Thank you setting this great virtual cache. Had a wonderful time at Monkey Mia. GPS is my phone.
During our trip through Western Australia, we also discovered Monkey Mia! Thanks and greetings!Taureau
OCW PelDroedGwin Visiting Shark Bay for a few days so we joined the crowds to see the Monkey Mia dolphins. No GPS in my photo though as phone is GPS. Tftc
Ocw the Bebes as we visit MM. picked up this while we waited for the dolphins to arrive!
This destination was planted in our trip. To say all: thats our return point. Coming from Perth we wont go further north. And thats a good place to spend a day indeed (and a night). We have seen dolphins, manta and one turtle too here. We were expecting to be able to do snorkelling but there is clearly nothing to see as small sea animals or coral or algae here. Too bad. Not enough a wild place as we prefer. One night is enough. TFTC / MPLC
We were lucky enough to be able to stay 6 nights at the Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort. Hot and windy a lot of the time; but wonderful scenery in the area with plenty of wildlife - particularly enjoyed the pelicans, Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphins and the emus!
Awesome place to visit. I have wanted to come here for many years. I dont know anywhere else where you can camp in your own caravan and sleep in your own bed and be inside an awesome resort with amazing natural wonders. TFTC
Back in Monkey Mia after 39 years. Hoping I see dolphins today as none came for a feed 39 years ago!! thanks for this virtual cache!
Who would not like to be here to admire the view and visit the dolphins. They kept everyone waiting for a few hours so plenty to admire otherwise.
Today we came here to see dolphins and we have seen lots of them playing in the bay. Some also swam to the beach. #273
After waiting for ages, a mum and her baby came in for feeding. Very interesting info given and an enjoyable experience. Glad I came. Thanks for the virtual.
Great morning here but very different to my last visit 20 years ago..so busy..a.great way ro spend a warm morning tftc
Chewbacca72 and I are traveling during 4 months through Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. A few caches that are on our way should not be missing. This cache is one of them. After the dolphin feeding we absolved this virtual. Many thanks to RB Fam. Best regards, searchersab
Took the obligatory photo just as the guard came to ask us to pay entry fee. We explained we were just just taking quick photo and leaving. Thankfully, We have ample opportunities to walk on beaches and see dolphins without paying for the privilege.
On our Australian trip . After started for some days in Darwin we are on the road to Perth now .On the Road after Katherine we have seen Edith Falls, Kunnurra and Bungles Bungle. Finally we cross the Pentecost-river to enter the Gibb RiverRoad . A lot to see like Emma Falls, El Questro, Mitchel Falls, Manning Gorge, Galvans Gorge, Bell Gorge, Tunnel Creek and Windjana Gorge .Now return on the sealed road again . Further over Derby, Broome, Port Hedland, Karratha, Karijini NP, Exmouth and now down the coast to Perth .After Coral Bay and Carnarvan we headed further on the road and stopped for this one on our way to Monkey Mia .It was a must for us to see the Dolphins while overnight at the resort . During that, there is plenty of time to make the photo .TFTC# 17'285
Found while staying in Denham.Really nice area where we fed the dolphins and had morning tea.
We did this after looking at the monkeys... oops dolphins we spent 4 hours here enjoying the sights. Even saw a wallaby flash past my bumper at 6:50 am - lucky guy. Thanks for the cache.
Staying at Denham drive this way. Took the mandatory picture then decided this place is a rip off. They want money just to walk on the beach so u turn and out of there. After talking to other travelers they all agreed shouldnt have to pay unless visiting the resort. We wont be back
Found. Heading South towards Perth and stopped in. We were here 24 Years ago and a lot has changed. It was only a Caravan park back then now it is a resort. Still enjoyed stopping in for the Dolphins. Visited as many sites as we could on the way out given roads were closed due to the rain. Worth visiting. TFTC
Arrived early this morning, watched the dolphins, the feeding, heard about the program over the years and saw green turtles. The baby dolphins playing were active and amusing, very cute!
We missed the dolphin feeding but this fam of dolphins didn't venture far and were swimming around close to the shore. We also saw a sea turtle and millions of fish. A beautiful place.. it was easy to sit in the sunshine and just do nothing. TFTV RB Fam.
On our travels we found ourselves in monkey Mia and took the opportunity to do this cache, we had the dolphin experience and a sit in the sunshine with a iced chocolate and a virtual cache topped off the day, thanks for placing it
Found with e.gregory1 on a trip from Adelaide to north-western Western Australia for a little over four weeks. We spent three nights on the Steep Point/Carrarang and Peron Peninsulas, staying at Shelter Bay for a night and Big Lagoon in Francois Peron National Park for the following two nights. Enjoyed visiting this scenic area finding a variety of caches around Denham, out to Cape Peron and across to Monkey Mia. Thanks for the Virtual cache RB Fam!
Busted at GZ by another cacher! Im on the beach while the rest of the team catches tiger sharks for science. Thanks for the cache RB Fam
I was wandering past the sign when I spotted someone taking a pic and said Are you a geocacher?. It was a great reminder to log this as found. Thanks for the lend of the GPS for the pic Lucy and Roo! And TFTC, its a beautiful part of the world
Found 11:07Three months of travelling in Western Australia with Muggle friends from the East coast; stopover in Singapore on the outward and return flights. Caches and labs where they are on the way and can be done without too much effort. You may forgive me for using the same standard phrase everywhere, but there's not much more to it than that. Many thanks to all the owners for making our hobby possible. If there is anything wrong with the cache, more detailed information follows.
I only visited Monkey Mia to go on a boat cruise but it was well worth it. Saw dolphins, dugongs and turtles. Even got to see the dolphin feeding before the cruise.TFTC
I got into Mia quite late....and there were multiple Emu's in the carpark.--------------Decided to do a long road trip, flying in from Canberra, starting and finishing the drive in Port Hedland. It was a long day of flights, followed by 7 days of lots of kilometres. I stopped at every 'point of interest' along the way, I wanted to miss nothing! Earthcaches, Virtuals & AL's are always very good waypoints for interesting things as well.Every night I downloaded a bunch of podcasts and these made the kilometres fall away. This was the first outback road trip I have done where I saw more emu's than kangaroos. The wild camels walking in the desert were also very cool to see. My trusty swag served me very well.
Were on day 2/6 of a trip from Perth to Exmouth. We have loved the afternoon spent here walking along the beach with cone snails, emus, kangaroos. TFTC, from Brisbane. Found with the motley muggle crew.
We stayed here for two nights in Monkey Mia and heading back for Denham for another 2 nights. We saw dolphins and lots fish while paddling on the coast of Monkey Mia.
"Found" this cache on our trip north to Exmouth. We spent the morning here, enjoying the company of the same pod of dolphins twice, including a couple of little babies <3 What a precious encounter with another mammal species Apparently we took photos at the wrong spot, however hope that the one provided will suffice Thanks for another great cache in our vast state!
We spent two days here- amazing wildlife encounters with the dolphins, turtles, sharks
We have been here for two days. Watched a new born Delphin. Also time needed for the Monkey Bar.Thank you for this cache.

Even tho it was windy every day, we had a wonderful time in Monkey Mia! The place sure has changed in the last 20yrs since we were last here!
Monkey Mia is such a beautiful place! We stayed here for 5 nights on our honeymoon and absolutely loved it!! And plenty of caches nearby to visit! Tftf
A lovely few days in Monkey Mia, well worth the journey! Loved seeing the dolphins and walking along the beach.
Loved the sign, and the white shells underneathTFTC RB Fam. Found on 20 Sep 2023 at 17:27. Find # 2697
Stopped here briefly to grab the required photo of the sign. I found your D1.0/T1.0 Virtual Virtual called Mia Dolphins on 20 September 2023. It was find #18484 for me. Thank you RB Fam for placing this cache for our enjoyment in the wonderful state of Western Australia.
I didnt have anyone to take my pic so I had to settle for a selfie. LOVED Monkey Mia, the dolphins & emus, and the scenery. Hope to make it back here again one day TFTVC
Spent half the day here and took our paddleboard out for a bit. We seen some rays, dolphins and emus which were amazing. Thanks for the cache
Found on our last day at Monkey Mia. What a beautiful spot and a great experience. The beaches are gorgeous, the weather is perfect and the dolphins, words can't describe. So blessed to have come here. TFTC
We had a beautiful morning and viewed Piccolo and Oboe chasing a fish and Pelicans trying to catch it as well.
Great place to be, great time!

Quick stop here to see the dolphins & log the cache! Travelling with Redrobbin25 Tftc
We are out exploring Shark Bay today and came out here to grab our photo, after paying $15 each for the privilege. Then geodog decided he hated emus and refused to leave the car haha. Poor dog. Tftc
Denham Day 2
Have now booked into the Shark Bay Caravanpark for a couple of days.
This is an amazing area to explore, we found a variety of cahes.
Only went here for the Virtual & had to pay the $10 senior entry fee to the grounds
Thankyou to the CO's for hiding this cache

Fantastic of course! And it’s well structured and managed too. The trip is making me think about re-imagining Australian history! In Denham for a few days with plenty of time to explore on trusty treadles and appreciate another AUS World Heritage site. Have travelled WEST from home base 4200 km away and that includes altitude as well so enjoying the landscape and habitat changes of this BIG country. TFTC and the lure to visit.
En espérant que la photo suffira, ce que j’ai préféré …. Le coucher de soleil sur le ponton. Avec les dauphins.

Quick stopover on the way North for a date with the whale sharks.
Arrived under the cover of darkness last night, but able to take in the beauty of this area in the morning! Wished I had another day (or 5!) here!!
Watched the dolphins frolick and chase a pelican in the shallows, before the formal interaction in the morning. Certainly a memorable experience!! Didn't see any turtles though, so might have to come back another time!
Saw a bush chook on the beach, so that was something a bit different!!

As for geocaching I mostly use my phone initially I could not decide should I take a photo with phone or with my Garmin watch. Then I realized that my watch does not have camera. So there we are.
It was another very warm day on my way from Exmouth (yeah, Total Solar Eclipse 2023) back to Perth. I decided to visit the Shell Beach and Monkey Mia despite it was additional 300+ kms. I did not know that the dolphin show takes place only in the morning. So I swam in the ocean instead.
Thanks for showing this place and greetings from Latvia!

Swiss Couple on the way from Geraldton to Monkey Mia. We are able to find some Geocache. Thank you very much for the Caches !
Second time at Monkey Mia and must say I was again very disappointed with the dolphin interaction staff, so rude and only 1 dolphin which they would not let us take a picture of at all
But thank you
