Sol Del lune sent answers for the rest of the team.
thanks for the excuse to stop and stretch out legs ...
Last full day in Wyoming before we fly back to LA, started our day caching around Sheridan before driving back to Casper with a few caching stops
Our main aim was to visit and geocache in a few more US States.
Greetings from Canberra Australia.
Logged as "SAM" which is a team of three Sol De Lune, Albida33 and Mtrax (me). Visiting the US as a team for the 2nd time, our mission to complete the ET series but before and after do some more exploring and geocaching along the way. Our tour starts around Barstow and a few days in Las Vegas before caching over to 29 Palms before hitting the ET Highway straying at Rachel and Tonapah.
Our second stage of our trip saw us doing a loop around Wyoming, Nebraska, South & Nth Dakota and Montana before finishing back in Los Angles, our finds for the trip totalled well over 4,000 geocaches.

Awesome bit of history with this one. Thanks for bringing us here. Have traveled around this area many a time oblivious to the rich history that is here. Good cop bad cop? Or big business little business? Hard to say even with the history lesson. Justice is a shade of grey sometimes. TFTVC
My dad always had books on Wyoming history around the house, so I consider the Johnson County war a favorite childhood story. It's fun to take my Kentucky raised boyfriend to these different sites. TFTVC.
10/11/2013 12:47:00 PM Found: Hopped off of the main drag to find this one. Funny, I used to drive by these markers without a second stop, but now I go out of the way to find them, regardless if there's a cache available at that locale. Read the history, enjoyed the view, and watched all those people in a hurry rushing by on the slab. Headed north from here on the two lane and ran into a herd of cattle being moved by the locals. A great sight that warranted a picture. We do quite a bit of this in Cherry County, NE, as we have more mother cows than any place on earth, but it's still fun to watch. Thanks for the cache and the history.
We are on a four state (Montana, North Dakota, Minneapolis and Wisconsin) geocache tour, which will give us 36 states we have geocached in.
We enjoy the V-caches the most as they do take one to the places most people don’t know about. Thank you very much for taking us there.

Heading to Glacier Park from the Black Hills and dropped down the interstate to get this one. Thanks for keeping this VC alive. Answers on the way.
I set out to do a solo road trip covering 2 countries and 9 states, targeting over 500 caches. The planning and cache selection phase took almost two weeks. There was lots of nice caches along the route, but I decided to give this one a try based upon the cache description, it looked fun, and I really like historical caches. I enjoyed the hunt for the cache, scenery at the GZ, and of course the history! Thanks to the CO for the fun hunt and nice cache, TFTC!
On my way up to Sheridan VA from Casper today. Took a little bit of a detour to snag this one. TFTC, TNLN, SL
Took a photo of the sign. (take photos of all these signs). Will email answers as soon as I can.

I took a couple of minutes to read about the interesting, sad story of live and death in former days.
I sent the anser to the CO today.

Bucky & I found this one on the first day of the [blue]11th Annual Me & Bucky's July 4th Cachin' and Benchmarkin' Cachepolooza![/blue] Each year on or about the 4th of July weekend, we take off on a caching spree which takes us to all kinds of fun and interesting places. Today we started out in Ft. Lupton, Colorado and ended for the day in Buffalo, Wyoming. The goal of this year's trip was to find all of the letterboxes in the Colorado Star, finish the Wyoming counties, and find as many EarthCaches and Virtuals as possible. It was a rousing success!! [^]
Today was another warm day in what has shaped up to be a hot summer. The temperature was in the mid-90s as we headed up the highway. For some reason, still unknown to me, I was humming Carol of the Bells all day today.
Made the quick find, then continued on for more fun!
Thanks for keeping this virtual going!
Stopped by on our way home from Kaycee, Wyoming. We had spent the weekend attending the Chris LeDoux Days event. My Geo partner/husband already knew the answers but we stopped to take a picture. Email sent today with the answers.
I spent the night in northern Wyoming on a trip from Idaho to Colorado. Last night I noticed that I had no finds in Johnson County, so I wanted to find at least one. The traditional caches in Buffalo all seemed to be swarming with muggles, so I gave up and hit the road again. Then I saw this lone virtual cache not too far off the road. Cool. An interesting bit of history here. Answers have been sent. Thanks for the fun virtual cache!
I found this cache as part of a 5400 mile, 13 state, 8 day adventure with my dad, kbaldeagle. I found a cache in each of the 13 states we passed through, added 7 new states to my find list, found caches in 95 different counties, added 91 new counties to my find list, found 24 earthcaches, found 10 virtuals, and took a pic at 1 webcam. We had temps as low as the low 40s and as high as 103, passed over the continental divide several times, slept in a tent in city parks for free (when possible), and drove and drove and drove. It was a great trip. We found this cache at 3:43 PM CDT. This was find #2366 for me. It was 9 of 17 caches for the day and #14 for our trip. Beautiful country. Dad had to explain "dry gulched" to me…guess I should watch more westerns maybe...
Found this one with my son “HerrKraft” on our crazy, crazy, caching trip that took us to 13 states, in 8 days, driving 5040 miles…
We found caches in all 13 states, adding 7 new states to my list…we found caches in 95 different counties, adding 91 new counties to my list…we found 24 earth caches, 10 virtuals, and 1 web cam…
We drove until after dark, setting up camp were ever we ended up…woke one morning to 40 degrees and saw 103 degrees one afternoon…we saw rain ( yes, it rained on us one night, ), beautiful blue skies, snow ( yes, “HerrKraft” played in the snow ), dirt storms, wind, wind, wind, and wind, and everything in between…we saw deer, squirrel, elk, moose, foxes, coyotes, prairie dogs, antelope, ground squirrel, wolves, and every thing else…did I say we saw deer, some up close and personal , as we almost hit several…
It was an awesome trip, once in a life time trip…we had a blast, caching, camping, talking, just goofing off…the best part was spending time with my son, “HerrKraft”…I would not trade this trip for anything……………..
love this country and really liked the history lesson...sl, tftc
