Clearly nothing happening with this cache - it's just cluttering lists and queries.
This cache pops up often on my lists, as the longest unfound cache within 100km. 3-and-half-years? So I decided to do something about it as the 10-year anniversary of this cache approaches.
Drove 80km to the area, then attempted to get closer to GZ. Soon realized the limitations of my 2WD geomobile, backed out of the forest, and thought it better to leave the car near the tarred road and walk in 2km along a marked track.
It was a very enjoyable walk along a clealy marked track, through relatively untouched bush.
After a couple of hours, I couldn't find any cache. Then I started digging all around the fallen tree, thinking it may have been buried over the years. Got fotos to prove it. Moved and poked all bushes within 20m of GZ. Even walked down to the riverbed, thinking the cache may have floated down during some heavy rains.
Some looming clouds forced me to eventually give up the search.

3-and-half-years without a find, despite serious searches for what was previously an easy find by several geocachers. And the caches nearby are registering many visitors and finds, while this one isn't.
I don't know if I just wasn't able to find it, or if no-one who is doing the surrounding caches is logging DNFs here.
Could the CO please confirm its existence to put us out of our misery ?

I couldn't find this one, I drove in using the boggy track that is really the limits for a 2WD. Followed the walking path, at GZ there's about 3 or 4 fallen trees, all on top of each other. I searched all around the area but couldn't find anything obvious, and searched some pretty unlikely spots as well. Hopefully it's still out there, it's been a decent while without finds by now. Good luck to the next cachers who attempt this one, if they find it - I'll be back
Nice walk. Bit shocked to find a stanly knife in there though.
Took nothing, well hidden.

Great wander in through a nice bit of dry eucalypt forest - although a bit damp today. Found by the geopuggle. TFTC
Well, I've had this one my list for as long as I've been in this sport, that is about 4 years!!
I had always thought that it required a 4WD, but guess what I have a very reliable 2LD (2 leg drive) that I can use as well.
Mrs Fozzy and I are trying to loose weight, so we chose this cache and 2 others to stretch our legs on!! Lovely walk to GZ, and cache was found shortly therafter!!
Thanks for the cache Embi, I'm slowly knocking off all yours!!
Find # 497. 12.08pm. First day of school, (no kids!!!)

I enjoy caches in the bush, especially if they require a decent walk. I walked this track about 7 years ago and it was good to return for a fresh taste. Plenty of wildflowers and not too many flies. An easy find at GZ topped it off. No swaps. Many thanks for a pleasant stroll in a delightful area.
I confess I drove part of the way and in fact found that there is a new track bulldozed to within a few hundred metres of gz although I have no idea why its there. I decided to start from a point on the walking track a bit further back and was glad I did as it is a delightful walk, well worth doing. It was a clear morning and the bush was in some spring showing . The cache was an easy find, thanks for putting it out there embi & trax.
Found today after following the bulldozer track to within approximately 400 metres of gz we made our way down the walking path and enjoyed the sounds of the birds it was peaceful.

Found this one at 17:00 on a hot afternoon with MrsFJ1 and geoDy.
There are tracks everywhere around here, but we found the walking track to the GZ about 600 metres to the north and hiked in. It was okay going down to the cache but harder walking back.
T: Hand magnet L: Hair scrunchies
Thanks embi & Trex for the cache

I have been wanting to visit this cache for ages and today I was in the area so driving to around 630m intersected me with a convenient walking track which led unerringly to the cache. Lovely smells in the bush on this hot day. TNLN thanks embi and Trex.
Find # 2134 and 4th of the day at 5:15pm on the way home from a family xmas reunion in Ballarat. I managed to drive as close as 390 meters from the cache but took a wrong turn and while turning around dinted the car on a tree and smashed the from left indicator, oh well sometimes you have to pay the price for trying to get too close. TNLN, Signed Log, Thanx Embi & Trex....
A late log. I found this with RoundCircle and just getting around to logging.

We used TomTom to get near this cache. But Halls road was 100 meters away from where the map though it should be and there is no road leading nicely to GZ. We were about to give up when I spotted a 4wd track heading in the right direction, and this crossed a walking track about 600m from GZ, so we walked from there.
Easy enough find once at GZ.
Really pleasant walk. I love the bush caches, I really must do more of them.
Left fridge magnet and took nothing.
Thanks Embi.

Happened to be passing and thought Id give this one a bash, mild day to walk to the cache, at GZ the GPS wouldnt settle and not having the clue, it took 20 mins of searching to find, in the end the cache was exposed and easily seen.
Cache still in good condition.
Took- car

Found at 2.30pm GAFF2. Found a track that took us within 390 metres from GZ, which saved us a lot of time and a steep climb! We found the cache straight away even though our GPSr's were showing 11 metres distance. tn/ln Thanks embi and Trex.
Last time I was here we found the area very easily but couldn't find the cache. This time it was the other way around. My 'Trex' decided to run off for about 30 minutes (a rather stressful time) and I couldn't seem to find a track heading in the right direction, so ended up going cross country. I also parked about a kilometre further away than I needed to. Anyway embi, thanks for the fun... TNLN.
Found on friday arvo by archean_goo

I must say we took the long way round to this one, trapsing through the scrub for quite a while, Eventually found the GZ and almost gave up as we couldn't find the cache. A last ditch effort by my girlfriend brightened up our day though.
Took: water balloons, Left small knife.

Found this one easily enough. We drove, following a 4WD track that took us to within a 10 minute walk of the cache. (How lucky can you get.)
Took the last chuppa chup (coz it was a bit soft and sugary) and left some stickers.
Thanks EMBI for introducing us to a new area.

It was a great day for a walk, and although I could've driven to the start of the track, I decided to hoof it. I completed the 1.3km walk in 22 minutes, and the cache gave up without a fight. H.S. Taz TB has been loitering here too long, so I'll move him down to Melbourne, where he will have a better chance of getting to Tasmania.
Potential cachers: come and enjoy this wonderful State Park; it's a comfortable walk, and the ups and down referred to in the description are pretty tame.
Thanks embi for making me walk to the cache.
IN: Pumpkin
OUT: Chuppa Chup (only one left now)

Found this one in the company of Alan-san, Kiwideb and Holly (Latina). After a pleasant walk of about 1 km, we arrived at GZ and spread out looking for it. Alan-san spotted it first, followed by myself, Kiwideb and Holly.
I left TB Taz and a Yo-Yo, and took a Chuppa Chup. It was an enjoyable walk in and out. I guess a little bit of preparation helped us to pick the easy way in. Thanks Trex (and Embi) for an enjoyable cache.

I love these ones with a bit of a walk. Gives us time to stretch our legs.
I started of leading Holly Muzza and Alan-san to this cache then decided to lag at the rear and give them a fair go at this cache. Ok thats not true I was puffed. Arrived at GZ while everyone were looking for the cache.
The Boys found it 1st then me at 1330 then Holly. Swapped tazzy tiger for a chubba chubb. Very nice.
Thanks trex and embi for the invigorating walk loved it.

Found at 1:30pm by myself, Muzza, Kiwideb then Latina (Holly). Another good cache for introducing Holly to the game, although next time she will have her walking shoes on - sorry my fault. In saying that it was a pleasant walk with the gallahs squorking and encouraging us on.
Swaps: Alan-san, a Chuppa chump (out) for a whistle (in), and Latina, Chuppa chump (out) for a koala keyring (in).
Thanks Embi and Trex for the excuse to get out there.

Found by stumpyspud, lisa &jez and embi & trex.
Stumpy led us the long way around but we got there in the end! This cache definately fits the description of a long walk, we were all sweaty by the time we got back to the car.
Everyone took a chuppa chup, we left a clock

Found by Mary & David at 1200. Only 7º when we disembarked from the GeoCalais for a nice long walk. Ignored a tell-tale sign as we walked along the trail marvelling at the regeneration after a recent fire. Saw a wedge-tailed eagle, wallabies and heard the bell-birds. Don't think Embi and Trex would have gone the way we went. Mine shafts to avoid, but heath everywhere like jewels against the bush background. Found the cache quickly once we reached GZ. Took lemon CC, left a screwdriver. Returned the way we should have gone on the way in. Hope you got a bone after this one, Trex, and that there are many more wonderful adventures ahead. Thanks to Embi, too.
