Logs
Found at GZ. No lid and the log sheet was soaked. Unfortunately I didnt have any replacement bags on me this trip. Thank you bringing us to a beautiful location. TFTC.
How nice to find this fairly old cache. We sat one tier up, as suggested, and found nothing. So we stood up, spread our search and there it was. A bit of a stretch actually to reach for the shorter one of us. We noticed it has Velcro on it. .. where we found it there was absolutely no use for any Velcro. Anyway, we signed the old log (it was dry but a bit mouldy) and theres a new log-paper too which was placed by a previous finder. Beautiful location here. Thank you.
Couldn't find after a brief look and noticed other people couldn't find it. Maybe it's lost?
Aw manHad two people searching every nook and cranny we could think of shame, will have to come back and try again
First ever geocaching attempt and sadly, despite the description and hint I was unsuccessful lovely spot to take in the view and enjoy the sunshine!
Thank you! Its my first ever geocache find and in my favourite Brisbane park. Much appreciated
Nah, the cache was there and a logbook was inside. I even signed it. No maintenance necessary. Thanks for keeping this old one alive!TFTC!
Super fun find definitely a cracking view definitely go and have a sit on the water
Hey just letting you know I just found this bet there was nothing in it it was empty
Quick and easy park and grab. Beautiful view and located in a lovely quiet and secluded location. TFTC!
Spend a while here but couldn't find it. I will be coming for a chill every now and then.
Out early to attend a CITO and event at St. Lucia and remembered I hadn't yet found this one. I'd been here twice before but was muggled out each time. Both visits had been in the late afternoon and the first time there'd been a young bloke firmly ensconced on the seat with a bottle of wine. The second time there was a group on the lower level passing around a bong so I had abandoned both attempts. On the way home I thought I'd have another go and it was good timing today as I had the place to myself. A quick look and I had the cache in hand. TFTC
There were two obvious targets once I arrived. Of course I checked the wrong one first, as you do. My second guess was spot on. Lovely place for a cache!
Sneaky but easy once you have an idea of where to look. I go caching w my brothers recently and this was the first time I actually saw it first! TFTC!
This was a great one with a simply spectacular view. It didnt take too long and the hint helped a ton. Good one, thank you for the cache!
I wish I brought a pen with me! Because I too want to log my name into the hall of fame.
First ever geoguesser, there was a fisherman near me who asked if it was a drug drop off and told me I was cool, first good experience!

Made a nice walk along the river to this spot with my dog. Such a lovely spot to find and take a rest ️.
Awesome spot and great to sit near the river in a place I never would have found otherwise.
My first geocache I ever found. Took me longer than I’d like to admit. I forgot a pen but I’ll come back to sign another time. Thank you!
Took us a little sit to figure out where it might be. This one fun and our first. Thanks for the hide
Thinking that trying to find parking would be crazy here, we decided to bypass it but as we were about to drive past, we spotted one available space so nipped in and grabbed it. A beautiful spot here by the river. I was sure I found this years ago but it’s not showing a smiley so I got to make a return visit to this lovely area. Thanks Rogainer
The parking and accessing the location was the hardest part of this find. Once at the GZ it was a quick find. A lovely spot to sit for a while. TFTC!
We found it! After all these geocaching, I think we need a sit down to relax…
This is not my first visit here. Over the years have looked for this cache and usually I’m muggled out. Today there was another muggle at GZ and it was decided to wait. And wait we did until the muggle left.
Then it was like a seagull awaiting a fish n chips feed and got the cache just as another muggle arrived. Happy to finally grab this oldie, TFTC.

Awesome views on this sunny day as we walk along the river. Stealthy find here. All good. TFTC
Tried to find it a while ago and had to log a DNF but came back today and found it! TFTC
My first attempt. Others have found it but I have failed. A group of people have just arrived so I will come back another time.
With a 4 day hike on Fraser Island coming up in a few weeks time I thought it a good idea to get some km in the legs beforehand. Starting at UQ St Lucia campus, I headed over the Green Bridge for a 28km loop, mostly along the river, out to the Story Bridge and back.
Can't tell you how happy I was to read the hint on this one, and gladly gave the weary legs a rest while I assessed the potential cache hide. Container was quickly spotted. The logs inside were a sodden lump of mush so I replaced them with new logsheet in a ziplock back. TFTC

This evening, I was home preparing for tomorrow's plans when a couple of notifications were sent for published geocaches. I hadn't planned on heading out, but with jesswrigley preparing for bed, I requested permission to travel out to the St Lucia and Toowong area. After visiting Ironside Park, I stopped at a couple of solved puzzles within Toowong and an oldie, before returning home.
Whilst nearby to this geocache, I thought I would grab this Q500 oldie, so after snagging a park at this small street culvert, I descended down the stairs. There were certainly some nice views of Brisbane River and West End opposite, and after taking a few photos, my attention turned to the geocache, of which was a quick find. The cache container was in good shape, but alas the logbook was wet and saturated. As I hadn't planned on my trip this evening, I unfortunately didn't have any supplies to assist with maintenance. Thanks Rogainer for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. It was nice to have found this oldie 04/2006 hidden cache, of which is one of Queensland's 500 oldest yet active geocaches.
