
We had released a "jandal" TB at cache 350 in Shell Beach, Hong Kong, and we have released a sister sandal (or junior jandal) at this, the next 50 under our belt. These TB's are to raise awareness of surf life saving - and what a spot to let it go. Thanks for this cache (both times). Took the supercacher to move on, left the jandal TB.

Ho hum....spent many minutes searching!
Arhhhhh - just noticed the photo hint!

Interesting sculptures in various stages of progress on display here. The coordinates were excellent, but the cache was so well hidden that we didn't know it was there until we kicked it! Good hide. Took Mauison's Iowa Geocoin to move on. SL. TFTC.
Also logging in and out our England Geocoin.

Ah, how sad. Like some of these easy ones, you get off on the wrong track and then its all over. After much furtive hunting, we had to move on due to time. We had two GPS's and they were conflicting, and checking the 1:1 rating, we assumed after about 15 minutes that we were sadly missing something (other than the cache). Still - the bonus is that the artwork is really amazing, and we thoroughly enjoyed coming here - and the return visit to stumble on it right where we missed it last time will be a pleasure. Cheers
Great sculptures in an unexpected place.

That was an easy find, I would have gone straight to is apart from being distracted by the sculptures.

Picked God-son up from airport and decided to take him and our boys to the beach. While there introduced him to geocaching, which was useful as this was my second visit and he found it! Right in the area I had looked last time but such is life.
Interesting to see different scupltures this time, some the same, some gone and also new ones to see.

I don't know how I missed it the last 2 visits! It was exactly where my GPS said it would be. I can only put it down to there being far more likely spots in the vicinity. Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Looked for this a year ago with no joy. No idea how we could have missed it then. A good sized cache in the "right" spot - instant find. Thanks.
Stopped by while doing some sightseeing,in NZ for business from Madison WI. TFTC GOJeepers.
Spent a bit of time rummaging through the grass, before the 'Eureka' feeling hit us.
Nice wee spot beside the stone,
Kinda pleased I was not alone.
My good friend 'Slow' discovered the cache,
and I ran over...quick as a flash.

Even my new GPS was a bit all over the place, but most of the time it was pointing to the right spot. It took a bit longer than it should have as the clue made me expect something different than where it was. I was thinking thoughts along the lines of the name of that cache near Marshlands Rd

Enjoyed walk along beach with the two junior team members while husband playing soccer nearby.
Boys loved the beach. Weather was finaly clearing grass still wet. Found the scupltures boys choose the ones the liked and posed for photos.
Looked for cache but no luck had seen spoiler photo but didn't have it with me. Couldn't see how something so big could be so hard to find. Our clothes were getting to wet, soccer game nearly over, will return again hopefully with more time and better weather so the boys can build castles in the sand. Thanks for the cache, even though we didn't find it.

Cache is in good condition. Find it without any problems. I got there at 10:30, there was a sea fog keeping things cool. Took TB sharky left nothing. TFTC
Enjoyed the sculptures before dropping of Sharkie M'Larkie TB who likes being near the sea.

Found this easily on the second attempt. GPS was spot on and it only took about 5 seconds to locate the cache with the hint from a previous cacher. Great to see the books in there for others to get the pleasure out of. I found this shortly after 7pm on a calm warm Canterbury evening.

Those sculptures were really good. I particularly liked the face looking down the road. As to finding the cache, that took quite a while as it was well hidden but got there in the end. TNLN Thanks.
Did not have the 3 logs below when I found this one after less than 1 min. Sat down under a tree and put my hand out to help me move around and the ground felted a bit funny, had a look and there was the cache , Thanks 6th of 85
No luck with finding this one. GPS said I was right on it, but looked for quite a while without success. Had a nice time walking around some of the tracks anyway, on a beautiful warm windy Canterbury afternoon.
We were unable to locate this one. We think we looked everywhere but there is a lot of everywhere
Will attempt again once somebody else locates it
Thanks for the Cache

Maybe we looked in the wrong place, but couldn't find the cache. Went out by bike to find and had a lovely ride.

Huge container, we were thinking of spending the night in there. Interesting spot and some great sculptures. Pretty easy find. We had an interesting experience with 3 older women who turned up, and started taking photos. It sounded like they were on a treasure hunt of their own, and were last seen heading off trying to find pine needles...
Nice easy find, Another find for the wife, Must stop her finding them 1st. Had to sneak past a couple in the parking area wondering what we where doing. Cheers
Great dunes, hereabouts.
We couldn't find the cache at first, so took the boys to the beach for an hour. Found it on second effort.
+ 2 corner pads (stop toddlers from injuring themselves on sharp furniture corners)
- pink submarine, blue man

Found this cach this cold afternoon, took my kids so we all enjoyed this find together,I live not far from here and pass these sculptures often, swapped two articles for two american coins, thanks very much,,
A reasonably quick find, left a couple of books and took the tiny set of playing cards.Loved the sculptures
Very chilly wind. Pleased we found this one so quickly. Took a car and left a submarine. Enjoyed the scultures on the way out.
A stunning day after yesterday so onto the bike and a quick find. GPS spot on. Took jigsaw and left racing car. Thanks. Hatas
Having succeeded in finding two other hides today by BearLeft, we were expecting something else. In the end this one was deceptively easy. The sculptures took our attention for quite a long period. Lovely to see the evolving images. Thanks for this interesting placement.
2nd attempt, God knows how I missed it the first time. No swaps. Cheers Bear_Left.
Nice place to stop the car and check out some art.
GPS had me scratching my head but finally closed in on the cache.
Took: 2cent coin
Left:100 Korean Won

This is the third cache with son and 3 grandsons today. The twin ten year-olds grabbed the GPS and took off even before My son, the 5 yr-old and myself had got out of the car and locked it. By the time I had made it out of the carpark I heard "We've found it Granddad." Well, it looks like my son might now have to get a GPS.
Lovely sculptures here, especially the one on self-circumcision.
In: Beavers
Out: Discovery Shuttle.

Paid an early morning visit to pick up the geocoin but found I had just been beaten to it by the only geocacher I have met in New Zealand. Will have to be quicker next time!
The gps was far better behaved on this visit. Pointed absolutely to the spot. Took Geocoin. Left Nothing. Thanks from Linley, Richard and Max (Claw).
Second time mum and dad had been here. Luckily they brought me this time.
Found after digging around in all the dead grass at the exact coords given. Time for this one to be un-archived! TNLN. Thanks Bear_Left.
Had the same experience as Kiwikat. It was fairly obvious where it would be, but it wasn't there. Linleye. Oops, just checked the log and see it's been disabled...that'll teach me to print out the info a few days before I go. Thanks.
Had two goes at this one...solo and then with Blimey Limey...but came up empty. Very obvious that many have searched this same area before, though.
Found the cache to discover it was being zealously guarded by a big fat snail that was attached to the container. Managed to fight our way past it. Beautiful warm and calm day here today. TNLN. TFTC.
An apt title as this is the first cache of our last morning in Christchurch.
I had come with out my usual stick and thought I would need it when I saw the predominant plant type at GZ. So I pushed my hand in to have a claw around anyway and was immediately rewarded with that satisfying hollow thunk sound. And no it wasn’t an empty soft drink bottle it WAS the cache. Bingo!

2nd go took along some young eyes and my daughter found it while the boss look after my grandson. It was looking right at me within a metre of zero. Great spot and it could of been hidden in many places. Realy enjoyed the hunt. No swaps [:d]
A quick find at the end of the day, sun was setting and we got some good shots of the sculptures.
