The could be for one of several reasons:
- The cache is archived on the cache's listing site.
- Geocaching Australia has not received any data in our feed for this cache in a reasonable amount of time and it has been auto-archived.
- The cache's status has only recently changed on its listing site and we don't know about it yet (can take up to 7 days).

Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
Unfortunately I'm still recovering from major surgery (getting better every day !!!!!!). However I will attempt to visit the cache location within the week and hopefully reinstate it to its previous glory.

Smiley here from Canada; yes I do have someone looking after this geocache in Australia; so just waiting to hear back from them if they can restore this geocache; but for the time being; this geocache should be disabled.
Thanks; Smiley

The owner of this cache last logged on in August 2012 as of right now... I think he also lives in Canada? If no past owner is going to try and keep this cache going then it probably should get archived! I don't want to log this as "needs archived" yet just in case someone DOES maintain it on behalf of the owner!
After the previous DNF we were skeptical. Again, no sock found even with help from the missus so I'm not sure this one is here any more. Please have a check and we hope to get this one soon, it's a nice spot and it's interesting to see the developments happening at Green Hills!
A DNF for us.
Did not see the sock but there appeared to be geo trail so knew we where in the right area. Widened the search but no luck

Nice walk but you should probably being a bottle of water and maybe even use a bike :S I was carrying a skateboard the whole way.
Luckily chose the right approach after driving as far as the road would let me. Left two Canadian themed travel bugs in honour of my Canadian sister-in-law.
Great motivation to get some sun and excerise disappointed about the construction taking place.. TFTC
Found it on our way to the sandhills with 2 x 6 year old boys. Their first cache!
Very nice beach, have to come back for the Fitness Multi. Enjoyed the walk on the sand and along the beach. Good conditions today for the Kite-Surfers. TFTC
TFTC - came in at the wrong side of the fence, Geokid climbed the fence and found it!
Found the cache on this beautiful summer day on Cronulla. Picked up a Pirate TB and dropped TB we've just brought from NZ Alps. TFTC
Easy find, beautiful walk along the beaches at Cronulla with my cousin (Beaverfox) and my rookie caching roommate!
Found the sock and then the cache. Great spot, amazing view. Logbook is almost full. TFTC!
Thanks. A nice day 201120112011...20 day November 2011 20:11 o'clock. [:o)] [^] J-LEST-TEAM

Beautiful spot, but very very busy on a nice Cronulla morning. Sad to imagine how the vista will change with the massive redevelopment nextdoor. TFTC. T Starfish rubber L marbel.
Go Canada! Left a jumping frog, took Southern Michigan Travel Bug Pipeline Special Agent #006.
Only one to go after this one to score 100 caches in Australia on my all too short visit - trying to sckew my centroid a bit.
Beautiful evening and not to many muggles around thank goodness and it was well in the bush. Enjoyed the walk and the scenery.

Nice find on a sunday morning walk. Introduced a geomates to the cacheing experience. Tftc
First find for the day. Geokids spotted it. Had a good view over the old sand mine. Dropped off southern Michigan travel bug pipeline special agent #006. TFTC
Found the cache but not the sock. I also did a bad thing. Opened up the clips locks on the side of the container & one broke. Seems to still be pretty watertight though. Sorry.
Seems like it moved slightly from the original spot, but still around the general area... Great find Anna!! Along with Chucky, Newii, jeff, Bianca (newbie) and myself
My first ever cache, and what a nice spot to find it.
Used the logs and description to find the scrub with the sock (all the shrubs look the same) and after a bit of jumping in and out of the scrub between joggers I found the prize ! The cache is in good condition, with plenty of goodies inside.
I guess this cache will always be a special one now as it was my first !

My last cache for the day, as it was then time to return to Taren Point and retrieve younger daughter, Bethany, from the birthday party she was attending. Parked near the beach for the walk in, grabbed a choc dip soft serve for the walk, my first one of these in years! Headed up to the cache, found it, signed the log, and then back to the car.
TNLNSL, thanks for the cache smiley's!
best wishes,
Wal

While spending the afternoon at Wanda Beach, the wife and I would do a quick geocache while nearby. Took the trail to GZ. A quick search and was spotted by Kate (wife) and then I when in to grab it. Nice little hide and cool cache! Haven't seen a cache of this shape. Took Hippo, left tasmainian devil. TFTC
Found with tomddarling after a mad morning surf & visit to the dunes. Great cache! Was in good condition, added P plate. TFTC!
Found with Bunyip Hill! Nice morning surf but not many waves! Grabbed this cache and got out quickly before things got too hot. Thanks for the cache Smiley's!
It was a bit cooler and wet today keeping the muggles at bay; however we enjoyed the walk and quickly had the cache in hand. Exchanged swaps and took in the views. Will have to follow the track another day, thanks. .
Don't you just hate it when everyone else seems to find a cache easily and you keep searching under a bush without success? . found the sock, but no cache immediately nearby. I decided to extend my search radius a little and there is was!!! In Sydney for Ed tech conference. TFTC
My first find ever! Introduced to geocaching yesterday and couldn't resist a find after work in Kurnell. Fairly easy to find, Took towelette, left napkin. With some Canadians right now!

Was a great walk to this one. Took workcover pen and left fantastic furniture pen..
This was awesome! Picked probably peak period to go find it though. Sunday morning, soooo many people going for a jog or walk. Made me feel a little bit lazy with my leisurely stroll, coffee in hand.
But we found a couple of breaks in the flow of people to duck in and grab it and pop it back.
TFTC.

It took almost as long to work out how to grab it as it did to work out were it was.
Nothing seemed to be canadian anymore in it, but thanks for bringing us to a new spot.

Great spot, lovely walk and so accessible. But so well hidden. Lots of trinkets from Canada. TNLN
One has to wonder what this spot looked like before the sand mining companies pillaged vast amounts of the sand.
The Aussie movie Forty Thousand Horsemen was filmed here when the dunes were much bigger.
An easy find, thanks for the chance to return to a spot I last saw as a young child many moons ago.

Found with the kids in tow. Son's first find! Took Geoguitar GC and left "Pink pearls in mersea oyster" TB hoping to get it closer to the oysters.
we didn't take the most direct route but had fun walking the beach. Found a sock - actually one of many - in car park & now sock is in place. Left a Canadian guitar geo coin, took nil. Seemed a good Oz cache for it & specially as it was placed by a Kiwi ex-pat Cdn! TFTC
Found it after a bit of scratching around, no sock. Took Canadian geocoin and left bouncy ball. TFTC
A pleasant stroll up from the Wanda Beach carpark before hitting the surf. Friend Anna scored the points on this one, pleasant views with few muggles about. Thought this a good place to drop in a Canadian geocoin that had been freshly brought over by it's Canadian owners and I had found yesterday in the city. Thanks Smiley's.
Looked around the area, 100% sure I was at the right spot, but I couldn't find it. [?]
A Canadian cache void of Canadian-isms! rejuvinated it with a few hockey cards. Go leafs!

We found it Sock missing but easy to find without it. Well hidden Windy day but we were protected on the walk to the cache. Took a bouncy ball and left a little car and little pony.
Second cache of the day while riding our bikes around Cronulla - still raining. TNLN. TFTC. For those not from the local area it's worth heading a little further north along the service road to see the last of the sand dunes - I believe this one is heritage listed.
A nice easy find in a nice spot on a nice morning. Muggles every where

What a top day and a top spot for a Cache. Not a puff of wind, not a cloud in the sky and really good surf. I followed the track and it seemed like every Muggle was out for a walk or a run. I had to time dashing in and finding the Cache between the passing joggers. I hid behind the bushes to complete the log and swap some TB's and again had to time replacing the Cache which was a rushed job. Not sure what the two women thought when I suddenly appeared behind them but they seemed to increase the pace a little, mind you not enough of a fright to stop them talking. I swear one of them never took a breath all the way back to the car park, just "he said and then she said....
Anyway brilliant place for a Cache, enjoyed it.
